They don't serve food! But the staff was very attentive and friendly. The vibe is real nice

We popped in here on a Saturday night after running around downtown a little bit and they have a very nice setup! I absolutely huge selection of canned beers, almost anything you want you can find. They also have a decent selection of drafts on tap. Nice atmosphere and wasn't too busy even being a Saturday. Service at the bar was not very friendly but not bad either. This place makes a nice stop for beer lovers

Great beer selection (changes regularly but often leans heavily into IPAs and sours), + usually about 20 by the glass wine options. You can also choose a beer from the cooler or a wine bottle off the shelf to take home or drink there (no corkage fee). A handful of NA options in the cooler for alcohol free folks. Knowledgeable staff rocks and will help guide you if you're not sure what to get.

Great vibe at this spot, low key, good cocktails- only removed a star due to the high prices on typical bar food. Caveat is the bar food is done well* they told me it was a scratch kitchen, maybe it is but a $16 dollar corn dog is pushing it, and I moved here from SF.

Great space with loads of beer options both on tap and from the cooler. Take some beer home or enjoy it onsite! They had a great wood-fired pizza truck on location when I visited or grab some food from any of the nearby restaurants.

I loved the open space here (very airy even inside) and they also have a patio. Several televisions as well for your sports-viewing pleasure. Another solid option in the area!

Nice place to get a couple of nightcaps and people watch on the sidewalk patio. Comfortable atmosphere and easy going staff. We will go there again!

Lovely staff, and lovely bathrooms. Honestly there's not much better than clean bathrooms when you're at the end of a long night. Really cute place with a nice vibe. Good stop to make before going home.

One of the best beer selections that Downtown Phoenix has to offer. The staff is very knowledgeable, and is happy to offer suggestions. It's always a pleasure to stop in and discover a new taste. Cheers to beers!

This bar is such a cool spot. They have 20+ beers/ciders on tap and a fully stocked wine fridge, so there really is something for everyone. You can also bring in outside food which is awesome. Trivia Thursdays are the best but anytime at Theodore’s is a good time.

Have you ever wondered what drinking a heavily used hookah bong water taste like? Get the "Blueberry Maple" sour beer and you will find out! Absolutely disgusting! Nice place though

Great place for beer. They have an excellent rotating selection of beer, as well as wine. There are always a number of $5 drafts. They also carry a great selection of cans, and you can buy 1 or a 4-6 pack. Definitely a go-to beer spot downtown.

Friendly staff and a nice selection of beers. They had a Bingo night when I was there that was fun and had lots of participation.

Cozy bar with excellent craft beer and wine. Food truck availabilty makes it an excellent stand-alone stop on Roosevelt row, or a nice additional hop from Arizona Wilderness and other places along the way.

Super cute place. Bartenders are all amazing and their beer selection is insane! You'll definitely find some unique ones you won't find most other places.

DO NOT GO HERE! Was in town for one night and looked for a place to get a drink. Thought this seemed like a nice bar but how mistaken I was! Staff ok but bouncer terrible! If you want to be kicked out after half a drink, go here.

Great place to try new beers and just sit and enjoy. No food is served here. Just a nice variety of beers to choose from.

If you order chips and salsa, you can expect a bag of chips and a tub of salsa handed to you unceremoniously, get your own napkin and bring some plate ware if you have any expectations

Really nice atmosphere. I'm not a beer drinker, but like a sour every once in awhile so we decided to check this place out on a whim. You can tell they have a lot of regulars because this guy with a bigger dog was giving us some great recommendations from the fridge. I thought he worked there, but nah he was just some random guy haha. We appreciated this input and I got what he suggested. We will be back!

They have in stock for us NA drinkers, CBD cans. Mad Tasty (grapefruit). Might I say, the name speaks for itself. Pairs well with the vibes and romantic and oh so lovely hip hop blessing your cranium. Hip hop lovers club <3 Love this place. Til next time, keep it funky.

I have to say I was rather impressed with this place. They have something for everyone, craft beer (many varieties), they had a lovely cider and a bunch of wine. It's a very relaxed environment, so if you're looking to chat with some nice locals while having a pint this is a good place to visit too. Great customer service and the prices are good too. This is a very pet friendly place as well!

Hands down my favorite bar in downtown phoenix. Can sit here for hours, especially on Sundays when pints are $5!

The best bar on Roosevelt Row (or possibly Phoenix!). They always have the best selection of beer on tap and in cans/bottles. And an awesome selection of wine (Jason can help you find a wine you like!).

The vibe is always really chill. The bartenders know their stuff. Love this place.

We stopped in on Saturday afternoon after walking past the wilderness which looked obviously busy. The Theodore was starting to fill up but there was lots of space to spread out. Bartender was super friendly and made some great recommendations. We have been liking sour beers so we tried some Rainbow Sherbet one and Strawberry Supernova. They did not disappoint! There was a nice couch to sit on cute Christmas decor and a TV playing key and Peele which is like the best show ever haha. They had a selection of at least 50 beers many local love places like this where you can try a bunch of things. I don't think they had food here but I could be wrong and there's lots of food nearby. I will definitely be back and recommend this over the way too crowded wilderness brewery which is great for the record but too much of a cluster these days.

Stopped into the Theodore while walking around downtown after taking a glance at the bottleshop. The selection was amazing with so many interesting and unique craft brews! In addition, we were greeted so warmly by Jason who guided us through The Theodore's selection of wine, and sat with us chatting for awhile. Though there is not as extensive a selection of wine as beer, there were lots of interesting varieties with plenty of bottles from cool, local vineyards! After such a lovely first visit, I am so excited to head back to have a few beers/glasses of wine or check out trivia. Wonderful atmosphere with such inviting staff. Went to this place the other day and all I can say is WOW. The selection of brew is just as amazing as their other location in Arcadia “The Wandering Tortoise “ which also is a must see.

I was able to pick this nice Helton boysenberry sour beer from the beer cooler on my way out as well.

Great beer selections and friendly staff. Had a few hazy’s that were tasty and enjoyed. Their tap listing is on the untapped website or app. It was great to taste hazy’s from Pure Project and Parish Brewing. Even had chance to take some some from Modern Times. Great place for hanging out with friends- take some games or cards.
