The prepared foods was pretty much non existent. We were there seeking a hot meal option for dinner. The hot plates were all empty at 5 pm.the store was pretty quiet and no wait to pay. Are the closing down? Competition down the road may be an indicator of not much business
I have been a shopper of Whole Foods for many years. The Whole Foods at Hilton Head is a total disgrace to the brand! While there, I was told they put hot food out at 11. Waited until 11: 15, still no food. Although there were 4 employees behind the deli counter chatting, doing nothing. I finally left. Was also told they do not put the salad bar out anymore. On another visit, they just had soup out and nothing to get it out with.geez! On a third visit, while doing self checkout (because they never had the other lanes open on any of my visits), I had several produce items. Not knowing how to ring those items up, I asked the lady standing there watching if she could help me. She did indeed ring up the produce and then placed them on the metal stand.would not even put them in a bag! So glad I don't live there. A total different experience from my hometown Whole Foods!
One of the best whole foods that I have been to, their store is organized, and the staff friendly and extremely helpful. I usually never shop at whole foods and was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by the staff, ordered assistance, and found a great selection is products. The staff and great products made me want to come back again. I buy the almond flour capello brand pasta, I buy the sweet potato alternative bread, homemade guacamole, the alternative gluten-free crackers, their meat selection is actually comparable in price to other stores, great selection of inexpensive of beer, the fruits and vegetables, very fresh, and I go there again and again for the Banza products: rice and the jumbo box of Mac n cheese. They are in my pantry every week. Thank you again for the wonderful staff here.
We recently have moved to the area and are so disappointed by the quality of this WF compared to others, even Savannah is better. The bakery, fresh food bar, hot pizza, fresh bread, etc, is just plain lackluster. The food looks dry and unappealing. This wasn't a one off-I've visited several times and had the same experience. The level of service is lacking also. Only self-checkout? What's going on in Hilton Head? Terrible
Clean and easy-to-navigate store layout. Has just about anything you would want.it was a really clean and beautiful store. Easy checkout. I could spend so much time and money in this store though LOL.
We spend between 2 and 5 weeks every year on Hilton head. I went into the Whole Foods for the first time this week. It’s clean and open and easy to shop. Well stocked with exactly what you expect at prices lower than you would think. Nice people work there as well. Easy parking.
Came to pick up a Thanksgiving dinner. It was scheduled for pickup in a specific time window. Since it was ordered and prepaid more than a week prior, all I had to do was identify myself, it was brought to me and the contents verified, and I was on my way. Very smooth operation.
Lisa in bakery is one of the best workers Whole Foods can have. A complete asset. She cares about the customers and her team. The only reason for the three stars and not five is because unfortunately her team comprises of a cake decorator, Neamah, and who is quite the opposite of Lisa. Neamah does not care about customers or takes pride in her work. She is nasty, contrite and hard to understand due to a language barrier. If it was not for Lisa, our birthday celebration would have been ruined.
First trims at a Whole Foods. I really can't understand how the prices here were so much higher than the other stores. The quality and selection was really not any way better than the publixs down the street. Truly paying for the name.
When I am looking for a particular ingredient or spice, I will stop by Whole Foods and they usually have it. It may be a longer drive, but I have always found what I need.
