My fiancé purchased a iPhone 11, got the phone home and opened the box it was cracked across the front and corner, went back to Walmart with the receipt requesting a refund or exchange neither one happened, had to call corporate office, and was told to take it to another location and to speak directly to the manager and tell them that we already talked to the corporate office, I advise anyone that purchase any type of phone open it before you leave the store and make sure that the phone isn’t damaged or still being made. This could have all been avoided, everyone is not a thief.
Out of certain things I was shopping for. Good check out experience. Thank you, Cynthia Gaskin, for assisting at the self-service checkout. Cynthia was friendly and service with a smile. Polite older gentleman checking receipts upon departure, service with a smile.
Self checkout, no cash checkout @garden center. Go back to the store front, 2 registers open with cashier's, lines backed up. Self checkout, yay. Paid for 2 items with a 20 and a 5.00, change was $4.54. The dispenser gives me one $1 bill, and $3.54 in coins. Two dollars in quarters, $2.50 in dimes, and four pennies.the checkout "police" lady said it must be low or out of dollars. Walmart customers are already saving you tons of money on this "do it yourself" shopping, checkout, and take out. Check on the few people and stores you have open.
Can’t complain you see some strange things here with the customers but ultimately they always have what I need when the other Walmart is out and the grocery pick up is way faster
Went to purchase some razor blades and they are behind the locked glass. Pressed the help button several times. Called customer service. No one ever came, after 30 minutes. I even kept waving at the security camera trying to motion that we needed assistance. One side of the glass was unlocked so we grabbed some grill tongs and helped ourselves. Might as well. Have to check ourselves out too. Two days later, went to purchase a Bushnell 1800 lumen flashlight, cost about 70 dollars. These items are now locked behind the glass to prevent theft, but it has back fired and prevents sales. We pressed the help button and waited for almost 30 minutes, periodically pressing the button, looking down the aisles for help. Finally called the fron desk. They paged someone overhead. No one came. I walked to the next dept, electronics. I counted 7 employees in that dept, doing various tasks. Took 10 minutes before someone asked if they could help, even though I was standing at the counter with no one in front of me. Finally, this older lady asked if she could help and I asked her if she had a key to open a locked glass cabinet. She said YES.i told her it was in the sporting good dept and she stopped dead in her tracks and said" Oh no. I don't go to that dept. " I asked if she knew if anyone was working there today that could help and she said she did not know. I called the front desk again just to be told, " I will page someone. ". Not sure who she was paging because no one ever came. Took my business elsewhere and will continue to take my business elsewhere. WalMart is NOT the place it used to be. Guess it won't be long before grass is growing in the parking lot cracks.
I wish I could give negative stars. On Friday, August 11, I left $30 worth of product at the store. This was my fault; however, I attempted to call the store to see if the items were still there. There was no answer on the phone. I them proceeded to call the main number for Walmart and filed a complaint that no one would answer the phone. By this time it was late and dark and I typically don't go out late like that. I was told by the person at the main Walmart line on Friday evening at around 9pm that I would receive a call within 48 hours from the store.
I have never received a call. Walmart has taken $30 of my hard earned money and left me without even the courtesy of a return phone call. I will not be returning to ANY Walmart after this, as the store on Beltline regularly doesn't give me everything I order when I do pickup orders.
This review is specifically for the Walmart Pickup at this location. I have been checked in and waiting for 3 hours. I have talked to 2 people saying my order will be right out and I'm still sitting here. This is absolutely ludicrous and a waste of my time. I am furious.
Walmart is a very convenient place to shop, but I really don't care for all the self checkouts that most of the stores are going towards. I just feel that a lot of people will be out of work, and for some reason, I don't feel it's a senior citizen or physically challenged friendly. Maybe it needs to berevised.
I sincerely wish this (and some other) Walmarts would charge the price at checkout that shows on the shelf tags! It should be against the law to charge more than the posted price!
It's a typical Walmart that closes at 11: 00 at night so we're forced to do our shopping at a gas station without bright lights just a bunch of zombies walking around collecting a paycheck making Tick Tock videos talking smack on customers
Store Review: Walmart on Irby Street, Florence, SC
During my recent visit to the Walmart on Irby Street in Florence, SC, I had a positive experience and was particularly impressed with the store's merchandise return process.
As I entered the store, I was greeted by friendly associates who were readily available to assist customers. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate through the aisles and find the products I needed. The wide selection of items catered to a variety of needs, from groceries to electronics and clothing.
One of the highlights of my visit was the hassle-free merchandise return process. I had recently purchased an item that didn't meet my expectations, and I was pleased to find that the return process was quick and efficient. The customer service desk was conveniently located near the entrance, and the associates were courteous and helpful. They promptly processed my return, ensuring that I received a refund without any complications.
Throughout my time at the store, I observed that the shelves were well-stocked and organized. The employees were actively restocking products, ensuring that the items were readily available to customers. The checkout lines moved swiftly, and the cashiers were friendly and efficient.
Furthermore, the store offered a variety of services, including a pharmacy, a photo center, and a grocery department. These additional amenities made it a convenient one-stop shopping destination.
While the Walmart on Irby Street provided a positive shopping experience overall, it is worth noting that the parking lot could be quite busy at times. However, I found a parking spot without much difficulty, and the store's convenient location made it easily accessible.
In conclusion, my visit to the Walmart on Irby Street in Florence, SC was a good one. The store offered a wide selection of products, friendly and helpful staff, and a streamlined merchandise return process. If you're in the area and in need of a convenient shopping experience, I would recommend visiting this Walmart location.
Most of the time it's a great experience. Until you get to the checkout. Very few registers are open considering the demand. Lately it's been sorta helter skelter.
Honestly disappointed. I had been in at 3pm and asked about rotisserie chickens. They told me it would be a few hours. I went back at 5: 30-ish. I had only brought in $25 and wanted to get as many as I could with that, so when I asked the employees at the deli about the price, not a single one of them knew. Now, there were 2 employees behind counter, 2 employees stocking the deli things near produce, and 2 other employees in produce. Thing is, not a single one knew the answer to my question. It was not listed on deli board anywhere. Has Wal-Mart gotten so big that the employees are not adequately trained, and completely oblivious to their own departments? This, coupled with doing our own checkout, and never finding help on the floors? I have anxiety just going in there.
Getting better! New, fresh and updated inside appearance. My Grand likes taking selfie with the new mannequins! New checkouts gives one an appreciation for cashiers! Over look the boxes & things everywhere, change is messy.
Walmart is by far the biggest name in department stores and with that reputation they compete at a very high level when it comes to costumer satisfaction. If you've never been to Walmart then you must not be American.
OGP Loaders are the best in Florence. They always work hard to get the orders out if they are ready to deliver. Always nice and friendly. Always a pleasure to deliver for this store. Has shown great improvement since they let some bad apples go 6 months ago
Long line at checkout. You have to checkout your self. You have to give up your receipt and feel like a criminal as the clerk searches through your cart.
