Walmart Supercenter

Placed a birthday cake order for my daughter’s SWEET 16 on 12/21/23. Order confirmation received and cake was to be picked up on 12/26/23 at 1: 00pm. It was a busy morning (12/26/23) so I didn’t check my emails until ~ 9: 30am. At 6: 00am an email had been sent, from the Walmart Bakery on Woodruff Rd, CANCELING MY ORDER! The excuse was a technical “issue”! I called the bakery, manager, human resource dept, and even the deli multiple times throughout the next two hours! Not one time was the phone answered, it continuously rang or went to a pre-recorded message. I spent the rest of the afternoon, literally calling 15 bakeries in town, explaining my situation and that it was my daughter’s 16th Birthday. Needless to say, not one bakery I contacted would even put some plastic decorations on a cake! Thankfully, my oldest daughter was at home! She went to three grocery store bakeries before finding a bday cake that could work and then to Hobby Lobby & Michael’s to buy some themed decorations! Luckily, I had the SWEET 16 centerpiece for the original cake I ordered from the Walmart bakery! I cannot think of one possible scenario that could not have been corrected within the 5 hr time frame Walmart had the morning of the 26th. No one had the decency or professionalism to call me and present ANY options! I would have driven to another Walmart to pick up the cake! I will NEVER order anything from the Walmart bakery! There was not even an apology included in the 6: 00am email canceling my order! Thank you to the bakers and manager for caring about their customers, but then again it wasn’t their daughter’s, granddaughter’s, nieces, friends, etc. SWEET 16! It’s disheartening, for a mother trying to make her child’s 16th bday so special, only to have the cake order cancelled. I will never forget the look of disappointment on my daughter’s face when I had to tell her, NOT WALMART, why she got such a pathetic birthday cake! Do not count on this bakery meeting their obligation, personally contacting you with options of what could be done, or apologizing for their screw-up or the amount of stress THEY CAUSED while I tried to find another cake!

I don't usually go here unless absolutely necessary, but it's alright in terms of a grocery store. Wide selection, but the staff could be a friendlier. Shelves are usually stocked based on the times I've visited, but could be neater.

Terrible customer service, I called the store lady with an attitude answered. Basically told me she could not help me. All I wanted to do is pick up my order because it was never delivered.

People can not answer a simple question on if they have something in stock before I drive 1 hour to the store. Why do people not want to work now days.

Very clean and easy to navigate. Shelves are stocked 80 percent f of the time and they keep great clothing selections

Normally have a good experience, but the last couple of weeks I have been less than impressed. Low employee numbers causing line wait times, irritable customers and irritable employees. Had one ask me to wait for help in electronics, waited for 30 minutes. Nobody came to help. Had another employee with a manager vest on tell me she couldn’t help me because she “wasn’t in the clock” when I asked her a simple yes or no answer. Yeah, I Won’t be back.

It's was a typical Walmart except the police of Greenville order in the parking lot with their lights on most of the evening. Which puts even good people on edge not really spending moods.

Store is nasty. Waited 30 minutes to self check out. Haven't been to this wal mart in a while and I wont be back.

We came to find my husband a pair of khakis and left with a few shirts and a jacket for him, too! It's so hard to pass up their clearance deals!

Nice Walmart. Not too crowded. I found a very affordable ladies flannel shirt with a matching shirt to wear underneath.

These people are the rudest people i have ever meet there is no way they live in greenville probley on protective custody Tanya and the rest of the funky bunch.

I always go to Taylor's Super Walmart bc they are cheaper on most of there products then any of the other Walmart's around. They always have the Walmart brand gallon of milk for $1.25 (yes you read that right). I've never seen the Great Value milk over $2.00. The half gallon is always priced under a $1.00. My kids love milk so I go through milk like crazy a d buy like a gallon a week if not more and milk anit cheap now days at most places, that's is until I went into Taylor's Walmart. And it's always in stock. If you don't believe me go see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

The security team is a joke. Welcome yourself back to high school when you walk in the door. The head guy is very unprofessional

Good service but i noticed the day after service my tire pressure guage keeps going off but went and had them checked amd there fine

The employees were awesome.they went way out of their way to help.if anybody is in that area I ABSOLUTELY suggest yall visit here.

It's to busy and with lazy people that don't wont to work what few people they have running registers are working to hard to get people checked out.

Cool place. Always busy. Always crowded. Didn't have ANY chicken in the hot bar bc someone just ordered it ALL.and they weren't gonna drop anymore.

Rough day at Walmart. All the plants for sale by the entrance are dead. Lots of items completely disheveled. Many items out of stock. Check-out lines were all super long. They have about 50 lanes, but they only keep a few open. American flag outside was hanging on by only one clip. Customer service center seemed to be operating without overhead lights.

That was a small Walmart and reminded me of the small city i used live in. I thought Walmart small version were made bigger until i visited the Greenville store. Beside being small, the store was tidy and clean. I noticed that some of the shelves we're almost empty or sold out during the day.
I think Walmart should consider opening a supercenter in Greenville South Carolina due to the increasing population, especially when the Interstate Highway 85 run through it.

2 stars is my all around score for all Walmart stores, no one is ever around when you need help and I swear if you look for someone they keep their distance from you. I found a men’s electric razor on the shelf last week that was covered in trimmed hair, I showed the associate stocking nearby and she replied “Someone must’ve just been trying it out…” Idk that was an option honestly

Idk if they need to pay their employees more or less, but customer service is non existent here

Not a good experience, I felt profiled, I was stop by employee at the exit and gave her my receipt only to have her hold me there as if I were stealing. My you I only had to items and my receipt showed this. But when a white woman came up with multiple bags she didn't even look at her as she had me waiting for someone to come verify my receipt. Do better Walmart!

Never order grocery delivery from this store. I’ve never had my order delivered with all of the items I was supposed to receive (outside of considering out of stock items). Getting grocery delivery from this store is a waste of time.

Only self check out takes cards and lines to the back plus no cashiers to open all the other registers then all the buggies in the parking lot you have to move them yourself to park this is every Walmart yaw need to do better and start hiring

Their Website said they carried a item and I sent to their store and was told by member of staff that the product was not sold in store. It was only sold online. I drove 10 miles to the store to be told that they don't carry it in the store. Not happy with Walmart.

Shelves were empty in various areas and some items difficult to locate. Front of seasonal portion of store blocked with Fall merchandise still boxed up.

This place went downhill so fast. People don't seem to be that worried about covid. Lines wrapped around the whole store 1 cash register open and all of the self checkouts are blinking red.

I always shop at Walmart and never had a issue with returning items or exchanged items. Employees are friendly

It worth it and we found everything we needed but if you are looking for bikes this place is not for you.

I was told by the manager herself that because she was in a bad mood she would not be honoring any markdowns. Makiyah Makiyah Makiyah! Please find another place to work and let a teenager that still has enthusiasm about life and customer service get a chance to be a Wolly World manager.

This Walmart is the worst…one person working at customer service and slow as molasses and there is only one checkout lane open with a live person.trying to load my prepaid card. Hate it here

Overall pretty great. Employees are friendly and helpful.
Though, if you need help getting and item or doing a price check, it will take some time.understandable, the store is huge.

Needs more cashiers, more open registrars and lower prices if we are being forced to check ourselves out even if we don't want to. The bathrooms are nasty

Was in there this morning and needed help with getting a phone case, The man working in the electronic s was amazing, He was friendly and so helpful and his kindness will never be forgotten. I wish I got his name. He was great!

Bougt a shirt that didn't fit my husband because we couldn't have him try it on and then couldn't return jt until we got back to VA

I have never had a bad experience at this Walmart. I love the pharmacy! Rarely have a wait checking out. They carry all the things I love at a good price.

Horrible experience.grocery/order pickup needs to do better! Seriously! Waiting an hour to pick up an order is ridiculous.then they not bring the full order and I had to wait AGAIN! Really Walmart!? !? Where is the convenience? Please hire more associates.
