My sister got her nails done and she was far from pleased. The nail tech only talked about his DUI the entire appointment and made inapprorite comments about a pregnant customer to my sister. He did not do what she asked for on her nails and completely messed them up. He also cut her skin and made her bleed and attempted to super glue her skin back together. I hate leaving negative reviews but I was shocked when she told me about her experience.

The service is very good special manager. Wise, i'd like to go dear to get my nails done. Because they do a good job and they know how to treat people, God bless them.

I wanted a simple manicure and removal of a shellac polish. I read the reviews so I chose tropical nails. Boy was I disappointed. It was cheap and so was the quality of the manicure. My cuticles were barely touch. My nails were misshaped by the manicurist. They were rough with sharp corners. I tried to have her do them correctly but she was going to do whatever she wanted. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars was because they gave me an appointment a day earlier than I scheduled for…but in hindsight I wish I went somewhere else even if I had to pay more.

I enjoyed Alex welcoming me back using my name and getting me settled in until my tech was ready. My techs were wonderful as well making sure I was pleased with their service. Thanks y’all

I went in for a gel mani pedi, I was on a tight schedule On my way to a wedding out of town. They were speedy, but didn’t rush the service. Everything was still top notch. Very friendly & polite. Will absolutely be back. Thank you!

This place is amazing! All of the staff were so friendly and professional. It was spotless inside, very clean. Hue did my nails and she was excellent! Great prices!

I was in town for a mini vacation and I called last minute for a pedicure and they had opening. She was quick and we even had time for a quick manicure. I definitely come back when in town again.

Today was my second visit to Tropical nails. Everyone was very welcoming. I had a pedicure with Kelly & she did a great job! I’ve been to many nail salons in Mt Pleasant & West Ashley looking for one that that was friendly & did good work. Tropical nails is the best salon I have found.

I was on the search for a great salon to get SMS done here locally and I finally found it! After several bad, sloppy dips at other salons I FINALLY found Kelly! My nails are beautiful! She takes her time and they look so natural. ~ Mandy

Tropical Nails is my favorite place to go in the Charleston area. Quality service at reasonable prices which is hard to find around here! My business always feels appreciated, and I am always welcomed back in with open arms, especially from Tammy. She truly loves doing my nails, and I love how they turn out every single time.

Three of us wanted manicures and pedicures, and we made appointments. They were on time and sat us next to each other. The place was clean and new liners were used each time. We were pleased with our manicures and pedicures. The place was not crowded nor busy. Strongly recommend Tropical Nails.

I never get pedicure or a manicure, I came here to get a pedicure, got talked into a manicure, loved the service, very kind. When I got home I noticed one toe was smeared, hesitated to contact them but did anyway, so happy I did, not only did she fix the problem, she noticed my nails needed more, didn’t make me feel bad about coming back, GREAT SERVICE! I definitely go back

This place goes over and beyond to satisfy their customers. Love it here. I must ask if you should have an extra $5 or $10 to tip, please be generous during these times-these folks don’t make much working-I’m sure they would be very appreciative of the extra in tip. Love you guys and thank you for catering my needs at the best I have ever gotten at any other nail salon.

Very friendly staff. They actually talked to us and not just to each other! They made us feel like we were all old friends. I will defiantly be returning!

I cannot say anything other than what a wonderful experience I have EVERY time I get my nails done. I have been getting my nails done for years and needless to say I have tried many places in the area although none can compare. The facility is so clean and the environment is friendly. You have to See yourself. ENJOY

I recently discovered this salon tucked in the corner of a strip mall near my home. The employees are super friendly. This is my second pedicure and they do an excellent job with very competitive prices. The foot massage is wonderful! I would go back for that alone. They have a huge color selection in both traditional and gel polishes. I would highly recommend this salon.

Alex was my pedi technician. He always does a great job and is very friendly and personable. I look forward to my next visit!

My husband and I got Deluxe pedicures and we were totally pampered. The leg massage was so relaxing that my husband fell asleep. Best pedicure I’ve had in a long time. We each got manicures too. We were there for 90 minutes and definitely got our money’s worth. The salon is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend Alex and Angel.

Kelly gave me one of the best pedicures I’ve had in a long long time. She’s a great masseuse. She also does my acrylic nails and I couldn’t ask for better. Highly recommend.

Angel did an excellent job on both my feet and my finger nails. She painted beautiful flowers on 4 of my nails. My granddaughter was done by Tammy who also did a super good. After Katie saw my flower she wanted a pumpkin on her e fingernails. I also had my eyebrows waxed. I highly recommend the this salon/spa. They sterilize their tools, wear masks and follow the CDC covid-19 guidelines.

I have had each of the staff members here and they are all fabulous. I’ve had a variety of services like manicures (gel and sns/dip), pedicures (gel), and waxes. The owner is a very sweet lady and she runs a great staff. I’ve bought a hand sewn mask here that was great quality. Alex is my favorite though! We have had many fun conversations and he does a thorough job. He asked me my preference for shaping and I didn’t know, but what he did was excellent! I also wanted to find a specific sns color and he helped me find it! Kelly did my eyebrows and they were shaped so nicely! Tammy, Jose, and Angel also were fabulous in my previous visits. I have never been to nail salons more than once or twice, and I’ve been going here for months. They also give like a fun point system for how money spent and earn freebies. Their work ethic will speak for itself!

Been coming to Tropical Nails for about a year now and at this point I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s clean, COVID safe, and the staff is EXTREMELY nice!

I usually get a regular pedi but decided that, since this was the first of the year, I would splurge and get the deluxe. It was wonderful. So much extra! Very clean. Everyone followed protocol of masks and distancing. I will definitely not wait too long to go back!
