I absolutely love what the new owners have done to this place! Staff is exceptionally friendly and very helpful. And they have a lot more stuff in there than you would think a small town local hardware store would have.

Didn't have time today to roam around. Will definitely go back & see everything. I'm especially grateful that a lot of screws/ bolts & other hardware can be bought in singular units.

This place has everything! I was glad to see several women working. This makes the hardware, lawn and garden store experience less intimidating. There was a steady flow of customers for a Saturday and some of the best customer service I've experienced. Definitely worth going a little out of your way to avoid the "big box" experience. Great local business. Looking forward to my next visit.

Wonderful hardware store for our small town. He has most anything you’ll need. Their plants and gardening supplies are top notch.

Very friendly and helpful. They have pretty much everything. I bought a tab today to re-thread a hole. Worked out great. Prices are decent as well. Thanks guys.

Edit: This establishment is now owned & operated by someone else. The few times I've shopped there since the change have been pleasant. Prices seem to be more competitive and staff have been courteous and helpful.

Many items over priced and can not leisurely browse through store without the owner shadowing your every move as if you're wearing an orange jumpsuit. When assistance has been needed, my questions have been met with sarcasm for the most part; as if I should already know the answer to whatever it is I've asked. All other employees have been nice and courteous, but every time I've interacted with the owner it seems as if my coming in the store has created a hardship for him. Restructure pricing to be a bit more competitive and restrict the owner from interacting with customers and shopping here would be a much more pleasurable experience.

We found everything we needed. They sure did add a lot of new stock and bigger selection. Truly a great hardware store

I stop here on a regular basis. They have a wide variety of items and the staff is super friendly.

The selection of merchandise here is immense! The employees here are so nice and helpful. They didn't have a specialized tool I was looking for, but was going to order one to have for their already impressive stock of supplies. A delightful place to shop.

Nice staff. Seems to have some of everything. Since it's a locally owned business, they don't have large quantities, but give them a try. I found what I needed there.

It's no longer old Maurice whites hardware. To be completely honest the hardware store knows its the only option you got unless you intend on making a trip to greenwood augusta or Abbeville. Which is about 30- 45mins worth of driving to our 26-40 miles. And knowing that. They are certain to take full advantage of that in their pricing. Yet still Mr, white was the main reason I would stop in and burn the money. Just to see Ole Mr white. Might be slightly overpriced but still worth making Mr. White have to put up with my axx for a extended period of time each and every time I decide to wander the isles of what was whites hardware. Now it's owned by Mr Thompson who seems like a reasonable and kind fella and I'm sure he will keep the old hardware store a hometown crisis or emergency repair parts go to

What an awesome hardware store. The women working there knew EXACTLY where everything was. We were surprised at how much they carried being a small town store. Even more of a surprise is the prices weren't inflated because of convenience.
