The store is wonderful and clean but this one cashier ruins this great shopping experience. She seems to always be in a bad mood, not friendly and rude.
This was the best costumer service I have experienced in retail. We had some issues with the 20% off for college students, and didn’t know until we went to pay. Nick and Ariel took complete care of us and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant experience. I can confidently say that we will make this target a place to regularly get groceries and other items, and you should too.
Waited in line for 15min then was told cashier had to close and was sent to end of a very long line. Not great customer service. (Everything else in store is great)
Team lead Mark has been an outstanding customer service representative and problem solver! You resolved my issue all together. Has gone above and beyond helping accommodate my needs checking on hand stock on multiple occasions.
Target has become so morally reprehensible to me that I’m looking to completely cut out purchasing anything from this store or company. The LGBT nonsense they are promoting to children during June in the clothing section is morally abhorrent and for some time I’ve been considering never purchasing from this store again. Today, after seeing a Ruth Baderginsburg children’s book near check out it sealed my decision. The values this company promotes are disgusting and I will be looking to completely cut them out of my shopping.
I have been waiting 1 hour for my pickup that said “ready”…Typically great service but at least just wait until the order is actually ready to have me leave my house.
The customer service I received today from the young lady in the Beauty Department with dark brownish/black wavy hair and glasses was horrible. I came to this store to purchase a particular item I only get from here and after seeing that it wasn’t in it’s usual spot that I get it from I seeked assistance from her to see if it was possible it had been moved. She then proceeds to tell me she has never seen the product and she's been here for x amount of years. Then she says is it possible that I could’ve gotten it from another store as if I hadn’t just told her I always get it from here and was just lying about purchasing the item from this store. She was very snobish and acted as if she didn’t want to help me in the first place. Definitely gave “Walmart” vibes and spoke with a manager on duty to let them know what occurred as well. Will definitely not be returning to this location.
I’ve been to a lot of different targets across the country, the life of a husband married to a Joanna Gaines obsessor. This is the worst run target I’ve ever been to, and sadly it’s my new local store. Customer service lines are always long, while managers watch on. Drive up is a joke, I can document several 30+ minute wait times. The Greenville area in general will make you hate target, but this one takes the cake.
Target employees stand out from other retail stores because of their willingness to stop what they're doing to help a customer. That, among many other reasons, is why I love shopping at Target.
Target is my life. If I didn’t have Target the quality of my life would diminish exceedingly. I have 3 little ones and it’s not always easy to go in the store (although we live to and do at times) when I’m in a last minute pinch and just need something’s and don’t have time to go in they always have what I need. I hardly ever have to wait.
Messy store, rude managers & employees. I’ve been to much better Targets. This one is like a walmart. Might as well go to one of the two Walmarts located down wade hampton and save some money. The people trying to sell phones are so rude and annoying, practically screaming at me while I just try to walk past. Annoying.
Lack of customer service and failure to either greet and any type of exit closing. No thank you, come again, have a nice day.nothing.just handed me receipt and looked away.
I really love this Target store on Wade Hampton. The traffic is not quite as bad. They have a Starbucks, a Pharmacy, groceries, home goods, appliances, health / beauty and clothing. Its a one stop place for everything. I have a Target Red card and I get 5% of everything. Curbside pickup is available and I pay my bill while I'm there and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous to everyone and they wipe down the carts and disposable masks are available. Self check and regular cashiers are on hand. Handicap assessable and parking. Great place to Shop!
Purchased some cards online and decided to return 1 of the 5 that I purchased. Box is factory sealed. Went to the website to Start the return and it gave the option of returning it to the store. The customer service desk denied the return, not due to the condition of the packaging, which was pristine, but stated it’s “corporate policy” to deny all collectibles return requests.and suggested I that i contact the NFL? What? If I bought some Star Wars cards would I have to contact The galactic senate? As you can see in the photo, I have corporate policy stating I can return it in store, shockingly they could not show me their corporate policy that says I can’t. Weird how that works isn’t it.
This review is regarding the AT&T sales at this target location. I was actually purchasing a case for my watch and stopped to ask about AT&T fiber WiFi. I was helped by a gentleman named Brooks. He was not only knowledgeable and personable but friendly and helpful. I will be switching from Verizon to AT&T almost entirely based on my interaction with Brooks.
Went three times to see Consumer cellular representative and was never there. Left phone number for him to call with info on when he was there, no response.
Pretty rude employees. Aggressive managers who seem to take no pride in stores. A young lady in the Grocery area helped me find exactly what I was looking for while in the tech area no body was there. I wish it was managed better
An Employee saw me wandering around and could tell I was looking for something. She asked if she could help me find something. I told her what she was looking for and she helped me look until we found it. I was excited about it and the employee was as excited as I was that I found a toy that had been sold everywhere. This experience was the best retail experience I have had. I hope this employee gets recognized but unfortunately I can't remember her name. I would recommend this store and will be back!
Target in Greer, SC is close to us and the store has thoughtful products, a good variety, and if an item isn't available in store, I can order it on line. The products are great quality and it's one of my favorite stores for these reasons. My daughter came to the store to purchase a toy with her hard-earned lemonade stand money. She made her purchase and upon opening the item in our car in the parking lot, we discovered that the toy didn't properly function. We went back to return it and, after waiting in line for some time, a gentleman (a manager, perhaps?) came forward to help us. My daughter told him what brought her in, the reason for the return, and how she used her lemonade stand money to purchase the item. He was so concerned with her experience and making it right that he told her to return to the toy section where she could pick out any toy of value up to $10, bring it to him, and he would comp it for her. She was so excited and we were so moved at his kindness. I wish I had made note of his name (Matt, maybe?) because I am very grateful for his generosity. Thank you, Target, for another great experience!
Target is a great place to shop if you are a senior citizen. The red card is the best thing Targets has. You can save a lot of money using it when you shop.
I have shopped at Target for a long while and have always received good customer service. However, while at the Greer, SC location recently I had a disappointing visit. I needed help with something so I ask an associate who happen to come by, about a product I was looking for. She just walked right on by after a short reply barely audible. I decided to shop elsewhere for wedding gifts for my granddaughter and her fiance' even though they are registered at Target. I do not know the employees name however, she is probably the only one with blue hair. I felt like I was at that other retail chain where quality customer service is not a thing.

Target's PickUp Service is amazing. It is well-staffed. The PickUp staff were extremely busy and hustling but still managed to be attentive and kind. Great products and customer service.
Jordan was extremely rude tonight, I’m shocked at how unprofessional she was! I’m a very avid shopper at Target and I am extremely disappointed in her behavior. She said she was the Manager and I’m very surprised a manger would treat any guest in the way that she did! I shop at Target almost daily either online or in store and it’s a shame that somewhere I love to shop has left me feeling terrible in the way I was treated!
The attention I was given to find a product was great. An associate took the time to look for the item which was out on the shelf and suggest another product. The cashier was very good. Very compassionate. Thank you.
I went there this afternoon to get Lipton Herbal Orange Blossom ice tea. Of course they only had 2 on the shelf. And guess what the date on the tea was August 9th 2021. Today date is August 18th 202q.
The AT&T guy you have standing in the back of your store who hounds everyone who walks by - ruins my shopping experience. I refuse to go anywhere near the electronics section because this gentlemen follows me around trying to sell me AT&T internet. Just another place I feel uncomfortable shopping at as a woman. Products are good, but some employees are rude af. I went in there for diapers and saw a bathing suit I wanted and was passing though they turned the lights out. We were turning around and I was joking with my friend as we were about to leave this elderly employee caught an attitude and started yelling at us saying that the lights out ment it was closed. We knew that we were leaving. She said it three times yelling at us. In front of my kid. Not impressed by the staff member that was speaking with us. There was one blond young lady who was very kind. Want to give her props for being mature in the matter.
Do not use their registry coupons, they do NOT work! Target, stop giving new moms and dads hope that they can get a discount with the coupons when NOT ONE of them works! Will be returning items as I thought I would have gotten the coupon discount.
Shopping at Target is wonderful. The store is quiet while shopping. The new makeup area looks like the makeup areas in the mall. They have great clothing. The Manager is friendly. He is actually out in the store helping the associates. He always says hello with a smile.
I am very lucky that this Target is so close to where I live! Selection and quality of items is great and employees are always friendly. My favorite store.
The cashier didn't check the items before ringing them up. The product had clearance tags on them, he should have scan that and not the actual barcode. Other then that my trip was great. Customer service was able to fix the issue. However they had to refund my card then recharge it, I don't like this it takes too long to get the credit. I wish there could have been another way. I love that the store has events for kids. I wish you could sign up for something to get reminders or the events. If they had the events on a regular schedule. The only way to know is to check the website weekly/monthly.
