Almost overwhelming with the selection, very clean atmosphere and beyond friendly staff. Stopped in on a business trip and will be back every time I drive by!

My family friends visited this place, and at first they liked it. It’s candy, and it was alright. But we will never be going back. The customer service is terrible. The cashier was extremely overbearing with his touching and flirting. He kept touching all of their arms and saying he was strong. And that he could pick them up. Then, after they were leaving the store, the cashier was standing by their vehicle waiting for them. Their safety was violated, and they were shaken up. This is not the place for women, young girls, even children to go. This could have seriously ended badly. Highly do NOT recommend this place.

THIS IS THE BEST CANDY STORE EVER! We were greeted as soon as we walked in door, great selection on everything and great prices. We visited other candy stores in the Myrtle Beach area and this one blows the others out of the water. We will definitely be back a few more times while we're down here on vacation. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

We went to the southern location in Myrtle Beach. The store was very clean, and there were toys, candy, shirts, and other trinkets. The kids (4 & 7) enjoyed it. Nice open space. The salt water taffy was yummy. And the staff was SOOOO nice! We will visit again the next time we go to Myrtle Beach.

Incredible variety of items and very reasonably priced! I wish I got our cashier’s name (receipt says DJS) - she was amazing! Greeted us at the door and told us how everything worked, got us checked out quickly and was extremely nice! Can’t rate high enough!

Huge touristy beachwear shop with enormous selection of t shirts, bathing suits, flip flops, souvenirs, etc. Prices are quite inexpensive, and there are various levels of quality for the t shirts. The designs are also quite nice in general. Short distance from many of the beachfront hotels, so the location is convenient. Sales staff are very friendly.

Sure would be helpful if they updated their hours (before talking the family into a mile walk for candy). Anymore these days, you have to call to verify.

Understaffed / staffed with lonely old ladies looking for company— not looking to cash out customers. I was second in line behind a group of 5 people. I had a bored toddler. The employee checking out the group took overkill care and attention in conversing with the group about their purchases. Every.item.discussed.at.length. 4 employees watched from behind the counter, other registers not open. After 5 minutes, I dropped the cheap, overpriced dollar store toy and left with my screaming toddler. Do not recommend.

EDIT TO ADD - My husband managed to make it through checkout and bought our oldest son an RC car. Charger is fitted for Chinese outlets, so double check your purchases to see if you need a power converter for the cheap junk they are selling.

Posted hours (online and at the store) are complete BS. Don't bother stopping unless the OPEN sign happens to be on. Selection isn't worth the hassle. Next time we're going elsewhere.

We chose to have a honeycomb ice cream and it was great. The woman who helped us was very kind, informative and offered excellent service.

I had two great friends that brought back memories ofy dad from my childhood. They brought me back lots lots of taffy and rock candy. You give me memories for a lifetime. Thank you.the taffy is wonderful and fresh tasting

Hours online are wrong. Drove 15 mins out of our way to find the place completely lit up and the open sign flashing at 9: 45pm yet the doors were locked and they said they were closed. Unprofessional and inconsiderate of their customers time.

Their ice cream is very good. Im no ice cream guru but its creamy and the flavors are spot on. Not to mention their candy collection is out of this world. Great place. Great staff.

Sign said everything 50% off, nothing was discounted at checkout, toilet stopped up and drying fan did not work, no one cared.

Great place to get just about any candy. Great selection of ice cream and other treats. I would give this location 5 stars had it not been for the 4 staff members serving ice cream that each acted like you the customer were inconveniencimg them, each acted very short and rude after they asked how they could help.

Ok Bob (my kids nicknamed you cowboy because of your hat). We will be coming back again next weekend! This place has been my kids favorite place to go every year. The staff is so friendly and amazing. It kinda feels like a cross between Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (because the candy of course) and Disney World (due to how friendly the staff is). We can’t wait to see you guys again.

We went to Sugar Kingdom for ice cream and our group was pleasantly entertained by Tamir, the cashier/server. Despite being short-staffed (he was the only one working in the store) and that there was a line forming behind us, he was friendly, upbeat, witty, and funny. He (and of course our ice cream) made the perfect ending to our night!

Bright colors, pleasant staff, overall happy place to be! Huge variety of candy and ice cream! Would definitely come back.

Not good customer service
Young lady at store seemed more interested in her phone and popping gum. I asked about ice cream said we stopped serving earlier. It was maybe 4p or earlier when we came in. I mainly came in due to other people saying it was awesome, I was disappointed

I went to sugar kingdom yesterday and this lady told my sister a full bag was 6 dollars I went and got a whole bag and went to go check out all the candy was gummies and it was wrapped candy the manager said she couldn’t put nun back we had to pay for it or she was gonna call the police highly suggest DONT GO HERE TO GRT CANDY!

Customer service was great but it’s super expensive and candy isn’t the greatest some just taste gross and some ok but overall customer service was great and ok candy

I thought this place was better than I Love Sugar. It is smaller but they have so much! Big variety of taffy and decent prices! Very good service also. This is my new favorite candy shop to visit on vaca!

We looked up nearby ice cream shops and this location was the closest and said to be open online. We walked there only to find it closed. The sign on the door said it wasn't supposed to be closed until night also and it's not even lunch right now. Disappointed in the false posting of their hours.

Tamir was an amazing, professional, and very friend employee! I had an amazing time talking to him and seeing him make the dragons breath balls! Very very recommend for everyone of all ages! Thank you very much for the great laughs!

I’ve never had an ice cream experience as unique and enjoyable as that of Sugar Kingdom. My family and I walked through the door to a welcome greeting from one of the owners and was guided through the different and unique ice cream choices. They even had diet friendly choices for a more healthier option. In addition to the amazing ice cream choices the store was filled wall to wall with any candy you can think of as well as various homemade fudge selections. This is a must if you have a sweet tooth and are in the Myrtle Beach area.

This place is fantastic! The staff is so enthusiastic, and you will definitely be greeted with a smile as well as leave with awesome candy!

Let me start by saying I never write reviews, but I had to because of how friendly and amazing the staff were. This place is amazing; it's nostalgic yet trendy. I walked in and was taken back by the overall look and feel of the place. I walked around and was literally amazed by what they had to offer, everything from rolled ice cream to dragons breath cereal bites to their wide array of amazing candies. They have stuff that evoked memories of my childhood; candy cigarettes, chico-sticks and necco wafers lol. I also enjoyed their weighted candy as well; left with a ton of delicious gummies. Overall a 10/10. Last but not least was the hospitality/customer service that the brother-sister duo created while I was there, I literally did not want to leave. They were kind, generous and really put love behind everything they do. My only negative criticism is that I don't live closer to this place.

I ABSOLUTELY loved it. They are extremely friendly and family oriented. The Dragon's breather and Rolled Icecream is delicious! The service was amazing as well.

I went because I wanted fudge and had a coupon! Spent $44 dollars on fudge and candy! The young man working the store is the nicest guy I have ever meet! He was very friendly and you could tell he loved his job! He greeted everyone who came in the store!

The staff is honestly fun to be around, charismatic and genuinely nice. The entire building looks amazing vibrant colors are everywhere. This place is exactly what you were dreaming of as a kid. Not to mention the several different options you can choose from and the presentation is impeccable. I had the new cereal infused ice cream. I choose the cereal and told the gentleman to go with whatever he thought was best. It came out fantastic! Do yourself a favor and go try anything there, I’m sure you’ll be more than satisfied with the result, plus where else have you ever seen a 5 star rating?

Sugar kingdom offers one of the best experiences myrtle beach has to offer, from the vibrant colors, the chill atmosphere, amazing staff, and most of all their extravagant sugary sweets collection, all for a great price. Overall this amazingly sweet hideaway earns every star imaginable and I definitely will be attending SUGAR KINGDOM ever time I’m in town.p. S.definitely get the bubble waffle!

If I could give more stars I would! The owner and his son were so friendly and helpful. You couldn’t ask for better service! Best service I have had in ages! We drove 40 min with 4 kids and it didn’t disappoint! We had candy ice cream rolled ice cream AND dragons breath. All amazing! The store was immaculate! So cute and bright! Prices were great too! If you get a chance stop by! We will be back every year durning vacation!

The gentleman, Gabriel, was great! He was super friendly and upbeat. He was happy to take a picture with the kids as it was their first time in a candy store! Super nice guy, the store was immaculate and OMG the options were so delicious and there was so many to choose from! He gave us key chains and he posts the deals they have on the wall as well! Overall absolutely great place and when we come back to Myrtle Beach for a visit we will definitely be back!

This shop is SWEET! Our family was visiting Myrtle Beach from Indiana and we wanted a refreshing treat. We stopped in for milkshakes and they were to die for! They are hand made one at a time and you can pick from dozens of flavors. Our favorites were strawberry, salted Carmel, chocolate chip cookie dough, moose tracks, and cookies and cream. We went twice and would highly recommend it. Ok now let’s talk about the candy selection.they have everything you could think of. They even have fudge and it’s the creamiest and perfect sizes. Love love love!

By any god you please, this is by far the nicest icecream place I've been in. I felt so welcomed here, and had some awesome rolled icecream. The environment is eye-catching yet friendly, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The icecream options here are plenty and you will absolutely find something you'll like.
As a person that is pretty heckin shy, I didn't feel like I had to shy away from this place. It was so so so amazing and I could not talk about it enough. Please for the love of the god you please, come here and support

This place is awesome! From the second you step into the door the workers are upbeat, friendly and super fun to be around. They make you feel like your their top priority and make sure you leave completely satisfied (to the best of their ability). My family and myself will definitely be back and I strongly encourage everyone to come check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

This place was way too overpriced! I wanted some candy and the place looks really cool and joyful! It was 3.49$ for a quarter pound! The candy is good but it’s not the best candy I’ve had and it’s definitely not worth the price.i’m never coming back to this place again.don’t recommend this tourist trap.my total for 3 quarter pound bags of candy was 24.00! This place is so stupid. The workers don’t know anything! I’m very disappointed! I went to the kitty hawk nc location.this is very horrible

This place was awesome. Great variety. We had a family of 7 inside and each one of us got something we liked. The frozen rolled icecream we got a reecies and Oreo icecream. Watching the guy make it was cool he was energetic and kept us interested in getting more. We even got fried peanuts and they were good.anyone wants to come here will not regret it.

The ice cream infused with cereal was amazing, the ice cream flavor choices were incredible, and perhaps the most impressive was the superior customer service!
