I purchased a pampering package for my wife to use on her birthday which included a massage, body polish, back scrub and facial with lip and eye mask. There was an emergency for one of the therapists on the scheduled date so we received a call 30 minutes prior stating we would need to reschedule. Life happens and we know that so we rolled with it despite the late notification. Today she went (a week later) and had a miserable time. The massage lasted only 35 minutes and the tech kept texting and using her phone throughout which resulted in a lackluster and inconsistent experience. She also smelled like 50 pounds of weed which didn't give her any leverage in the poor massage. Then the esthetician was 20 minutes late so she just laid there. The facial was very nice and the only reason for the second star but after reading about how they treat Groupon customers at this establishment I suggest you consider other spas before sending someone here as a gift. We certainly will not be back and will urge friends and family to avoid them as well.

I enjoyed a facial and message. Had excellent service the whole experience was amazing. Will definitely be back.

The owner is very rude and unprofessional. Her business practices are deceiving. I had a membership my husband purchased and I specifically asked her if I would continue to be charged after the 6 months he purchased, she told me no, so he did not call in to cancel the bank draft. We were charged for an additional 6 months and it was like pulling teeth to get a refund. Aside from that, she was rude every time I encountered her in person or on the phone.she even left the room to answer a phone call in the middle of my massage, and then again to answer guests at the front door… during my massage. I’d recommend going somewhere else.

I don’t wanna get any particular workers in trouble so not going to say my real name or date of this, but several months ago my partner and I went in for a couples massage training session. The instructor kept talking about religion and making my partner and I uncomfortable. I understand that the massage training requires more talking than a standard massage, but the conversation was wildly inappropriate. It started out innocent enough with talking about how it would be nice for us to find a stable home church. But it snowballed into explaining to my non religious partner that the end of times are near and how the masseuse had dreams recently of angels coming down and fire raining down and killing non believers, which very much upset my girlfriend. In addition, we were asked when we were getting married or having kids multiple times which was not appropriate.

There needs to be a training or clear instructions to your workers on what is appropriate workplace talk and what is not.

While I haven't been recently, this spa is one of the best that I've found in my area. My husband and I lived abroad for several years where I came to appreciate the benefits of true and knowledgeable spas. One of my favorites, near my home in Korea, truly assisted me with my blood circulation as well as assisting me in improving some of my nerve damage from a spinal cord injury. When it came time to move, I was deeply concerned that I would never find such a place here. Low and behold however, Sparrsh Spa is able to continue the same benefits. Due to COVID I haven't been able to visit for the past year or so, now however I can't wait to start rescheduling my appointments.

Was really hoping to have a great massage experience at this location for the price. I would say a little more could have been done to accommodate; I’ve been to other massage parlors where the customer service was immaculate for less and they at least offered water bottles afterwards, etc. Just a little disappointed-was hoping for better experience. When we were done there was nobody at the front desk to even think about giving a tip or Sharing with them how our experience went.

Came for a couples massage and Charlene and Brienne were AWESOME! Popped my shoulder back in place and stretched us out! GOD BLESS HER! We will be back for sure! The 2hr drive was worth it!

Bought the 60 minute spa for two and we really enjoyed it, although we couldn't stand the full hour. The lady in the front desk was very polite and explained the process in detail. The room itself seems to be small but is all the space you need for a couple. The restroom was very clean. The price was good given that we bought a Groupon. All we had to do was to call to make the reservation and provide the Groupon code, so when we checked in, everything was ready to access the service.

This may be a decent place, but do not purchase a couples massage on Groupon. The Groupon is very misleading. My husband and I have had several couples massage in the past and this was like none other. We were escorted to a small room with one massage bed. We were told this couples massage was going to consist of one of us being on the bed while the other one would be massaging the other person, mirroring the massage therapist. This did not state this in the Groupon! We were thinking we would have two massage beds and we will both have our own massage therapist working on us. We will not be back because the Groupon was very misleading.

If you want a true Spa experience, this is NOT the place for you.from the rude front desk employee to a cold, not relaxing atmosphere

This place has been a godsend for me. I have struggled with discomfort from TMJ for my entire life, and Derpin (I'm not sure of the spelling I apologize!) has helped me more than any doctor I have ever seen. Her TMJ treatments are amazingly beneficial - I can chew anything without pain or tightness now. What a relief! Bri (also not sure of the spelling) is an amazing massage therapist. She always listens attentively and customizes the massage to my preferences. I feel like a new woman every time I leave. I moved to the Charlotte area right before the pandemic intensified and this spa has made my transition, during a very stressful time, much more pleasant. Thank you everyone!

Can't even describe how amazing I felt. This place and the staff is phenomenal. Not only they are extremely knowledgeable but super sweet and professional. Starting at the Front Desk Staff to the service providers make you feel so comfortable that you want to stay there. I booked an 80mins Massage and ended up adding the hot Bamboo Fusion. OMG that was something to talk about. Everyone should try Bamboo massage. Then i got a 30 mins Infrared Sauna session which detoxed me so well that i felt so light, relaxed and totally refreshing in my body. Infrared sauna has multiple benefits so i added that to my everyday regimen. I feel home whenever i go there because You are remembered and valued v/s a number at other massage places. Love Sparrsh and Sparrsh people.

We enjoyed a couples massage. The service and massage strokes were relaxing. I took one star because we requested lavender & eucalyptus be used during the massage with the oil and instead it was placed on our face cloth to smell during the entire massage. That was a bit much. We both smelled our skin after the massages unscented oil was used.

No lack of professionalism for sure. Loved everything about this place. Very well managed, clean and classy Spa. Got to meet the owner of the spa who is a really sweet, patient and cooperative person. She answered all my questions i had about the services like her time is all dedicated to me. I was impressed with Massage and European facial i received. Great experience after a long hunt of a Spa. This will be my to go Spa now. They have variety of services to choose from. I have been there several times now and saw no negative during my multiple visits. Didn't want to say it but have to be blunt about the negative feedback i see here, is probably those individuals had a bad day and they targeted the business to take the frustration out. I do not support that. Saying from my personal experience.

I received a bamboo massage and a hydra facial. I was there for 2 hours and had really good treatment. The massage hit a lot of spots that needed to be taken care of. This is by far one of the best facials i’ve received, my skin is glowing and I did not have any red marks leaving. It was clean and smelled good in there. They are educated in knowing what works best for you.

Overpriced.doesn't keep to the groupun rates she quoted.ended up charging tax on the groupun.really! Read all reviews i agree the owner has terrible customer service and will rip you off.

The services at Sparrsh are fine, but nothing special and I have concerns about cheap/dishonest business practices. I went to Sparrsh for eyebrow threading for about five or six months as it is convenient to my home, and the service was fine, but nothing that wowed me. After scheduling became a nightmare (had to call and it usually went to voicemail, made rescheduling difficult/impossible and would pretend it wasn't documented), I stopped going. At that time, I mentally noted that the price at checkout was always higher than quoted ($15.75 instead of $15) on the brochure/website and was told it was sales tax, which I thought was odd considering there is no sales and use tax on spa services in Lancaster County and even if there were, the percentage was wrong. I paid cash one day, wondering if the spa was passing on their card processing fees and saying 'tax' was a miscommunication, but the cash payment was also upcharged. Fast forward to present day. On a whim, my husband and I wanted to get massages and do an infrared sauna, so I booked us into Sparrsh. The massages themselves were good and we have no complaints, but the walls were incredibly thin and we could hear everything going on in the spa, including others' conversations-not relaxing when getting a massage. Then, the infrared sauna that was advertised for two people was really only suitable for one person (we are regular-sized people) and Sparrsh did not provide any towels or water aside from one towel on the bench of the sauna. If you've ever been in a sauna, you know that towels + water are a must. Apparently we were supposed to bring our own towels, which is unacceptable given the price point and 'day spa' advertising. Honestly, I could have overlooked all of this as a fluke if the price didn't change again at the register. The massages that were supposed to be $79 were $84.53 and the sauna that was supposed to be $60 was $63. I was told this is due to tax, but a) there is not tax on services (only products) in SC and b) these amounts are not the sales tax rate of 8%-or even the same % per service that you would expect if it was a sneaky way of passing on card processing fees. On my receipt, the upcharge is built into the subtotal line, with sales tax reading $0.00. I'm not sure what is going on here and hope it isn't a tax fraud scheme of some sort, but I will not be returning to Sparrsh because of the low quality experience and dishonest pricing. I can only hope the tips we left for the massage therapists made it to them and are not currently lining the owner's pockets.

First of all let me start with saying I have never had an experience as bad as this. I didn’t even go for the service I’m just talking about my interaction with the manager of the spa over the phone. She sounded like rescheduling is NOT something she can do. She sounded so upset, angry and answered all my questions starting with a NO. I had a Groupon which she redeemed before service, when I asked if I could reschedule my apt. She said NO - then she said I can come another day but I would not be able to use my Groupon because she already redeemed it and I would have to pay in full. I asked her if she’s being fair, she said that’s their policy
Please save your time & money. Don’t go here! The lady has anger management issues

I had a wonderful and relaxing Massage today at Sparrsh spa and the ambience is high class and staff are polite and Charlene did a wonderful Massage with high professionalism
We repeat again with couples next time

I booked a massage through Groupon and when I went to check out the owner lied to me and said I did not tell her I bought a Groupon and I did not give her the redemption code, both of which are lies. I told her I would not have booked the massage if I didn't have a Groupon and she would not look at my phone when I had the voucher open. She also overcharged me for a facial which I did not add on nor did I get.
I would not recommend this business and needs to be reported to the Better Businesx Bereau.

Excellent Services. Staff is very co operative and knowledgeable. They definitely know what they are doing. Very classy spa with beautiful décor. Very competitive prices. I simply loved every bit of it. So glad to have a local Spa in the area.

I was suffering with a chronic shoulder and low back pain for years. Went to try Sparrsh the first time. When i explained my issue, i was recommended a Neuromuscular Massage and was explained that this is a specific clinical type of technique that the therapist use to relieve the tensed muscles and it can be intense. I like very deep massages, so didn't mind giving it a try. It was painful but i enjoyed it. My therapist was very knowledgeable and knew what she was doing. After effects of massage were phenomenal. I felt 80% better. One thing i want to add is do not get that massage if you don't have pain tolerance (What they explained me very clearly before going in). An awesome place to try variety of services.

I received a very nice deep tissue massage here. The staff is very competent and friendly too. The atmosphere is nice and the prices are reasonable. Kudos.

After reading the reviews I was so excited to book a couples massage for my boyfriend and I for his birthday getaway that I had planned their in charlotte nc, so I go online to check prices despite what browser I'm using, things should line up so I book a couples massage for the 2 of us and it totals $180.00, I see the reviews says upscale so I'm really excited. From my view of the website its 180.00 for a regular massage and either a foot exfoliation or scalp treatment (or something of that nature) that came with it. Low and behold when we get their its just a small space in between and amongst other business, so I'm still looking for the upscale part of this place (you know, considering the reviews), and as much as they charge maybe even some wine of sort or something, just basic. Well we get done with the massages and they tell us to get dressed. I'm like what happen to the other part so I asked up front and she proceeds to tell me that its the way my browser is set up that the 180.00 is just for the massage only. I'm like maam this is a rip off. This massage wasnt better than any 65 massage I've ever gotten. I don't normally do reviews but this one I had to because the people writing the reviews about this place is definitely overrating this place. Its excessively overpriced for the services offered. I am a very honest person and I will never go here again. The moral of the story is I paid 186.00 for 2 "super basic" massages.

I never actually went. I purchased this service through Groupon. They redeemed my Groupon at 9: 30am then called me at 10: 30am asking if I was coming to an appointment I don't recall ever making. She pressured me to come but something didn't feel right so I declined and went to Groupon for a refund. I read other reviews where people said the same thing I am about them cashing in before service. I spoke with a lady there and she was not customer oriented, accountable nor did I feel like this is a place I would ever want to receive anything. My suggestion is to go to a spa that makes you feel valued and wants long-term relationships and clients. That's what I expect from a service based business.

I would suggest avoiding this place at all cost. I recently called and calmly asked if we could reschedule. They then became aggressive and rude. I found myself calming the employee down rather than the other way around. Maybe they were having a bad day and I hope it gets better. However, it’s still disturbing to ask a simple question to a business and have them attack you for no reason.

We did the couples massage lesson! Was a great experience and our teacher was very good with showing and explaining how and what certain techniques works on each body part. Highly recommend for couples!

I got a full package with massage, facial and back scrub from my hubby. It was a huge mistake, happened on January, I’ve never got an appointment available for me. First time when I called them they didn’t have anything available before the end of May.
4 month of waiting time!
Then I got a call 3 days before my May 29th appointment to hear that one of the therapists doing not well and they can take me only after 3 weeks or today-tomorrow during my office hours (2-3pm). Ridiculous!
I don’t have any desire to go to this place anymore.
If you are so busy don’t advertise your place in Groupon, period.

Very upscale spa with friendly, polite, and courteous staff! My husband and I had a learning session to teach us how to massage each other and the therapist was so thoughtful, thorough, and kind to us. She made what could have been very awkward very special! It was a wonderful experience and we gained so much from it! We will definitely be massaging each other from now own! Would recommend anyone looking for a good massage experience to go!

First I will say the employees are very polite and friendly. However like some other reviews said the 50 min massage lasted more like 40 and for $80 for 40 mins it was very average nothing special. I feel like anyone can give just as good of a light back rub at home. Next up I opted for the brightening facial, for $85 this lasted 30 mins, I was surprised it was not in a traditional facial room the esthetician just came to the massage room which was nice not to have to move rooms however that meant no traditional facial lights or steam machine, just turned the room lights up bright which made it less relaxing. She applied some products and a mask and then left the room for about 15 mins, no massage while the mask was on at all. Came back wiped it off and sent me home. No extractions either. It felt a lot like my usual nighttime routine plus a mask which I can also do at home. I hate to leave bad reviews but for $165 plus tip and 80 mins of services (that's being generous) I left relaxed but disappointed.

Was able to enjoy of a wonderful bamboo massage! Highly recommend to anyone who needs thief muscles worked and relaxed.

I am a member at Sparrsh and I always have an Incredible Experience with my Massages. I have had Massages from all different therapists and everyone is perfect of their own. I had Sciatic Nerve pain pain for years and its near normal now. Every time i walk out of the spa i feel the improvement after every treatment. One time i had a severe shoulder pain from work related stress. Only one session did wonders and all gone. No pain killers for me anymore. I am very impressed with the professionalism of all the staff members and the way they handle difficult situations. There was something i saw with my own eyes but cant explain that long story here. Only thing i can say is that I love the positive atmosphere of this place. Highly Recommended.

I had a horrible experience. I went in for an hour massage and ended up getting the bamboo massage add-on. I explained that I really wanted a massage for relaxation with light to medium pressure. Overall everything was fine until the end of the massage. The massage therapist used significantly more pressure on my shoulders and neck. It definitely was borderline painful but only lasted about a minute or so. Several hours later my neck and shoulder started to hurt and then the pain was unbearable. I was unable to sleep and even now a day later I am still in significant pain. I ended up having to make a doctor's appointment. I am not sure if the massage therapist was not trained properly or what really happened but I have had dozens of massages over the years and never has one caused this much pain.

Terrible service and the staff picks and chooses who they enforce the rules for, the lady at the front desk called us names as we were leaving. Childish and unprofessional staff!

They do a wonderful job here on my eyebrows. The woman that does my brows is so nice and communicate any chances that need to be done! Love this place
