I never write reviews. This store needed one! If I could give zero stars I would. Went in this store yesterday to check it out because it is semi new to the area, and I was waiting on food from China Kitchen just to kill some time. I had my niece, daughter and boyfriend with me. My niece had her own money with her, and wanted to spend it. She is 10, and my daughter is 8 for context. So she was excited to take her own money with her, you know how kids are. We all stayed together, and really only made it to the first half of the store. We got 2 slushees, 2 dipping dots, 4 little drinks, and my niece wanted to get a red bull for her mom, and she got herself an ice cream cone. We got to the register, and I walked up and said "Hey how are you? " and the girl behind the counter. I didn't catch her name Instantly said and pointed at my niece and daughter.and said "One of them put something in their pocket, I seen them do it. " I was so shocked and caught off guard, but I asked the girls "Did y'all put something in your pocket? " and they looked just as shocked as I was. And said "No we didn't put anything in our pocket" It is completely out of character for them to do something like that, but I asked just because sometimes you never know.then the lady proceeded to say "It was her" and pointed at my niece. So I checked the girls pockets, and while I was doing that it hit me. That first off all that's a pretty serious accusation, and secondly it's rude, and was gone about in the completely wrong way. I said "They don't have anything in their pockets, and if it is that big of a deal would you like to call the police to have them come take a look? " and there was a man standing beside her who might've been her manager, and they both shook their head no. So we checked out and the girl handed me our bag of stuff, and said "You're welcome" before I could even say thank you. So I said "I didn't say thank you, but thank you" We walked out, and checked the girls again just to be sure, and so we weren't at the register in front of other people doing a search on two children in front of adults. Still nothing. I was really upset. My boyfriend went back in to tell them we double checked and there was nothing. Instead of an apology for accusing someone of something they didn't do. Children at that! She said "thank you", and barely acknowledged he was speaking to her. They deserved an apology! Not a thank you. Ruined my nieces trip, and she didn't even get to pay with her money like she wanted to. I'm glad they didn't get it though. They didn't deserve it. Terrible experience. And to the girl behind the counter. FIND A DIFFERENT JOB you have the personality of a rock and do not need to be anywhere in customer service. And to management.family owned businesses don't seem to do well if families don't feel welcomed. Keep that in mind.:) Anyway I hope this business has the day it deserves. Do NOT waste your time or money here because you might just get accused of being a thief.
