Publix is usually synonymous with quality. However, the deli department has failed too many times to earn anything more than two stars. Person making my sandwich wouldn't even speak to me and when I got home, the bread was so stale it was barely edible. Moreover, cookies purchased were clearly past their shelf life yet marked "sell by" date was three days out. The rest of the store is clean, however, buyer beware with the deli counter. #publixdeli #publixsubs #publix
Easy access close to Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. A full service grocery store. Hidden behind the trees at the NW corner of the intersection of US17 and Main Road
My cashier Anthony, the service he provided me, was exceptional service. One of many reasons why I love coming to publix. You can never get this type of service from any other store. Anthony, thanks a million for your positive energy.
The lady behind the deli counter slicing meat was manhandling it and fist slamming it on the scale. Attempting to tenderize it or re-emulsify it, I suppose. Then some dude came out ready to go to war with me when I asked why she was pureeing my salami with her hands. Was a great experience. Needless to say she doesnt belong operating the slicer.
A bit pricey, but still values to be had. Clean atmosphere, fresh food, deli, nice vegetables and well stocked shelves. Nice seafood and meats. Employees seem to be very friendly.
Ridiculously expensive Publix. Poorly stocked. Clearly taking advantage of the somewhat higher income residential area in the immediate vicinity. Drive 10 min closer to Charleston and you'll find more reasonable better stocked grocery stores.
I will never step foot in a Publix’s ever again after today. I was in the hospital; and I had my sensory service animal (breaded dragon) with me. So I went ahead to the Publix pharmacy with my service animal. We never had a problem with my service animal in this store and everyone there knows him and I. Never had a problem at this store until today. We go in and a front end manager watches me all the way to the pharmacy and he sees my animal and doesn’t say a word to me. Then when I left the pharmacy to go shopping for another things I needed. He then stops me and says he can’t be in the store and asked to see my paperwork, so I refused to then he points to a sign so I go read it and it’s saying that emotional support animals are not allowed anymore. My service animal works with the touch, texture and etc.my service animal is a working animal that helps me and my child who is sensory autism. Then started to follow me and watch me like I was going to do something crazy then told another person and they started to follow me and etc.if my service animal is allowed in the ER dept in a hospital why can’t he be at Publix helping me? I will never spend a penny at that Publix corporation again.
Customer service in the deli has gone tremendously downhill. No matter what time I go, the workers treat customers like they are a total bother. Not to mention, on my most recent visit, two employees behind the counter ignored me for over 10 minutes without acknowledging my presence and caught an attitude when I finally asked for help. They completely ruined my entire grocery experience with their unfriendly and rude behavior.
