Prince Resort

Some rooms are renovated and some aren't as much but overall good experience here at the right price point. Would like to try out the building the parking deck is attached to in the future. Although the one next to the board walk is cool too.

I stayed two nights at Prince Resort in October. The room was clean and the service was good. So, I decided to spend the New Year there again and made a reservation, and I wanted to see the first sunrise of the new year while looking at the beach view. Very disappointed this time. We found not one, but five or five bed bugs crawling on the bed. I couldn't sleep in this situation. I contacted the front desk and asked to change the room, but they told me to pay more. They say they don't even have a spray that kills bed bugs ready. They say we're just sleeping. I was so angry. Several hours passed without any action and we couldn't stay here any longer, so we put the caught bed bugs in a container and showed them to the staff at the front desk to check them out. Our New Year's trip was ruined. While I was going home early in the morning without being able to sleep, I thought that everyone should know about this incident and that it should be made known through the media so that they do not suffer the same injustice as us.

The only thing that I didn't like was the balcony. We were on the 9th floor & the balcony was facing the street & very small. Not really enough room for 2 people to sit. We did have a good view of the ocean from a window located in the kitchen. Elevators were slow and not real clean but they did not smell. Kitchen was fully stocked. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful.

Our family really enjoyed our vacation at the Prince Resort! The condo was clean, we felt very safe and the fire show on Sunday night was so fun!

Not many handicap parking places. We stayed there for 4days 3 night parking across the road is ok unless you have 3 elderly people an a baby.man at the door told us they could.give u something to so you could use a unloading parking place for handicap if their 3 spots where full lady at the counter was really rude.no maid service the whole stay.had to beg for new towels. Couldn't use the pools cause their was no bands available at the desk again lady was rude wont be going back. Spending 1,600 an be treated like that i dont think so.i rented it cause my mom is dieing an she wanted a few days with her sisters at beachfront

The elevators took forever and one was stuck on 5 for forever, a family told us they had been waiting for it for 30 minutes. The White women by the pool took her job a little too serious, if we didn’t have wrist bands we had to go all the way upstairs to get one. She was also very rude and acted like she hated life. The big pool in tower #1 was sometimes very cold or a little warm. But the hot tubs worked great. Room service kept coming into our room when we didn’t request them to. The place where you wash your feet was very sandy so if you do wash your feet off there’s no point bc they will get sandy again. Out of the whole stay I rate this place a 1/10 and I would never stay here again.

Great resort and a great location! After reading the reviews, I was a little nervous about the Prince Resort, but this place was great. The rooms were clean, but the only issues were the confusion about finding our rooms and where to park.

We stayed here recently and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. "Dirty Myrtle" doesn't so much apply to North Myrtle. I'm already thinking of planning next summer to come back. Only draw back was that the pier was closed. However, I'm told it should be back in business sometime in August. Not sure why we chose to check out July 4th () as it looked like the hotel had many activities planned. My family enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel as a side note. What impressed me the most was the hotel staff was CONSTANTLY cleaning the hotel. I saw one staff member literally cleaning the baseboards! They were moping, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning windows- very impressive!

We stayed there last July we had booked through Elliott, We had a good experience the room was clean, had a beautiful view, the kids loved the pool and hot tubs. The breakfast was good and we loved that we didn’t have to leave the hotel to get breakfast. The view of the fireworks from the balcony was amazing. The kids loved the 4th of July activities they were allowed to participate in. Elliott didn’t provide any trash bags, and never came back to see if anything was needed within the seven days we was there. However a lady with Prince in housekeeping was very nice she gave us some trash bags, asked if we needed some towels and apologized that the other company never came back. We absolutely loved the room and hope we can get it again, (keeping our fingers crossed) The elevator broke down a few times but that is to be expected anywhere that has elevators. (I work at a hospital it definitely happens) pThis year we have booked directly with Prince Resort and looking forward to a great vacation. I have been talking with Lace and I have to say it’s been pleasure. The only thing I can say I wish was different is that they would allow to book a specific room number and that they allowed golf carts.

We were upgraded to an ocean front family suite, 2 bed/2 bath due to maintenance issues with the original room. Rooms were pretty well kept, beds were clean and comfortable. Lots of amenities including a full kitchen and washer/dryer combo. Coffee included with the regular pot but no pods for the Keurig, if you prefer those bring your own. Large grocery store just down the road. No continental breakfast, but there is a restaurant on site with good prices and another restaurant/bar at the pool area along with an ice cream shoppe. We were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely stay again.

We stayed at three places on our trip and this was our favorite. Thank you for the awesome hospitality.

Clean resort, clean rooms. Key access parking, beautiful inlet and ocean view. Quiet and peaceful. My new go to resort for the beach

Well, I had a lot of problems staying in a hotel around the beach, but we decided to call this hotel and the truth is that we had a great experience, very clean and very comfortable. The service was of quality and we will definitely come again My family and I will stay on another vacation here in Prince hotel Thank you and continue like this, really in love with you guys!

This place is really good, except for a couple things such as a bit of rust on the shower head, or the bar holder. Then theres a gap between the wall and the fence for the balcony where a small child could get stuck and get hurt. Otherwise its pretty clean, the kitchen has utensils and other things you could use. The pool area is mostly clean, the view is amazing, and the beach is very nearby for the ones in tower 1.

The location of this hotel is great, but it is in need of some updates to the rooms and hallways. Beautiful views of the ocean can be seen from majority of the rooms. Easy access to the beach and nice restaurant downstairs. Would ha e a perfect score if updated.

We arrived on Sunday, June 4th 2023 with the expectation (per request via phone booking) that we would have an ocean front room in Tower 2 as high up as possible. We were notified that we were being placed in room 1136, which was only 2 levels above the pool area. We asked the first attendant if there was any other availability to move up higher. We were told she would check on it and let us know. We received a text shortly after, stating that room 1136 was ready for us. This attendant never got back with us and we had to speak with another lady who happened to be at the front desk, Bri. She was the best part of our experience. Bri was nice enough to move us to room 1940. However, that meant we would have to give up ocean front, but would receive a credit, which we have received. Within minutes of us entering room 1940, two men from maintenance came into our room without knocking or announcing themselves. Appearing shocked that my boyfriend was there with me, they alleged that another maintenance man had been working in the room on something and he had left a drill. They were unsure of what he was working on. I told them that they could look around the room. One maintenance man opened the door to the dryer, shut it, then left the room without the alleged drill. I immediately notified maintenance about the first dirty item I had found (bowl in the cabinet) and shared my discontent with them entering my room uninvited and unannounced. The response was that the Do Not Disturb sign was not placed on my door. However, there wasn’t one on the back of my door to hang. Plus we had just arrived, so we had not had enough time to even thoroughly look over the room. We requested a DND sign and it was delivered after this incident. After our first night, we had to buy several items to make the stay more livable due to how dirty the room was. The following items were found dirty/stained/missing: a bowl stacked in the cabinet with brown spots (peanut butter?), a dirty spatula, coffee with no coffee filters, a dark stain on carpet in the living room next to a chair, a halo orange sticker on the wall, no sheets on the pull out couch-bed, an unknown object stuck to the bottom of the washer, dirt in the dryer, black feet stains in the shower, stain on shower curtain, yellow stain on mattress protector, two stains on one of the bed pillows, several stains (possibly blood) on bedroom curtain, the kitchen table was sticky with dirt/food in the creases of the table, and overall the floor was very dirty/grainy feeling. I would also like to mention I noticed several workers in Tower 2 loitering instead of working. Although there is a non-smoking policy, we noticed a strong smell of marijuana in the parking garage, other common areas, and in the hallways. The elevators shook tremendously and were down for half of the stay. The date of last inspection on the elevators was July 20,2021, which is nearly 2 years ago. The South Carolina Office of Elevators and Amusement Rides states, “A current Certificate of Operation is required annually (from the date of the prior year's passed inspection) in order for elevator owners to legally utilize elevators, escalators and lifts in the state of South Carolina. ” - This is a copy of the email sent to management. I will update this review upon any response/feedback/resolution that is offerd by the hotel management. Also, I would like to add that the elevator in Tower 1 did not have the last inspection paper posted in it at all.

Update: the hotel finally refunded only one night after I had to dispute the charge on my credit card.

Room decor is very dated. Feels like the 70s. Tvs are small and have no streaming options. No trash bags, paper towels, sponges, cleaning spray etc.

Place was roomy and clean. Pools are nicely kept and spa was hot and working. Parking is tight especially at night.

I loved this place! Two bedrooms, one with ocean view. Fabulous! Be sure to visit the IGA food store down the street. WOW! Best breakfast! They have everything!

Room was nice, but had no hot water one evening. Also out of 3 elevators, one or two were constantly breaking down. Third, the cable was glitching constantly.
