I travel quite a bit, and this PF clearly is the dirtiest. The showers were disgusting, and thankfully I wear flip flops. The equipment looks like it is rarely dusted and wiped, and I can only imagine what the massage chairs and beds are like, nevermind the tanning and red light therapy beds. I have never been to a PF, or for that matter any other fitness facility, with such deplorable cleaning conditions. This is not exaggeration. Understandable, as never during numerous visits to this location in Greer in past two years have I ever seen a staff member doing any spot cleaning. As well, the spray bottles seem to be filled with only water, as there is no odour or colour. Nevertheless, if I wasn't a black card member back home, I would be going to a different gym.

Great place to work out. Clean for the most part. Idk what’s going on but like… these dudes just literally sit around and talk all day and night long. They’re ALWAYS on their phones. Sitting on the counters behind the front desk. One dude literally looked at me while sitting on the counter and kind of rolled his eyes like ‘uh what do you need’. It seems like I’m an inconvenience. I do not like that the job consists of very light duties and they still don’t want to help.

Been super satisfied with my membership. Harry the trainer is AWESOME, super down to earth and helpful. The staff are friendly, and the other gym-goers are respectful. The only thing I don't love is the crowd of young people that get a bit rowdy at night (and sometimes even during the day) that loiter in the parking lot. They make me a bit nervous, but I feel safe in the gym.

Edit 10/10/2023: The crowd that used to loiter in the parking lot hasn't been around in the last couple months, so I'd say that the overall atmosphere has changed for the better since I started my membership last year!

It’s a great gym, but they aren’t open 24 hours like many other gyms. For me, closing at 7pm on Saturday is wasted business opportunity…plus people have jobs and work on the weekends.

Very clean exercise facility. Tons of equipment and lots of room, we are not on top of each other. Friendly, helpful staff at the front desk! And Affordable!

I love to workout there because it is a perfect place to do.
I recommend to get more machinery specially on rush hours because it is the moment to wait for free dumbbells, barbells, or any machine.
Also, I recommend some punching bags for someone who practice contact sports.
The best of them is the prices, I encourage everyone to start to train your muscles in this place…

Staff is always friendly, always knows my tanning bed number I want, I really enjoy coming here

Great place to work out with plenty of different machines like bikes, treadmill, stair stepper and elliptical. Plus machines that specifically target your legs, arms and abs. There are bathrooms and lockers plus showers and a water fountain. I pay $10 a month but have to go to the same location, if you pay $20 a month you can go to any Planet fitness. Great deal for a great gym.

Nice, clean gym. All members seemed to be diligent about cleaning up after themselves. That's awesome! Has almost everything you want in a gym besides a pool. Glad to be a new member. Time to get swole up dog!

I have visited different locations in S. C, Georgia and Florida and PF Woodruff Road in Greenville, S. C.is hands down the best. Massage chairs are State if the set and the staff were phenomenal. Immediate eye contact with a smile when you walk in through the door and a polite fretting within ten feet distance as you approach. Usually employees appear as to not wanting to be there and sometimes appear irritated when you ask for anything.

Clean and still almost new. Almost all equipment works well. It's priced to be affordable at about $13 a month. It does get busy and so it helps if you have flexibility on your time, but it's still manageable at its busiest.

Very clean, absolutely judgment free workouts and good hours, so there was never much of a crowd.

What can I say, except that it's a Planet Fitness? National chain gym, well maintained, clean. Swipe your badge, pay your 10-20 a month, and go do your cardio and weights.

Firts time visiting this location and I really enjoyed being here. Such a clean and good environment.

Updated: The new hires are awesome! Great customer service! Tyler, an original hire, is also awesome! Entire team humbling and always the friendliest, very dependable. Best out of the other local gyms.

Nice gym, clean and not crowded. I don't give it 5 stars because one of the crew members is very impolite and cocky. His treat toward me I don't like it. The rest of it is great.

Friendly staff, clean environment, and a great place to workout. Only complaint is with people understanding how the 30 Minute Express area works. The staff should educate loiterers by adding additional signage or traveling through the area at peak times to ensure no one is staying at one station or setup on the floor blocking traffic.

This is a gym that has a friendly atmosphere, clean equipment, and a variety of equipment to use!

Completely nasty and unclean. It seems like they have an attitude and never care to say hello or good bye to the guest. Need more training and less discrimination.

All of the equipment is fairly new and has better functionality than other PFs nearby, which is a major draw for member experience. The club is also beautifully designed, which is a huge personal draw for me. Employees have consistently always been kind, upbeat, and eager to help with anything and everything, including some technical hiccups when I first decided to transfer my membership to Woodruff Rd. Every single time I’ve come to this location, I see a staff member making the rounds for cleaning. I actually have never personally witnessed anything that appeared to need cleaning here- even in the bathrooms- so you can really tell they keep on top of things. I wish I could copy+paste this exact PF to every nearby location! No negative feedback and can’t sing y’all’s praises enough! Always look forward to visiting Woodruff Rd PF -Ariel

We are early morning members, 4: 30am, during the week. The guy who works the front desk, at that time, is beyond helpful and friendly (most other locations have friendly staff too). It's a joy to go there Tuesday through Friday (only open 4: 30 those days) We chose this gym as a "Saturday gym" because our other one is closed that day. We go a lot more often, because it's very clean, broken things are usually fixed in a timely manner, and all of the 'black card' equipment is available when it's open. Plus, it's very close to our home.

I go out of my way when I can to go to this gym. The other locations such as Simpsonville and Greenwood are not very clean in comparison and of course don't have all of the new shiny equipment. The staff here are also much more friendly and welcoming than other locations in my experience.

State of the art cardio machines a multitude of different weight machines the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to including other Planet Fitness facilities woodruff rd is a superb facility!

You do have to pick your time in order to be able to avoid crowds thereby increasing your ability to complete an optimal workout! But overall, a great venue to achieve your fitness goals!

This Planet fitness is clean and has lots of great equipment. Unfortunately the hours are not convenient. Most Planet fitness locations are 24/ 7 this location closes on Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm and is only 24/ 7,3 days a week.

I was shocked at how they announce their closing by sounding off a horrible alarm. I spoke to the manager about the awful, intrusive alarm. I explained how damaging this is for someone with PTSD or sensory issues. She was friendly and said she never thought of that.
Over all this is a decent gym for the price but the hours are lacking and the alarm is actually inhumane.
I've gone to Plantet Fitness locations in several different states and have never heard that alarm and never heard of them closing at 7 pm on Saturdays.

It was great. Nice, clean, and accessible. I love the hydroplane beds so much. The massages are to die for.

It's all about the people that work there. They're the ones who give PF a 10 through their hard work, courtesy and outstanding work ethics.

The planet fitness here is pretty nice. It's pretty large. So there's enough equipment always. People are friendly and are willing to give advice. I will say that their bar bells are a bit flimsy though compared to other planet fitnesses

The staff is cool. The equipment and layout is great. The showers are trash. The water is always cold and the floor mats are painful to walk on.

Really awesome gym! Love the layout and how many machines there are and spaced apart. Very comfortable setting. Will be back alot more.
