$7.27 for (a) Sausage biscuit With a little gravy on top of it. Been coming to this store for twenty years. I'm never coming back.
Owner was very smart to sell it.

Good selection of gifts, souvenirs (including some sale items) and few necessities while at beach. Also has counter where ice cream, etc.is served. Was one of the few places still open after dinner. P. S. Must acknowledge that the store is located inside a community (Palmetto Dunes) so there is a gate attendant at entrance.

I’ve been coming here for my entire life and it’s always been my favorite stop. I must mention that the new version of the cinnamon rolls are to die for!

When staying at Palmetto dunes the General Store is your best friend.if you need breakfast, or milk, candy to kitchen staples, a new shirt or a cold ice cream they got it.employees are kind and helpful AND you can bring your dog in!

It is cut little store with a Mish mosh of things. A little bit larger for not items to carry on door would be better, but it's convenient

I love this place! They have a friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and a great vareity of products. Their breakfast hits the spot after a long morning playing pickleball across the street.

Very convenient when staying within palmetto dunes resort! Clean, well organized, nice staff, and it’s nice to have hot breakfast available for a quick take out. Selection is lacking in a few areas but ultimately had everything we absolutely needed during our stay!

Have been a customer of the Palmetto Dunes General Store for almost 25 years! Yummy food, cool merchandise and friendly service, especially from Heidi Gardner, who is ALWAYS smiling.do I need to say more? I'm thinking NOT!

Stopped in for lunch. Food is always hot and delicious. Great selection of Hilton Head apparel and other goods. Heidi checked us out and was very friendly and courteous. I will definitely be back!

Convenient stores are generally overpriced, but this one is so much that they don't display the pricing for most of their products. (Surprise!) However, aside from that, it's a pretty decent little store.

Very convenient and they have a solid selection of snacks, drinks, ice cream and they also have good fried chicken during the day. Heidi was super nice and helpful.

Cashier was obviously under some sort of sad issues but still managed to be curious and friendly.he is in my payers and want The best for him

This little General Store in the heart of Palmetto Dunes is best known for its Southern Fried Chicken. They also have a make-your-own ice cream cone machine!

The lunch of this place is the best of Hilton Head Island and the very cozy place I do not know miss the traditional ribs of South Carolina

It's a general store with general snacks and toys. There are no price tags, so be aware of that I guess. It's very clean, and people were happy to get ice cream there.

Awesome deal for breakfast. Good tasting food and quick. Need to bring back the old truck in the parking lot

If you are anywhere near this place.the cinnamon rolls are a must for anyone! Truly excellent! General other items are a bit pricey but not outlandish for a quick stop when needed.

Great little store where you will find just about everything you need on vacation. Prepared food, snacks, t-shirts and an impressive candy aisle. Staff was always helpful. A very convenient shop at Palmetto Dunes.

Great deli and great place for morning coffee. They also have beer and wine and most pantry items if you forgot something and don't want to leave the resort.

This place is always busy and the staff could be more helpful. We went there about 1pm and wanted some Fried chicken, we were told that they were all out and only had baked chicken (which I would not recommend), after we paid and sat down outside to eat, here came people with fried chicken, I went back inside to see what was going on and they had tons of fresh fried chicken, when I asked them what's going on, they said that they try and sell what is up before bringing out the fresh stuff. Maybe that is why the backed chicken was so bad. Personally I won't go back as I can't support this type of business practice I will at least be fair and say that the fried chicken did look very good, but if course I didn't taste it. I am sure they will survive without my business but remember customer are like your teeth. Ignore them and they will go away. Hopefully you will have a better experience and they are probably worth trying.

Quick and easy. Good selection of shirts. Breakfast is outstanding. Ice cream in the summer hits the spot.

Lots of things to buy! They also have a candy wall that you can use a bag to fill, like how most candy stores do it. My one note is that they were out of a lot, but that probably wasn't their fault. They also have a little place in there that you can get a small breakfast or lunch. No seats inside, but a good amount of stools on the porch.

Great little convenience store with a surprisingly large selection of bottled drinks, snacks, and beach needs. Also serves a reasonably priced take-out breakfast.

It is so nice to have a General Store close by when staying at Palmetto Dunes. They have a good variety if you need to fill your coolers for a nice day at the beach. They also have a wide variety of souvenirs from your vacation. I personally loved the ice cream.

Their motto: "If we don't have it, you don't need it" is 100% correct. Even got the birthday candles we needed!

We have vacationed on HHI many times over the years. This, however, was the first time we stayed in a villa in Palmetto Dunes. One of the highlights of our trip was The General Store!

Their freshly made cinnamon rolls are delicious and the coffee is good. The store also serves fried chicken at lunchtime, and my wife loved the self-serve candy.

But the very best thing about The General Store are the people who staff it. They are always very helpful and friendly. Stephen in particular really went above and beyond when we were leaving for home.

As we were pulling away from our villa, in the pouring rain, our low tire pressure indicator light came on. I stopped in the store to pick up coffee and asked him if he knew where I could fill up my tires.

Stephen didn't tell me where to go, instead he put on a jacket and came outside and filled them himself-and he wouldn't accept a tip!

We will definitely be going back to Palmetto Dunes next year and look forward to going to the store! Thank you again Stephen!

This store has a little bit of everything a vacationer could need. Prices can be high on things, but that is all over the island. I paid 2.99 on something there and at another place it was 6.99. So. The gem is that in the back they have some take out breakfast (not all day and not on the weekends) that is dam good on taste and price.wish I had known sooner.

Great store with reasonable prices. We stopped here almost every day of our vacation. Ice cream, sandwiches, beach supplies, souvenirs and more.

I was getting icees the store looked nice and seemed nice and the lady at the counter with white hair screamed at my kids, and made them cry. Not a very good one experience.

Getting coffee at the General Store is how we start every day while staying in Palmetto Dunes. Sit on the porch enjoying coffee and planning the day ahead as well as chatting with other vacationers. The trip would not be the same without " The General Store "!

A basic convenience store with souvenirs and (at times) prepared food. I'd appreciate the staff wearing masks, but a lack of face covering is typical on Hilton Head Island.

What an awesome store. Sunblock, beach chairs, tons of ice creams snacks, and drinks. As well as ga great selection of Hilton head gear, Knick knacks, and an entire boards head window in the back! They serve hot food like chicken and French fries and even have some pre sliced meats and cheeses. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Wonderful spot. The owner Frank was extremely accommodating and helpful.

This location is convenient but the service was disappointing. Made me feel like I was not important enough for this establishment.

A hidden treasure. Want a fresh breakfast go here and you will love it. Better than the Omni HHPrime brunch I had. Prices for everything in store reasonable. Can't help but buy hat and shirt they were cool. Cool stuff in store.

It cracks me up anyone that posts a bad review based on price or how busy the General Store is! It's packed because it's in a great location and the prices are supposed to be based on convenience, not lowest price! If you want lower prices, drive somewhere. This is meant to be a small, charming place and it delivers fully. We truly enjoy going to the General Store!

One of the best things about Palmetto Dunes. The hot deli food is always great and service is quick. They have so much stuff you may need packed in the place. My kids love this place!

Good place. The items are expensive. For example, a coke slushee (maybe 16oz) is $3.25. But they are good. Only place close by for a slushee or icecream. Very good location for people in palmetto dunes

Incredibly charming little shop with a large variety. Amazing breakfast and lunch food at great prices! Very convenient when living or staying in Palmetto Dunes. Either myself or kids go here at least once a week. Friendly staff, and great hours of operation.

Cute little store! This is place we must stop at when we ride bikes! It has food, drinks, and perfect souvenirs! The kids always find something they'd like to have that is Hilton Head related!

Super convenient location for anyone staying at Palmetto Dunes. They have just about anything you would need from bait & tackle to ice cream & even a small deli.

Easily located near the entrance of Palmetto Dunes. Always seemed really busy. They have snacks, ice cream, a small amount of staples, souvenirs, and even soft serve inside (but it's serve yourself, and in covid times I was kind of grossed out by how many people were using it). Plenty of clerks, so the line went quickly.

Great for breakfast or lunch or just picking up a few necessities. They also have fresh coffee, ice cream and beach items. Forgot your fishing gear, they have it. And frozen bait! Friendly staff and outdoor seating is available.

Everything you need at reasonable prices! Great T-Shirt and beach souvenir selections. Basic food needs and a nice selection of local stuff! This store is a gem!

Busy store and great customer service. Very convenient and had every item I needed that I'd forgotten. Love the old truck and the outside eating area.

They have a pretty decent selection of stuff to get you by if you forgot something or just don't want to drive all the way to one of the bigger stores.

Have been coming here for years, every day of vacation since I was a little kid. Always friendly at the cashier. The breakfast is great (biscuits and gravy especially) and easy to order for take-out. Good variety of snacks, coffee, souvenirs, toys, beach items, etc. Visiting again this year and it will surely be one of my first stops on the island.

The cashier seemed like she didn't want to help us but other than that the store is fully stocked with souvenirs toys and food. The pulled pork sandwiches tasted good

Breakfast and lunch options made on premises are elite! Sitting on porch of store enjoying an early morning coffee is the best!

Melissa working the counter tried to refuse a mask for me after I forgot one while riding my bike to the store with my daughter. Rude! Especially during a pandemic! I wouldn’t let her work the toilet room in my store. So much for southern hospitality!

This is a Palmetto Dunes staple. The area would not be the same without it. Great breakfast options in the morning. Fried chicken and pulled pork sandwiches for lunch. Kids get their soft serve ice cream.

The service is wonderful too. Always a smiling face to great you.

My family have been coming here for years. Thank you Mellissa and rest of staff for taking care of us all these years. Cant wait until July.

Wonderful place to get Hilton Head island memorabilia.also the cooks in the back of the store are amazing! Great food! Coming off the beach or heading to the beach they have anything you need!
