I was in a rice competition on December 2 I was looking for some good ham hocks to make ham hock and neckbone Preloo it came out great and my dish won Thank you Ole Timey Meats.

Their fresh meat and seafood selection always proves to be the freshest and surprisingly; priced as well and sometimes BETTER than your local grocery store meat selection which has set for days, processed and packaged.

This is my go to local butcher. The quality of meat is amazing. I order my thanksgiving turkey from them every year. Also, their thick cut pork chops are a family favorite. I purchased 4 thick cut ribeyes from them a few days ago and they were some of the best steaks I have ever put on my grill. For my birthday tomorrow I am going to get some baby back ribs from them for my birthday. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but quality does cost more. If you want to be sure what you are buying is “top shelf” meat. I would only go them here on Lady’s Island.

Very nice operation! Good mix of hard to find packaged brands plus real butcher cuts under the case plus selection of frozen exotic sausages and such. All of it. Also, from the earliest days, they work hard to keep the place safe for everybody. Distance lines, even from the counter and occupancy limits carefully watched.

Great service and product. I shopped the store on May 21 2020 for our Memorial Day cookout. Purchased ground round, dogs, scallops and a whole cut chicken from the showcase. Pulling out the refrigerated purchase today the chicken was missing. Can you confirm that it was left on the counter? I shopped around 1: 00 pm. Thanks, will follow up with phone call when store reopens.

Meat is fresh and better than buying at grocery chains where you do not know what they are adding and it is tasteless. Ole Timey Meats you are my new favorite place to buy my meats.

You should really consider posting that people can’t get the monthly special when they come in. To wait 45minutes to be told I can order and come back tomorrow to wait in Line to pick up is ridiculous considering I came in Friday and you didn’t have the inventory to make the monthly special then and ask me to come back this week. Why didn’t you suggest ordering it Friday so I could have picked up today. Really unimpressed with that service.

The meat melts in my mouth, it is so fresh! We love all the ingredient options. We've been shopping there for years, we love the meat!
