Amy and Lance are highly qualified nail professionals. My nails look amazing each time I get them done. They speak clear English and are very personable.

I called and made an appointment. Arrived 10 minutes early, and when I walked in, they immediately said, "Sorry, we have no room. " No hi how are you, do you have an appointment. I thought it was very rude.
As I was with my little one, I was patient and we waited an additional 30 minutes after our appointment time till they were finally able to get to us.
My little one got the color she wanted and a cute design on one of her nails, but my manicure looks awful. I have cotton fibers I'm still picking off my nails, and they didn't finish filing my nails. I still have sharp edges, and will be finishing my nails myself.
All I wanted was my gel of an old manicure taken off and my nails trimmed and filed down smooth. They charge $12 extra for gel removal which they didn't tel me about till it was time to pay. And they didn't finish filling my nails. With the gel removal I get my nails wouldn't be amazing, but I had doped they would at least be smooth.
I'm very disappointed amd will not be back.

It was my first time going in, just kind of came across it as I was driving and figured I would swing by and see if they were able to get me in.
They were busy but made sure they did get me in. They all were pretty friendly which was nice.
The girl that did my nails was super sweet but unfortunately didn’t really clean around my cuticles that good. (I am a picker so it’s important for me to get it done right or else I’ll go in and start picking)
The color was super cute but was a light color and unfortunately the way it was put on was not the best, you can see the lines and parts where it’s darker/ lighter.
Just a week later my gel started peeling off.
I have been doing gel for years and always last a pretty good a amount at least 2 weeks for sure!
I definitely will try it one more time just because the girl was sweet.

I love Modern Nails! I’ve been seeing them for almost 9 months and every time I go it’s awesome! Amy does such a beautiful job, she’s so sweet and kind and her family is beautiful! So grateful for her!

They will not answer the phone or return calls. When I went in to book an appointment they were unfriendly and seemed annoyed. Very frustrating and unprofessional. They may be busy now but if this keeps up they won't be for long.

The owners are super friendly, the salon is super clean and my nails look amazing every time I visit.

I'm new to this area and looking for a nail salon, I went today they assumed I wanted acrylic nails. Once we got over that I was told to pick my color and I did was told to wash my hand and I did only to be told she wouldn't have time to do my nails due to an upcoming appt. When I went in I could tell they really didn't want to serve me and that is okay but don't waste my time.

I started going to Modern Nails in 2020 after using various nail salons and spas which I was disappointed in each one I had used. I am a former salon owner and know what quality and customer service is about. I am no longer able to do my nails due to nerve damage in my neck, arms, and hands.
On my first visit to Modern Nails I found the only nail salon I will ever go to. Even when traveling for an extended period of time my polish stays on without chipping and I won't have my nails done until I return home even if my nails have grown out I will only have my nails done when I return home.
Amy and her husband are absolutely the best. They care about their clients, are very meticulous, care about the work they do, and are simply wonderful people!

I’ve been looking for a consistently good nail place around me for the past few months and now that I’ve found Modern Nails I will never go anywhere else. I know very little about nails, services, upkeep, etc.and the owners have been incredibly patient and helpful with me! The owners truly care about what they are doing and want you to feel comfortable and welcome. Very great service, wonderful value, and overall amazing experience.

Best nail salon in the area. Amy does such an amazing job and treats every job as if it was for herself. She's a perfectionist and I absolutely love that in any stylist. Everytime I go, I want to take pictures and post them on pinterest because the shape and paint job looks so good! And I absolutely would if I liked my hands and fingers lol but seriously both her and her husband do such a great job! This is the only nail salon I go to, and I've been to many in this area but this one is definitely the winner!

What I like most and especially appreciate during COVID is the one-on-one service I receive. For all rhe reviewers complaining about not being serviced when they walk in, take the time to make an appointment. The owners do all the work and take their time. I appreciate the cleanliness and the fact they dont pack in people to earn more money. You want walk-in service, then go to another salon where every chair is filled and they rush through everything. You want to relax and have the focus on you, then book an appointment at Modern Nails. For those giving a bad review because the owners didn't jump for you.pick up your phone and make an appointment. It's impossible to accommodate every person who walks through the door, and you shouldn't expect that from a husband and wife team running a small business.

Excellent job! A few days after I got my nails done, I started working on my car with my dad. A lot of disassembling the car and grease and what-not.and my nails still stayed in-tact! Not a single chip or scratch! They do a great job at your nails and are very nice people. Would recommend to anyone. Will come back again for sure!

They always take care of me, always find a way to fit me in and my nails look fabulous! Great selection of colors and multiple brands to choose from! They care about their customers, always ask about work and my boys and just life in general!

I have a pulled Achilles Tendon and a blood clot in my lower leg. My doctor recommended massages. I asked about a pedicure and he was all for it. I checked to see which nail salon had the highest rating near me (we've tried a few). Modern Nails came in first, so I called to make a dual appointment for us. My husband has weird toenails. After Amy finished with him, he came out relaxed and his feet look great. Lang did such a great pedicure for me that the inflammation in my leg is the lowest it's been since I injured my foot. (smiley face) Such a great experience. So glad we came here. First time at Modern Nails, but DEFINITELY not the last!

My 1st experience getting dip nails & they turned out amazing! I saw a picture of pink & white ombré nails on Pinterest & they exactly matched the look I wanted
Also, spent a ton of time on my pedicure. The sweetest people too. Will definitely be back!

Looked up reviews on this location and the 1st one that came up mentioned being a walk in so I thought I'd check them out. As I walked in, I was not greeted, just looked at. I then asked about a getting a pedicure and I was told, it's just two people. The gentlemen proceeded to tell me, all of "there customers" make appointments. I was never asked if I would like to make an appointment to come in at another time. They should also maybe consider taking walk-ins off thier door.

Today I was at the shop getting my nails done. Yes the lady came in and ask to get her nails done. One correction both Amy and Lang ask her if she wanted to make an appointment. Maybe she didn't hear them At no time would they ever treat someone in a rude manner that's not in their character. Very professional atmosphere. Please put sign on door (Appointment needed)

I have been going Modern Nails for over a year now and have never had a bad experience. The salon is always clean and the service is fantastic. They are very busy so be sure to make an appointment. Highly recommend!

Wish I could actually rate their services but twice I've been turned away saying they were too busy. No offer to make an appointment either just oh we're really busy right now. The first time there was one person in the salon and today 2 people but they were too busy to help me. Got it. It was definitely me they were too busy to help not too busy period.

First time and I’m so glad I stopped by! Great experience, I called ahead and they told me it would be a 30 min wait. When I arrived (20 min early) they greeted me by my name and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I arrived when all technicians were busy with clients but they were super attentive. I loved that they put acetone on my nails while I waited (needed to remove old gel). Amy was sweet, took her time, and did an amazing job with my French manicure. I will definitely be coming back

It is clear to see after only coming a few times that they take pride in their work. They are very thorough and detail oriented. Only a husband and wife at the moment so make sure to book an appointment to prevent wait times.
