Took over 3 hours to get me and my girl done for no reason when we had an appointment and they were slow, my toe nails look terrible and have no clear on them and my hands are still dirty

June 1,2023, my birthday was my first time visiting this place. It was clean & appealing to the eyes. However, by June 4th, my gel nails looked like the picture & because I work 12 hours a day today, June 10th was the first chance that I had to come in.
I was hoping to get at least new polish (same color) & if not, at least correct the damaged nails. Instead of them fixing my nails as a courtesy, they said no, that it had to be within 3 days & I should've called. He suggested dip instead of gel & said that he would take $20 off. Mind you, I spent $130.00 in there that day! My nails should not look this bad so soon. Maybe it was just the polish, but I feel as if SOMEBODY could've extended courtesy at least once. I can see if it was just one nail. I'm just showing 1 hand at that. From here on out, they need to inform their customers of their "policy" so that they wouldn't have to experience what I did.a waste of money & time.
Unfortunately, I won't be returning!

Everything was great except the $8 upcharge that they claimed they shaped my nails to almond shape, I know what almond shaped nails are and mine shaped round. I should not have gotten an upcharge for round nails. I also did not like that they did not top my nails with gel after dip. I've been getting dip nails for quite sometime and they always do a coat of clear gel and cure it. I'm concerned about the longevity. Nails look great, but the shape upcharge was unnecessary for simple round nails with no point.

I got dip powder done here about a month ago. The girl doing my nails did a good job, but my nails started to chip within a week of having them done. This was upsetting bc dip is expected to last a few weeks before chipping. Would maybe go back again, since they looked great while they lasted, but fingers crossed they won't chip so soon again after spending $50+ on a manicure!

They charged me 50 dollars for an acrylic fill. 30 for the fill 15 for polish and 8 dollars for almond shape. When they were almond shaped when i went i. Won't be back.

This is probably the worst experience I’ve had coming here. Definitely do not recommend wasting your time or money!

Terrible experience- worst pedicure. Cut my cuticles, really bad paint job and charged me to remove gel polish. I’d understand that but it was half of four toes. I could’ve peeled it off in the 40 minutes I sat in the chair waiting on service.

Rep was great, he took his time, and made sure what I exactly wanted. He had conversations with me, that was the best part, he talked like I was a human being. Thank You, I will continue to come back.

Such a good job! Really happy with the the time they took in removing the old dip before doing my new color. My nails were soaked off rather than filed off, so no damage to natural nail bed! Also, offered a glass of champagne while having nails done and got to pick from brand new colors that had just come in, so I was the first to use the particular red I picked out! Henry was awesome, attention to detail and very neat. Will be going back! Five stars!

Well in all honesty my very first experience was awesome my second time going was ok but due to the young lady no longer working there that made my experience awesome my first visit I was kinda disappointed that I had to try another tech but Hannah did well ok here’s my issue my 3rd visit Hannah was no longer with company I’m like that’s 2 ppl that I really liked gone therefore I had to experience with yet another tech this time he did pretty good but my nails didn’t even last a week I went back in to have a nail repaired and showed the manager how all my nails were lifting and it hadn’t even been a week she didn’t offer to accommodate me in any way all she said was next time let them know I didn’t want him to do my nails I am very disappointed and I won’t ever return I pay anyway from 100-125 to get my nails done that’s not including my feet for my nails to start lifting in a week that’s unacceptable Kimberly that does my feet is awesome and I’m definitely going to miss her but I dare not return I was very disappointed with management and the way she handled my situation “she did assure me that oh we have to charge you for that’ my nail repair and my cut down that I wanted after my nails were lifting I said ma’am the money is not the issue but your techs work is

Amy and Kim are a great team for me! I was in and out and my nails and toes are beautiful.

Well, this was my first and last time ever getting a pedi or mani. My big toe has a fungal infection. I got it totally inflamed less than 48 hours. Waiting on my doctor to call me back now! Totally sucks!

Don’t bother making an appointment with these people. They do not value your time. We waited 40 minutes, with my feet in lukewarm water, and never got service. Had to ask for towels so we could dry our feet off and leave. What an absolute waste of my day.

I had the most amazing experience here, very professional and clean. The place is so glamorous and bright! They are the best in Charleston. Come check them out!

I have been going to Luxia for four years now. This will definitely be my last experience there. I came in today to get a dip manicure and a gel pedicure as I normally would. I was placed with a technician by the name of Tommy to do my pedicure.he had the drill so high that it burned me, nicked, my cuticles, and left permanent groves in my toenails. When I asked him to stop, he made a joke, saying oh sorry, sorry. He kept touching my toenails to see if they were sensitive and I explained to him multiple times that they were. I am extremely disappointed in the new management, for she acted as if nothing was wrong. I was not even able to walk in my shoes after the service. I’m extremely disappointed in saddened by this experience. I was not able to walk in my shoes after the service. I’m extremely disappointed and saddened by this experience. I will not be returning back to Luxia Nail Spa.

Shout out to Sonia, I appreciate her help with my teen picking a design and nail color combo. Sonia was very helpful, patient and also thoughtful as she explained pricing to us as my daughter’s request added up.
Building was clean, bathroom stocked, we were able to make an appointment in a timely manner and Sonia also had very good communication skills over the phone.

I love Luxia! I am a retired nail tech, and the nail salon is very clean, and the techs are always professional. I have been going there for three years and always go to Amy. I have had pedicures and dip and acrylic and it always looks professional. I have worn my nails short and I have had them long but they always look wonderful. It might be expensive but is definitely worth it. You get what you pay for!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’ve been going to Luxia since it opened! I shocked myself when I realized I haven’t given them the fantastic review that they TRULY deserve. I wanted to express how much these nail techs care about quality service, response time, and overall customer care. Every time I walk in, I feel as if I’m actually welcome, and not every nail spa greets people the same way! The cleanliness is also phenomenal. Every time I leave with my nails done, I feel as if I just took a shot of serotonin! I’ve used Luxia as my only nail option for the past 3 years, and have never run into an issue. HIGHLY recommend!
