Worst dinner of my life! Ordered a steak well done. Had to send it back twice. After the 3rd time I told the manager I didn’t want it. In the middle of me telling him he walked Away from the table! DONT EAT HERE!
Food and service was very good. Store was very busy and our wait was longer then estimated due to holiday traffic. Also ran out of some dude dishes due to the same. But overall my fav restaurant in town so you take the good with the not so good. Especially love the salads and western shrimp appetizer. At. 25 per glass to make, tea is over priced at $3.39 per.
Always a treat coming to LHS. Service and ambiance is excellent. Food is very good. I made a mistake of trying something different; didn't meet my expectation. Next time, I'll order my usual.
Went to dinner tonight, the wait was minimal for a Saturday night. Our server was Kalynn, who was so calm and patient. Her knowledge of the menu made it so easy to order, as there were no hesitations with any questions we had. The food was hot and served in a really timely manner. One of our steaks were a little more underdone than we preferred, and Lindsey (the Manager) had no problem making sure it was heated to our liking. Our experience overall was awesome. When you go in for dinner, make sure to ask for Kalynn.
We’ve really enjoyed this Longhorn in the past, but yesterday not at all. We decided to go around 4pm. They were not busy, but we were seated in a less desirable area in the back. Our salads had so much dressing that the bottom half was swimming in it. My medium well 12 oz sirloin came out in a very thick round “ball” and was rare. One of the employees noticed and took it back to “make it less pink. ” My husband’s NY Strip was tough on one side. As someone else mentioned, the music was super loud. The worst part was that I was sick for awhile after I got home. I’m glad we didn’t have far to go to get home. Correction: my sirloin was an 8 oz.
Decided I wanted something to eat today! Ordered my appetizer it came out in a timely manner and was fresh and delicious however when my main course arrived it had a string of hair attached to my chicken! The food runner noticed it as she was placing it down and took the food back for a remake! 30 minutes later no replacement order! A while later my food arrived by another server I informed him of the situation and he went and spoke with the manager who came to my table with a very nonchalant attitude! I informed the manager of the situation and he was confused as to what the problem was! I asked for the meal to be taken off my bill and to place a Togo order! 5 minutes later my server returns with the check at this point I’m upset and still hungry! This place needs to teach people about customer service because food is to expensive for unfortunate things of this nature! I recommend a new manager please or some serious training
My parents were in from out of town for the holiday and we showed for call ahead seating for dinner at 4pm for 8 people. 2 of our diners could not leave work at that time so the party ended up being 6 - 4 adults and 2 children. There was no wait at the entrance, the parking lot was a quarter full and the maitre de stuffed all six of us into a booth meant for 3 people (at the most) at the back of the restaurant directly in front of the bathroom entrance. We ordered two starters and there wasn't even enough room for the hors d'oeuvres and bread on the table - had to use the ancillary top booth area to store food items and drinks. The food was good but the whole experience was ruined by the tiny booth and lack of room. I wanted to ask for a different table but was embarrassed in front of my parents.
Our rib eye was cooked to perfection and crusted with black pepper, which is how I like it. The sweet potato was delicious and the asparagus still crisp. The quality of the food was good not a-1 but good, which is great for these times. The only thing better than the food was the service. However, be prepared to order Ala Carter, the cost can add up quick.
Rebecca was our waitress. She is absolutely wonderful. My husband loves the meal with Flo's 7oz steak and a lobster tail with a baked potato and a cup of the French onion soup. I tried the Redrock grilled shrimp with rice, steamed broccoli, and the signature salad strawberry and pecan salad. This is my favorite salad with the raspberry vinaigrette. Everything is cooked to perfection and very tasty. Rebecca was very attentive and delightful, very professional. I highly recommend the Longhorn restaurant and commend Rebecca.job well done.
Bartender Kim was good but the food.steak over cooked with too much seasoning as well as a little tough the lobster tail was not good disguised with too much seasoning again. The house salad wasn't even good. Maybe a off night on a Tuesday?
I eat here a lot. I like the steak salad and that's about all that is good. I really love steak in general but the cooks here don't know the difference between medium rare and well done. And I got tired of paying 20+ dollars for an incorrectly grilled steak at a STEAKHOUSE! I always feel really bad telling the waitstaff that they overcooked it too. They have enough to deal with. Oh, and their bathroom has not been updated lately and never feels clean. Think gas station bathroom. I have also gotten To Go from here. They are slow and I swear the portions are smaller than if you Dine In.
This is our favorite Rock Hill restaurant. The steaks are perfection, the salads are fresh and attractive, the sides are delicious, and the service is excellent!
Service was poor and the food was even worse. I ordered steak medium well done and lobster the steak was dry and red in the middle with no seasoning at all and my lobster was over cooked with no hot butter served with it! Our silverware was dirty! The waiter was nice but we had to wait so long to report the issues bc she took forever to come back around. We spoke with manager and he apologized but we could tell he really didn’t care. We didn’t want a free meal just a hot good meal. Am so done with Longhorn! No excuses for being busy with no help they had plenty of staff standing around on their phones and restaurant was hardly full!
Steak and sides were great, loved the spices fried shrimp appetizer. Lobster tail was a little chewy, but good flavor and not fishy. Thought the steakhouse Mac was a little too salty, but good flavor with the breadcrumbs, if I had to guess it was tasted and salted without the salty toppings.
Can someone please tell me where this is a filet? Looks and tasted like a sirloin to me. Won’t be back to LongHorn Steakhouse again. I told the waitress and she tried to argue, said she would look into it, and still brought the check out as is. Would have asked for a manager but as slow as the service was, I would have been there an extra hour. Dry sirloin and charged for a flos filet.
So glad we picked this place for dinner. Was craving steak and my husband and I both got a steak and shrimp combination that included a salad and additional side. Ate at the bar and the server there was great and so helpful.would definitely come here again.
Excellent food. Exactly the level of quality and service that you would expect at a steak house. My favorite: Parmesan Crusted Chicken - always cooked to perfection.
We went with a group of 12 and the lady that I believe was a manager made a hateful remark about it being a large group. We went at 4pm to be between lunch and dinner rush. They were under staffed and it took a while for the servers to decide who was even going to take our table. 30 minutes in just to get drinks. They didn't take away dirty bread plates to make room for the meal even after we asked nicely. Several steaks were under cooked and the waiter had 1 lady put her steak on a napkin so he could "go throw it back on the heat". 2 children were with us and the parents asked for crayons so the kids could draw on the game placemat and they tossed crayons at them rolled up with their silverware. We stayed out of drink most of the time and if asked for anything it seemed like it was an inconvenience to him.
The waiter told a table of 2 beside us that he apologized for the delay but the big table was needy.
I will not go back to that location. We were there for almost 3 hours. We enjoyed time with our friends but next time we will pick a different place.
What can I say it was a great place with a great atmosphere There were three waitresses I'm sorry they were just dropped dead gorgeous that always makes it worthwhile
We were so impressed with Grey, who took excellent care of us. I flew in from Houston to visit. My sister, brother-in-law and I chose LongHorn for a Heavenly Birthday celebration in honor of Dad. He would have been 91, but passed away on June 13th. Dad always had a steak on his birthday. Our food was wonderful and "cutting up" with Grey just made the whole experience more enjoyable.
Group of 7 of us went there to eat the waitress was great no issues with her at all, but 5 of the 7 meals that were brought out was wrong, the 2 that were right was a kid's meal and a salad. How can the kitchen screw up that bad.
I’ve been there a lot of times but last time wasn’t that good. The guy seated us right beside a old sick lady that was barely breathing, everyone could see she was sick and most important thing there was a lot of tables available but he seated us right beside her. Now we’re at home for the quarantine because we were tested positive for COVID 19. I don’t know if they can or can’t but this kind of people can not be allowed to dine in. My 20 month’s daughter also is infected but she wasn’t with us that day. It was las Friday aug/13/2021. We also asked to be moved to another table but he moved us to a table in front of the sick lady.
My food was not cooked as ordered and we waited about 45 minutes for our food. I didn't send food back because we didn't want to wait again. I just boxed it up and brought it home. They were out of steak sauce, a steak house with no steak sauce.
Had dinner at the bar tonight, bar staff was wonderful and very nice ms. Leslea took great care of me. And was a treat to be in her presence like breaking dawn. And the food was good to.
Had an excellent experience, from top to bottom. Hosting was good, Our server Grey was fantastic, friendly and comical. Steaks were cooked correctly, perfect, filet fell apart without a knife. Went out of my way to compliment the manager, I’m sure she doesn’t always get called over for a Good Review. 07-17-21 @ 5: 30pm
