Lizard's Thicket Restaurant

Um.what's going on with the pot roast that's supposedly cooked fresh on Sundays? No gravy? It tasted just how it looks. I used the flash for the pic smh. Y'all shorted my Mac n cheese last month, and a year ago my sons fried chicken leg still had blood in it! SO NOW I HAVE TO DRIVE FURTHER OUT for decent food!

Tonight was our second time eating here! Our waitress Tiffany was above and beyond perfect both times.

She made sure we had everything we needed, and all of our food came out quickly. It was exactly how we ordered and she stayed on top of our drinks. Never once did any of us have to ask for extra drinks. Once they reached half empty she was right on top of getting another.

My family goes to dinner often and she has been by far the best waitress we have had in a very very long time. With hopes that someone working there will see this review — she deserves a compliment for her service provided.

We will be back again! Until next time.

I was fortunate to meet a young man by the name of Eddie who is usually at your window. He is a joy an absolute joy to see and speak with. I would suggest hiring more people like him because if his positive pleasant attitude. Honestly it is extremely refreshing in today’s atmosphere. Thank you Irmo lizards thicket

Normally stop meet up with some of the family when I can my aunt and my uncle and my mother enjoy stopping by there a couple times a week

Visiting from California and this restaurant served great food. Grits were good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Clean restaurant.

At the Harbison location, I had flies in my iced tea and it was a mortifying experience. I will NEVER return to that restaurant.

The staff here was outstanding, and the food was really good, it was hot and tasted fresh. Highly recommend this location

Food was awesome. I loved my flounder with squash casserole and green beans! People are very nice here and they give great service.

Not sure what is happening with my favorite of all time breakfast joint, but the quality of the food seems to have gone down while the cost has gone up. Granted we all know consumer prices have skyrocketed but when 1 meat and three vegetables is $10 and it cost more for the beef stew you, the restaurant, best be bring their "A" game. Now, let's talk about Home Fries, don't bother with them, they are like small square blocks of wood and cold. Consistency and Courtesy the two hallmarks of Lizard's Thicket are no longer their strong points. Managers, don't even jump in and help out like the used to. Wait staff seems overwhelmed. Have they lost that loving feeling?

Once a Great Tradition in Columbia, its to the point where if you Call in a Take Out order, Lizards Thicket wants to Know why you don't just go through the drive through.

Super friendly folks and lots of old fashioned favorites. To me.the sides are the star of the show. Portions are so big! I would come again when passing through.

That guy named Eddie needs to be manager if he isn’t already! He sure knows how to treat his costumers and makes sure everyone is taken good care of!

The home cooking was delicious. I got turkey and dressing with 3 vegetables. The waitress was very helpful and new the menu well.

I waited 25 minutes in the drive thru don't know what was going on. The food was not good at all. The food was bland it had no seasoning at all, just an all around bad experience.

Great experience from Lizard's Thicket of Irmo this evening. Eddie worked the drive through window and provided personable and friendly service. He asked to see my ID when he read the note on the back of my debit card. I really appreciate that.

Today we stopped by on the 4th of July and Mr. Eddie had the pleasure of serving us at the drive through. I Myself are in sales as well have worked in the restaurant industry and I can personally say that there is NO possible way I would be in a good mood working in a HOLIDAY.well Mr. Eddie was. He gave us the best customer service I have ever experienced as well as actually had a genuine conversation with us that just made the overall experience great. In my opinion Mr. Eddie deserves a HUGE thanks from you guys. I hope he sees this.

Food was cold! I had the waitress take back a portion of my food for it to be replaced with hot food and when she came out it was still cold.

Usually always friendly and delicious. Today however I ordered the turkey and dressing no gravy.my meal came covered in gravy, so I asked them to remake it. Togo girl brought it back to me and I didn't pay attention til I got home. There was turkey skin and what appeared to be rinsed off turkey.water all in the bottom of the turkey. Needless to say I just ate the sides.

I have not been to a Lizard's Thicket in quite a while. They have added a "Small Plate" option to the menu that offers one meat and two vegetables. I got the beef stew with creamed corn and candied yams. Delicious and the perfect lunch sized portion. The plate also comes with cornbread or roll. The only reason I didn't give five stars is my waitress didn't bring the cornbread with the meal, came back and said she would bring it, then never did. She basically disappeared and never brought my ticket either. The cashier was very sweet and found my ticket so I was able to check out. I am not sure what happened. The waitress was very good up to the point she disappeared. Maybe she wasn't feeling well? Who knows? Anyway, just a minor glitch and not one that would keep me from going back. Overall, definitely recommend.

Bought a salad that was half washed and iceberg lettuce was turning brown. This is the second time this has happened in the last year.

I have NEVER been through a slower drive thru just to be told they don't even have french fries. This place needs to call Chick-fil-a and beg for some advice because if this is normal I have a hard time believing this place isn't loosing customers by the day.

This place is terrible went to enjoy nice breakfast for mother's day.waited 30 minutes and still not seated.plenty of open tables they were just not cleaned. Kitchen staff was struggling seemed to get orders wrong

We have never been to this restaurant before. The waitress brought out waters and there was dirt floating in all of them. If I can't get simple clean water then I didn't expect clean food and dishes so my family and I walked out and will never return.
