La Poblanita Mexican Restaurant

Very cool little permanent food truck next to a great hispanic market. I had three different tacos, my wife had a quesadilla, all were great. Lots of different hot sauces to choose from, and be careful, some are HOT! Just realize, they only give you the tortillas and meat at the indow on the left, you have to go to the window on the right to put all your toppings and sauces on. The market itself has a ton of stuff you won't find in a regular grocery store.

The people who are working at the cashier do not serve well, they have a bad attitude, they fight with the other workers and the people never tend to go there

Delicious soups. This my one reson for going here to eat. I also found food market had food supplies from Jamaica, Guyana and more. My new favorite store.

Amazing outdoor food/taco stand - and this is coming from someone who lives in Texas! I have VERY high (ok, maybe too high & quasi unrealistic) standards for my tacos and there is literally no other place in Bluffton/HHI that even comes close to how good and authentic this was!

Ordered at the window (2x pastor, 1x camaron/shrimp, 1x passion fruit agua fresca) and it was ready less than ten mins later. Pretty efficient set up with the stand prepping the meats/tortillas and a help-yourself salsa bar to the far right that has all the missing elements (cilantro, onion, pickled onion, cabbage, radishes, peppers, salsa). Highly recommend the pastor/shrimp tacos and the green salsa (perfect level of spice) and the passion fruit agua tasted sooo fresh. This honestly tasted almost identical to the tacos I had in Mexico, minus the 25c.price tag (can’t have it all, I guess).

If you are a Mexican food fan, this place is a must try. However… wouldn’t recommend it to the individuals out there who think black pepper is “too hot” or those that put pre-shredded American cheese on their tacos.

We were starving and even though they were closed for a Private party they were still willing to serve food. Which was absolutely delicious and very reasonably price will definitely eat here again.

Not sure how I missed this after driving by every Monday for the last 10 years. Coming from a Westerner with a taco problem, this place holds up to the best in LA or San Diego.

Want to visit beautiful, welcoming, small towns in Mexico? No need to dive that far. This is my favorite restaurant with a contiguous food store. The menu includes all authentic dishes from ceviches to jugo de mango. Sit on stumps of wood. Spanish not required. You will NOT forget it!

The food was excellent and well-priced, and the Manager/Bartender who took care of us was wonderful. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area!

I gave 2 stars because the waitress was rude and rarely checked on us. I almost had to get up and order things from the bar. My fish tacos were just ok. Dont think ill be going back here.

We had a burn for some Mexican food yesterday. After a search of several area restaurants we chose this one. We had the Azteca Burrito and Chili Rellenos entree dishes. They were both awesome. We'll be back when we are in the neighborhood.

Hands down the most authentic Mexican in Bluffton. I can't wait to bring my Texas amigos to join me!

We ate at the outdoor food truck and I can't wait to come back! I want to make special trips with visiting family to eat here. I wish I lived closer. The green sauce - oh my goodness. I'll take some to go. All of it was SO very good. Thank you!

If you are looking for burritos or chimichangas this is not the place.they serve real Mexican food that is just Amazing.

I love the Las Pas steak and any of the tacos are an excellent choice although, I've been through about had the menu and so far everything has been hot fresh and fast.

If you want bland food and little ambiance this is your place. It is off the main road so not easy to find and the parking was limited. We had beef tacos and a burrito which all had little seasoning. The chips appeared to be store bought but the salsa was pretty good. Although our total bill was not bad at all we thought a lot of the entree prices were higher that what we experienced at other area Mexican restaurants. Wait staff was friendly.

Excellent flavors. Great tasting pork dish that comes grilled in a cored out pineapple. Menu has beautiful pictures that make you want to try every item! Chips and sala as well as margaritas are a must. Great service.

Very limited menu. Food was okay but the place was pretty barren in terms of ambience. Service was hampered by language barriers. No beverage other than alcohol or soft drinks.

I have found my new spot for Mexican food. The service was friendly the food came out fast it was hot and amazing their chips and salsa our spot on this is where I will go from now on. Even though the waiter didn't speak very good English he took care of me and my fiance and all he had to do was ask if we were okay

Unfortunately LaPoblanita does not pass the test of serving good, edible food for me. In Mexico it is totally possible to have a great meal, while enjoying a host of offerings that are not spicy, if desired. I cannot tolerate "spicey" food and told my waitress this fact. The hot peppers were left off my chicken tacos, however the chicken pieces, seeming pre-cut, were covered with pepper. My tounge and esophagus were burning. I could not eat these tacos. I wanted an order of guacamole for one, which is offered on the menu, but was told it was pre-made and also made with pepper. I did not order that dish.
Then, there was a singer or "screamer" really, who gave 6 of us a headache. We don't speak or understand Spanish, so that made his "noise", seemingly at full blast while performing 2 tables away from us - worse.
He had a sparse group of people in our room partake in Kereoke, and again their "screaming", not singing, was also only in Spanish and off key, even for talking/"singing".
This was not in any way - an enjoyable experience for any of the 6 of us in any way.

Authentic Mexican restaurant with fantastic food. Not your normal commercialized Mexican restaurant, but instead one offering up true Mexican cuisine. You won't be disappointed

The atmosphere is Mexico authentic and the staff was wonderful struggling with English at times. I ordered enchiladas with red sauce on the side and my wife ordered burritos. The manager talked to us and valued our opinion.
It definitely is a nice destination for a good meal at a descent price.

This was our first visit to La Poblanita in Bluffton.
The atmosphere is simple yet quaint, beautiful colors well designed. Soon as we arrived greeted with a very warm and welcoming feeling.
Service was exceptional. All staff members were attentive and genuinely concerned with our needs and seemed to be proud of their restaurant. Wonderful teamwork. Our server was Carla, she was limited in her English skills yet she made our whole experience memorable.
The food: I must begin by saying we are not familiar with true "authentic Mexican" food which this is. All seemed to be well made yet much of it did not suit our taste. I had fajitas which were the best I have ever had.
Bottom line being. We are looking forward to returning to learn more about a different culture.

Explendid place! Very welcoming from the moment you pull that door to go inside to the moment they hand you the check. The waitress was very polite, attentive and very knowledgeable regarding the menu. She made various recommendations based on previous costumers favorites. The "aguas frescas" were authentic, my husband had the passion fruit one, my brother the horchata and I the Jamaica and we were very content with them. We decided to share the poblanita tacos (12 of them for $35) they were all mixed; tacos al pastor, chicken, carnitas 'braising pork', carne asada 'beef' and chorizo. The guacamole was also great & freshly made. I definitely reccomend 'La Poblanita' and I will be going there next time to try more items off their menu!

The food here was the best I have had in this area! The freshness of the food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. The Tacos El Presidente and chips and sauca was fresh and delicious
I will be going here again and thank you to our Friend Helder for taking me and my wife there for lunch today

Very nice inside. The food is a step above and quite good. Friendly service and reasonable prices, just turn down the music a wee little bit.

We ordered two plates of the same food and they only gave us one plate. I also said "Can I have a coke" But they ended up giving me diet coke.
