Johns Island Nail

I hate writing bad reviews! Terrible customer service! Very very rude and not welcoming at all! Please don’t support…. They don’t want our services! I can’t believe johns island nail is still open after all the complaints!

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail shop. The older woman was very rude & prejudice I believe I never felt so uncomfortable & talked down to. She did what she wanted to do & not what I wanted. I was the only black person in there so I didn't want to cause a seen because I didn't want to be labeled as the angry black woman!
Then when she was done she told me to go home like I was a child. I don't even want to go to another nail shop ever again!

Vee and Annie are amazing! I have been enjoying their services for ten years! Followed them from James Island to Johns Island because of superb customer service & gorgeous nails!

DO NOT GO HERE! Absolutely horrific experience. I can’t put to words how bad this place is. I came here to see if they could fix 2 nails for me because I have a photoshoot the day before and can’t have broken nails. Walk in and I am greeted with hostility. This is my first time ever reviewing a place, which says a whole lot. The lady grabbed my hands, forcefully and aggressively moved them around. She applied the plastic acrylic tip and did not care to look at the length or style they should be. She cut me with the electric shaver. I also did not see a single cosmetology licensee in the building. Will never go back. I left before she could even finish. It was that bad.

The place is clean. The staff is friendly. The prices are fair. I've never waited more than 5 minutes. Great place.

If, 'you like crystal gel', this family will give this and more. Great place to relax and have fun. Great sense of humor with this group. Awesome skills! Love them! Very affordable!

I have been going to Annie and Ken for over 25 yrs. When they moved I had to track them down where I located them on Johns Island. I was so glad because I really trust the two of them to do my pedicures and manicures. They are such kind and sweet people and their shop is always clean and I highly recommend them if you live on Johns Island or even in town like me give them a try

I called and made an apt with them for me and my daughter to get our nails done. I told them we wanted gel nails done n we would need fake nails put on. I was told to come in at 2: 30 and they would take care of me n my daughter. We got there and was told that they can do us one at a time due to only one person can do the fake nails with gel. How do you only have one person there who can only do the acrylic nails. I will be going some where else for now on

Wish I had read reviews before I went, was in the area decided what the heck was going to treat myself. Worst mistake I made. Gel manicure peeled right off within in days. Never had this happened before.

Just stopped by for a quick drop in and they were not only able to accommodate me immediately, but were sensitive to my timing while also doing a WONDERFUL pedicure. Much detail provided to each nail- I absolutely LOVE it! Thanks so much!

Johns Island Nails on Maybank Highway on Johns Island is a great place to go for nails related services. The staff here is very friendly and professional and works hard to make sure that you are taken care of and that the job gets done well. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here and they make your nails look good.

I was visiting in the area and found this place. The older man who did mine was very nice, wasn’t rough, and did a great job. The lady who did my daughters did a good job, but wasn’t friendly. Prices were good. I’ll return.

They charge certain people what they want to charge. Not worth the money. Don't have a price sheet up because they are cheating people. Always have to wait for hours. Poor service and not friendly at all.

I’ve been to JI nails several times. I always get a pedicure and never make an appointment. They have good hours and the wait is never too long. Everyone is friendly, the prices are good, and my pedicures last for a long time. I Greatly appreciate that they are near near my home and will continue to frequent and support their small business.

I would give 5 stars if this place did more with nails. Only one color no designs. After a few trips here you leave with somewhat boring nails.

Visited here Friday 5/24.had an appointment for 12pm. Got here at 1145 didn't sit in the chair until 1215 to get my nails wrapped. There were only 3 ppl doing nails and about 6 ppl waiting. Finally at around 1pm I received my service. No apology! No nothing for waiting! Left here at around 2pm. Ok let's fast forward.saturday 5/25. I experienced a crack nail. Today 5/29. I now have 4 cracked chipped nails.not too mention, it's lumpy. I always get SNS POWDER. This should have NEVER happened! I went here for convenience of the island. Welp! Bad mistake! Ill continue going off the island to spend my money in West Ashley.
