Joe's Crab Shack

My wife and I went there for lunch on Christmas day. We were seated quickly and our waiter was Jesse. He was great. Answered our questions, checked on us regularly, and genuinely cared about us. Wife had King Classic and I had the Queen Steampot - both meals were excellent. Only concern was that when I ordered some raw oysters, which were good, but they had no saltine crackers only oyster crackers that one uses for soup. Overall great experience.

The menu has not changed for the better. This used to be a must stop when in Myrtle Beach because of consistency and steampot offerings.

Flavors were off and the crab legs and lobster claws were old. Corn cooked separately with no flavor. No potatoes at all. They did not have any beers on tap. Highly disappointed. Even though it was the holiday, crowd was almost non-existent. Waiter did his best, but will find other options on visit to MB.

Dip was good, but a little watery. Food was on point! Tko was delicious! Love Joe's Crab Shack!

Drink was sad. 13 dollars for a Jamaican me happy and I don't feel a thing. Shrimp boil for happy hour was terrible. It was like they put it in hot water then on a plate. Refused to pay. I expected way more from Joes.

This restaurant will serve you spoiled crab and refuse to take it off the bill.
Sat at the table for 30+ minutes after the fact to even get the bill. Will NOT be returning after two crab buckets came out spoiled and had to argue with management to get it taken off.

We went here for Thanksgiving Dinner. Everyplace else was booked, but Joe’s offered turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, etc. The price was reasonable. The food was actually good, as was the service. I’d eat here again, maybe seafood next time!

I ate at Joe’s for dinner and it was amazing! It was my first time and my son had a blast. The service was great and the food was delightful! I had a Classic Steampot and my son had King Crab and loved it. The service was quick and they were so kind. I loved the decorative atmosphere and so did my son. We will definitely be back for more fun.

My family had lunch at Joe’s today, service was great. I had a classic king crab and it was delicious. We’ll be back soon!

My wife and I stopped here on a quick visit to Myrtle Beach. While the food and service were good, the prices were ridiculous. We both ordered the fish and chip entrees with sweet tea and a lemonade. FOUR DOLLARS A PIECE for sweet tea and lemonade and SEVENTEEN DOLLARS, not including taxes, for the fish equivalent of chicken tenders with fries. Unreal. It's absolutely unreal.

Pre pandemic price of these items was 12.29 per entree for fish and chips (this figure was pulled from a fort Lauderdale menu that closed during the pandemic).

Ordered lobster, was so Salty was not good
Waitress was lovely and brought me another but it really was not any better. Really annoyed paid 70.00 for an awful meal.

Excellent service and good food. Brianna was our server and she was very pleasant. I ordered lobster tails.

We ended up not eating here cause the menu just seemed boring.lots of premade shrimp stuff. Our waiter was terrific however. Brought us water and was very gracious.

Come on Joe’s Crab Shack.it ok to add seasoning to your food! The service was ok… he seemed more interested in giving us the bill, than making sure the service was good!

Absolutely phenomenal birthday experience. Came to dinner with my son and we’re greeted and seated promptly. The crab dip from the sampler was hot and absolutely delicious, and the shrimp sampler entree was just as amazing. Highly recommend soaking the jasmine rice in the scampi sauce for extra yum!
We were then greeted by Chef Elias and manager Alina & the General Manger Anne who helped lead the team and restaurant in a birthday cheer to celebrate my 80th.

The crab was def overcooked and small for the market price. Staff looked busy but were mostly efficient with my service. Would definitely chose another stop before visiting again.

Food is OK a Lil over priced, but it is at a nice location. It's hard to screw up fried food so I judge everything by the Cole slaw and the hush puppies.so the coleslaw not very creamy and bland the hush puppies were very dried and over fried. Service was on point!
