Homeless dude was having a very outthere conversation with himself. Takeout only but food was So Good. And service was exceptional.

Waitress was nice. Got my order wrong but corrected it in good time. Food was awful, man. My hash browns tasted old and felt like I was chewing plastic. Bathrooms were dirty.

Was waiting for over 10mins until I left. They seen me waiting and not a person came to me to ask to be seated or if I needed a Togo order. Horrible service. Will not be come here and I will let family and friends know as well. I'm rating this place a -5/10 do better.

This place is so unclean, unorganized, and poorly ran. The food took 1 hour to come out, we waited 15 minutes before being greeted, and the service was horrible. Blonde server didn’t say any words, very short and rude. Checked on us maybe 3 times the whole 2 hours we were here. Bugs crawled on our food we didn’t even want it anymore. The cups were dirty, and we got served plastic silverware. The food was average at best, and the service was not worth the price or experience. Don’t waste your gas making a trip here. Waited 30 minutes after getting our ticket for waitress to come close out our tab. Ridiculous. Needs better staff.

I did an online order which is so convenient for mornings when I don’t want to cook but everyone is looking at me for a full breakfast…I ordered the steak tips combo, my husband ordered an omelette and I had two kids meals. I also ordered drinks such as coffee, the new mango drink and an apple juice.

Since they deliver through DoorDash, I have to talk to them about that part but as far as my order, my steak tips tasted off and I got sick, no I did not eat all of it I threw it away when I noticed it was not me. I even had to throw the hashbrowns and eggs away because it was all together. My kids had to share one kids meal because they did not put both in the bag. And they gave coffee with no cream or sugar….

I have been calling and calling to get a refund on the other kids meal but nobody is answering the phone.

We are regular ihop goers. We go every two weeks almost so this was VERY unpleasant. For good service and good pick up, go to St Andrews! Avoid this one at all cost! And DONT GET THE STEAK TIPS still sick from it

Having to fight gnats, smells, sticky seats, and sticky tables dampened what would’ve otherwise been a good dining experience.

I placed an order online for Two Notch road but the online system placed it at this location (Assembly St). It wasn't their fault but I tried to call to cancel but kept getting a busy signal. I drove there and got the food right away and they told me they don't have a phone which crazy. No phone! The blueberries were rotten on my crepes. See photo

We came into the restaurant to an empty building (no guests). We ordered our food one person at a time with four kids. 3 out of 6 orders were correct and the server/hostess (same person) had a negative energy about her to where we didn’t even want to ask for the food to be corrected. The server only gave our party of six 3 menus and 3 bundles of silverware. One of my children asked for a refill and the server failed to realize another was in need of a refill. When the other child asked for the refill. The server got a hateful look on her face to where my child felt intimidated and felt bad for asking for another drink. There were other guests that walked in and had no problems with their food or service they were provided. Our service was so bad that my pregnant wife was anxious to leave and on the verge of tears when we walked out the door. We will never return to this establishment or recommend it to anyone. 0/10

I thought I was supposed to get two French toast slices, but maybe not.
The young man with the dreadlocs who took my order was very nice and quick even though it took me some time. They didn't press me for a tip, which surprised me, given American tipping culture. I appreciated that.

I don't know if it's fair because it may be a City of Columbia problem, but I took a star from "atmosphere" because there was an awful sewage smell enveloping the exterior of the restaurant and the parking lot.

They have menu items that I haven't seen before, like salmon and rice, new waffles, and they are advertising their new line of biscuits.

Went in Hostess was nice. Sever was rude and even suggested we go to Waffle House since there Waffle maker was down. Didn't even give us a minute to decide on something else.

This used to be a very good Sunday morning spot for my buddies and I. Now the host is the bussing tables and cooking. I can't even get honey to go with my hot tea. Probably won't be going back there.

I had two meals delivered. One was the berry chicken lettuce salad. The lettuce was old and limp and the chicken consisted of three one inch pieces. The blueberries and strawberries together would fill up a tablespoon. It was an awful salad. The bacon in the other meal was far from crisp but the scrambled eggs were cooked and the hash brown potato piece could have been cooked longer. The only good thing was that the meals arrived on the time they were suppose to.

The restaurant is way under staff. Tables were not getting cleaned up after customers left the restaurant. The bathrooms were dirty and smelled horrible. All the food we ordered did not arrive together. We did not get our toast until the end of our dining. The server was not very friendly and really seemed to be non-interested in giving us good customer service. Overall, I am very unhappy with our dining experience. Worst IHOP I have ever been in.

Asked me to wait 15 minutes for a table for two and after the 15 minutes they simply say they’re only taking TO GO orders. Bad management, never going there again.

Have gone by here tons of nights over the past few years and even though it’s always nearly empty I’ve never been seated in less than 15 minutes. The workers are blatantly expressing that they’d rather you leave than they have to work. This place need a wipeout of staff. They’re losing tons of business and by the horrible reviews on here you can tell there’s a pattern.

Bad experience, the waitress change my order for wherever she wants and don't asked me, the omelet don't have anything inside, poor service I don't recommend this place

ROACHES! Waited 45 minutes to an hour for our food and as we received it, 2 roaches crawled off the plates and across the table. DO NOT GO TO THIS IHOP! The health department is going to be notified.

I like IHOP, but in this instance it was just crazy. My friend just picked me up from the airport and so she took me to IHOP. It was Friday, there were party people on the street and drunk people, whatever having a good time. I felt bad for the IHOP worker because after we got seated which took some time I noticed she was doing like three jobs. She was greeting people and taking them to there seats, then she was taking those same peoples ordered, and delivering the food, not to mention she's bringing drinks while everyone is waiting for their food, and then more people. It was like they were short staff. She never lost her cool or got fluster. It was amazing. I order a sandwich that came with fries, but there wasn't any fries, so I got potatoes, but after some time later I told her to make my order to go.

Poor customer service take forever to be seated, nobody is ever at the front desk when you arrive, and that's the last 5 times I have came, just get ready for alot of time wasted

Well.received half of my order, and my boyfriend got a stem of something in his burger.my food was not cooked thoroughly and i did not receive one of my sides.

I asked if they could make sure the whipped cream is not on my pancakes and it is on the French toast with delivery. She cut me off before I could finish my sentence and said “no mam we are just too damn busy to do special requests”

The pits.sorry I usually don't give bad reviews. BUT there was hardly any one there, I didn't understand why, IHOP is usually pretty good. BUT when we walked in only a handful of people were seated. Most of them still did not have any food. We stood at the "Wait to be seated" sign. No host or hostess.waited.waited.waited.stopped waiting. There seemed to be no hope of getting food in a reasonable amount of time. So we went to Eggs Up Grill on Divine.

The worst customer service ever! Sat for 15mins and no one came to take my order. After my order was taking I sat for another 20mins with nothing to drink. Still setting it’s been close to an hour no food.

Had an excellent experience with our party of 8. Our server brought out our food staggered so it was still hot and fresh. Which our party appreciated being second to last to get my food I was content to see my family enjoying warm food rather than waiting for mine. Great place to catch up with friends and family!

I have to admit IHOP have the best pancakes!
But what about the omelette? Look, I ordered this and my filling was outside of a rolled up egg. Why? Just lazy I guess. Burnt veggies and meat I didn't ask for that. Food is supposed to be a beautiful experience showing the customers you care about what you send out to them. I have yet to give a cook a tip there, because they don't care.

The service was slow and at the their were only two tables being used in the restaurant. An the server didn't know the menu. It took about 40 minutes for four meals. An when we received our food everyone was missing food from their platters. I should've known that we should of turnt around when one of the crew members came back from the store with a beer. An poured it into a clear cup and took it in the restaurant back door. Didn't see any management to assist the two who were working the floor. Will not return but thank you for the good laugh.

Ordered food through delivery, food arrived 40 minutes after they said it would arrive.it arrived with the milkshake being half empty, the cup was literally only up to the half way point while pictures show it should be to the top.an entire meal was missing, three were there but the 4th wasn't at all. The delivery person had to call me that the pancakes I ordered weren't available, not someone who worked at ihop but the delivery guy, and when he arrived with the bags that he was told had everything the pancakes weren't even there.basically got gipped $37ish.

So I'm here right now and have been for more than an hour. Food finally started coming out and so far none of the orders have been right. None of the food is hot. The restaurant is at about 30% capacity. According to a guy in an IHOP short they're short staffed, but this is awful. If you can't handle the customers, don't open the place.

We haven't been to this location in a while. Preferred this location before closing. So, glad it has reopened. We walked right in and was greeted to continue walking for seating! Greeter and waitress didn't know it was our 1st time back in a long time but they provided excellent service as if knowing. It was a "welcome back, we missed you" kind of service. The food was excellent as always before. Thanks for reopening. Welcome Back!

Food was really good and it was clean. Waitress needed to come by more often, drinks were hardly filled. Dishes were not taken when done. Took forever to simple thin gs such as ketchup, sour cream etc.

This place is a joke. You wait for a decade too be seated then you wait for a century for a waiter to take your order. Ours server never showed up so we left. Way too slow.

Terrible customer service along with having to wait 45min-1 hour just to get our food and it was cold, and the worst part is that out waiter had such an attitude and didn't even bring my food another waiter had to for her while she sat on her phone. Definitely not worth the money!

Cost too much for what you get the food wasn't that great got three meals for $79 that's where the five-dollar tip that was for breakfast and reminded me of hospital food a better bet would be waffle House

THIS IS A LONG REVIEW ABOUT THE ASSEMBLY ST LOCATION SO PREPARE YOURSELF. WE ARRIVED AROUND 1 AM SATURDAY MORNING (JULY 17th)
So.to start off, no one would answer the phone. My husband and I tried to call so we would not have to wait in the lobby. So eventually we drove down there. Walked past who happened to be an employee in the parking lot. We found out he was an employee because about 5 mins after we had walked in and was waiting, he greets us and says he will get someone to the front to assist us. A male came out and placed our order. I ordered the spicy poblano omelette combo with an orange juice, a side of sausage gravy and cheese grits instead of hashbrowns. My husband ordered a short stack of pancakes, 4 sausage links, and cheese grits with a sweet tea. It took 33 mins to get our order. To make matters worse, my omelette looked a mess and was missing the avocados (my main reason why this omelette is my favorite) (Compare my picture to the picture of the Spicy Poblano Omelette on their website to see what I mean). My grits were missing the cheese (he did go back and add some cheese). I was told the orange juice was watery, so i chose coke instead. However, the grits were watery as well! And had no flavor AT ALL. I had to add more butter and salt than i usually add to the grits i cook at home, as well as pepper, garlic powder and more cheese to thicken it up. The omelette was not spicy, not in the slightest bit so i had to add a good bit of hot sauce. My husband's grits were watery and bland as well. His pancakes were bland.
Now I was a waitress and restaurant cashier for about 11 years altogether so my patience is greater than most patrons. But i have to say i did not like my experience this time and I used to LOVE this location! I meant there is one right up the street from where we leave and we would choose this location the most anyway. When we tried to call in our order and no one would pick up, i told my husband "well maybe they are busy. They are located downtown and its a friday night". But then we arrive and we see they are nowhere near busy. While waiting, i called to see if maybe the phone number was disconnected or whatever. We heard the phone ring.but it sounded like it was a phone far in back, no ring at all up front with the cash registers. Another thing that bothered me was that there was not one person keeping an eye up front. 2 servers came up front to check and see if we had been help but that was all. Nobody was watching the registers. We were very disappointed. I hope things get better
