How sorry can you be to be open on a Saturday and only offer takeout! They complained about needing to catch up. They lost my business. Food previously was only mediocre anyway, so no big loss. Waffle House right down the street!
Ordered online through the app and originally ordered a prime rib sandwich and a prime rib omelette and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. After placing the order they called me and informed me that they were out of prime rib. Had to call back and substitute out for a meat lovers omelette and another Philly cheesesteak sandwich. We ordered fries for the side and I also got hash browns all the way with one meal. Also The app says you can do curbside pickup. I sat waiting and the lady finally brought it out when they realized the ticket said curbside but they don’t offer curbside at this location. So be aware of that when placing an online order. But all of the food tasted fantastic. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
First time Huddle House customers. Very positive experience. Food was better than typical chain diner fare that we expected. The dining room was clean and welcoming. Our server, Shantae (sp?) was great! Friendly, attentive, helpful, funny. She deserves a raise!
Food was absolutely amazing. Beats Waffle House hands down. No comparison. I got a huddle bowl with white gravy and I'm usually not a breakfast person but I could eat this every day. Bacon was cooked perfectly. Waffles as well. Very impressed! Will definitely return!
We don't have this in Charleston. Santee is where Old America is. Safe, courteous, affordable. Great food and service. I drive 32 miles each week to eat there.
We like coming he to eat but we had to hear one of the employees foul language while we were eating. She was working in the office most of the time but she would come back into the dining room and open that foul mouth again. We cut our visit short because of her.
We go to eat at 8: 00pm on Sunday night, the doors where locked with 2 customers inside, the signs say open till 10pm, i knock, a young gentleman answered the door, and said his manager wasnt taking orders fo 30 minutes, extremely unprofessional and only 2hrs before close, I'll never eat here ever
The quality of the food was terrible. Probably cheese out a 24 Kraft pack of singles. The place was filthy, dirty, and overpriced. The waitress was very short w a cold demeanor.
It's like waffle house with a wood interior and higher prices. Service wasn't remarkable, food was pretty bland, the steak in my omelette was way overcooked.
Much better than breakfast nook as far as food and service waitress was great punctual and kept checking to make sure we had everything we weren’t just some people from out of town
She closed the doors only having two tables inside. Two hours before closing she won't take any orders for 30 minutes. 2 tables yall. That's all she had to wait on. I think 4 people including other workers eating and the doors are locked. Turning away paying customers. NOT GOOD BUSINESS
Love this restaurant it was favorite place to eat. Recently within the last 3 months I can’t seem to get a table. I have been turned down a table 6 times because either their “too packed” or the cook said not to take anymore people. Which I would understand if they were actually busy. When most of the tables are empty it really doesn’t make sense to turn someone down. I’m not sure if it’s a scheduling issue or staffing but I just can’t believe this has happened so many times in a row. I drive from Manning just to come eat here but at this point it’s not even worth the drive.
