The grounds are beautiful. Nice and secluded at the end of a long drive with horses and wildlife. The event planners do a phenomenal job with the decor. The food is amazing!

We were looking for a venue that accentuated the natural beauty of the area and was capable of providing a wonderful experience for our special day. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, and dancing all outside under the angel oaks. The Hewitt Oaks team took our vision and brought it to life! I am not sure if we got more compliments on the food (which was delicious), the venue including the landscaping, or the overall experience the Hewitt Oaks team provided. We worked with Madi Campbell whose unyielding patience, guidance, and support during the planning process was unparalleled. The Hewitt Oaks team made our wedding dreams come true and we will forever cherish the memories they helped us make on our special day.

We started using Hewitt Oaks for the Holiday dinners they offer for pick up-then we attended the Dinner Theatre in September. The setting is incredible and the staff is 5 Star. Chef Christopher and his wife Brittany are an incredible team and very entertaining. We experienced the Chef's Table on July 14th and could not believe the QUALITY and PRESENTATION of all the courses and service. It was a 9 course dinner with wine pairings that were incredible. Crystal in Operations is professional and is such a joy to work with. Hewitt Oaks is the BEST of SOUTH CAROLINA in our opinion! The servers are polite and attentive and we enjoyed our time with Chef's nephew Will. The bonus for us is at the end of the evening we get to say hello to Brûlée' the mini donkey! XO

Their events are fun, inventive and right on theme. Food is great. Signature cocktails are great. There is a reason they sell out quickly!

Seems like a very nice venue. My granddaughter took baking/cooking class there and enjoyed it very much.

An absolutely beautiful place to hold a wedding. I went to one there last week. It was outside on the grounds. The gnats were awful, but that’s really the only negative thing I could say. The reception was inside/outside and the space was perfect. The coolest thing was that there was an artist painting the scene live. That was cool!

An amazing property and staff. Had our associate Holiday party here and everything from the food to the service was outstanding!

We had our wedding here on 7/16/22 and there are not enough words to describe how amazing everything was! From planning to executing, Crystal made everything seamless and brought our vision to life (including a special order of disco balls) the whole team is fabulous, I can’t thank them enough!

We chose Hewitt Oaks for our wedding. They’ve been great from the beginning until the end. We had to postpone because of Covid and I have family from Canada. They helped us find a new date and it was very easy. Planning was easy and clear, the food was delicious and the day of the wedding was more than perfect. Our guests are still talking about the food. Everybody was so nice and welcoming. They truly delivered and made our vision come to reality. I definitely recommend this venue 100%. It is gorgeous there and our pictures are unbelievable!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous. The location is very secluded and the trees are great, however, the owner and the policies in place make it so I could not recommend this venue.

The owner will treat your wedding as though it is HER event, not YOUR wedding day. My good friend was taken in by promises made before a non refundable deposit of thousands of dollars. After the non refundable deposit was made, the owner changed tune on a lot of things. My friend had been promised the ability to do her own flowers. She did not ask for a discount, and would still be paying the venue's flower person, but bring her own. This was fine at first. A few months before the wedding, it was suddenly very much not okay. My friend felt threatened that the whole wedding would be kicked out of the venue if a single flower of her own was brought in.

I cannot stress enough how obsessive the owner was over this. If this had been the only issue, that would be one thing. My friend was not allowed to contact the officiant required to be used until 2 days before the wedding. This made for some very devastating communication errors, and the ceremony wasn't as perfect as it could have been. A very important document was also left behind in the bathroom.

The wedding coordinator originally working with my friend left the company, and my friend was not informed of this and introduced to the new coordinator until a month before her wedding. There were numerous communication troubles with this venue; these are only a few examples.

Please save yourself the headache. The owner is extremely controlling and we were surprised that my friend could choose her own wedding dress. There are many other beautiful options in the Savannah area that will let you have your day how you want it

I went to Hewitt Oaks for a holiday luncheon today and it was fabulous! Our group was probably around 70 - 80 people and the venue did an excellent job. The food was so delicious! And both indoor and outdoor spaces were lovely!

I often go to Corporate Events at high end hotels and this place was much better than any Ritz-Carlton or other luxury hotel in terms of quality of food and overall service! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a venue for a wedding or other special event.

Also noticed they provide catering and take home meals for special occasions.next time I am having a special meal for a group at my home, I will definitely look into this option!

Not only is this a gorgeous wedding venue but they also offer amazing catering. They even do take away for holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, mother's day etc

Very pretty, the dirt road on the way in was a little rough. Overall, a beautiful place and great experience.

We had a petite wedding with Hewitt Oaks on Thursday, November 4th. The venue was perfect. The food is great. The staff is beyond amazing! You feel like family the second you walk on site and leave feeling the same way. Everything was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better day

Last night we attended the 2021 Octoberfest at Hewitt Oaks. It was not as advertised. There were no games and there was no music. Other than the lamb appetizer, the food was cold and mediocre at best. And the chicken Schnitzel was awful. The desserts were unimaginative and tasted like grocery store offerings. We will not go back because at that price we should have had a better meal.

Gorgeous venue. Attended a planned dinner event. Excellent food and beverage, had an attentive staff, and nice facilities. Outstanding experience.

I highly recommend using Hewitt Oaks for your wedding day. They have petite wedding packages that were able to accommodate our smaller guest list (due to COVID) all while still making the day feel super magical. Our day was set to be outside, ceremony and reception, however, there was a threat of rain. The staff was quickly able to move the reception inside seamlessly. Moving the reception indoors was probably the best decision, our guests never left the dance floor. I think this would have been different if we stayed outside, since it was so hot out. Food was delicious! Signature drink was delightful and refreshing. It was also super helpful they handed all the details by dealing with the flowers, cake, centerpieces, etc. The staff, all around, were super sweet and helpful. Kristyn, my day of coordinator made sure things ran smoothly and she is such a sweetheart.
My only and biggest disappointment was the photographer. We had our photographer included in our package. I was not able to gain access to her information beforehand, which is fine! However, I would have preferred having a conference call between Hewitt Oaks, the photographer and myself to go over what I wanted and my expectations. The grounds on Hewitt Oaks is one of the main reasons I was drawn to it and I just felt our photographer did not utilize that to her advantage. Many of our photos had the same background (one of the buildings). I wanted the trees and Spanish moss to be a big aspect of our day and photos and there were not many, so that was a huge let down.
Overall, this is the perfect wedding location with that great southern charm. The staff went above and beyond and our day was absolutely beautiful.

My husband and I recently got married at Hewitt Oaks and our wedding was the most beautiful and perfect day! The property is STUNNING, the food was stellar, the decorations were gorgeous, and our coordinator was absolutely perfect! Crystal could not have impressed us more with how well she coordinated our special day. We are so thankful to Hewitt Oaks and Southern Graces for giving us this special memory and we plan on going back for at least one of their many events! Thank you all, again! Love, The Nances

Ordered the new year's day brunch. It's was more than expected in volume and quality. We were delighted and address looking at doing the Friday night meals when possible. Would visit more often, but we live about an hour away.

We recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Hewitt Oaks and we were HIGHLY impressed and we can't wait to return! Bethany and her team were amazing to work with-they are extremely hard-working, professional, helpful and they take such great care of their couples! From a photographer's viewpoint, the grounds were absolutely gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop for our couple! The Spanish Moss soaked trees and reception seating under the canopy of trees with all the twinkling lights was just too die for! We have been photographing weddings for over 10 years and this was by far one of our most favorite reception designs! And did I mention the cocktail appetizers and reception dinner was SO SO SO YUMMY? !
If you are thinking of having your wedding here, RUN, book it now! You won't regret such an AWESOME venue and experience! 5 stars all the way around but if we could give more, we surely would!

I recently attended an event at Hewitt Oaks and all I can say is WOW! This place is a hidden gem! The grounds are stunning and the venue is gorgeous. I would describe it as farmhouse chic. It is decorated beautifully. They have thought of every detail and the food was amazing. If you need a venue for an upcoming event I highly recommend that you check them out.you won't be disappointed. I was told they also cater offsite through their catering company Southern Graces!

Beautiful wedding and event venue in the heart of Bluffton. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a smooth event and the food is top notch! I DJ at many venues in the area and Hewitt Oaks is at the top of the list.
