Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

My face was clear when I went for a facial, I just wanted a refresh and time to relax. Since the facial, my face has been breaking out since. It has not cleared and it has been 2 weeks. It looks horrible!

This is a great place, wonderful staff, 10 out of 10 recommend. But hands down the best massage from Kefa (I might’ve butchered the name) lol he’s a black male, very gentle and professional, he explained everything he was doing and kept it all professional, he made you feel comfortable and not awkward.if you go to H&S, ask for this brother. Overall great and friendly staff.

I went here over the weekend for my first time for a facial, and I'm now a member because I had a terrific experience. I'm looking forward to my next one!

Scheduled a massage for 2pm, received confirmation of the date and time and then a text a couple days prior asking me to confirm. The morning of, I get notices that my massage is at 10am, and then I get a notice it's been cancelled. I called and they have me down for neither 2pm or 10am, but 1pm. I can't make it at 1pm and they have no 2pm slots left. I realize it's an automated system, but if it isn't reliable then I don't want to use the business. I worked my entire week around this.
To add, while the person I spoke with repeatedly mentioned that it's an automated system (which, again, I understand) there was no "I'm so sorry this happened", no acknowledgement of the error on the business's side and how that affected their client.

Jesse was amazing. He has a great personality besides the fact that he got all the knots out of my body. I wish I could go every week!

John and Jesse give the best massages, and Mila gives the best facials! Just really great people, too!

Hand and Stone is head and shoulders above the rest! (See what I did there?) Went for the first time today and it was the best investment in my personal health that I’ve made in a LONG time! Kim was patient, kind, and very helpful with explaining what’s going on with my body under the skin. She gave me aftercare tips as well. Highly recommended and will DEFINITELY be going back regularly! If you’re on the fence, DO IT! Gift a massage to your loved one or go for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Wow! Wow is all I can say! I made sure and stressed the importance of booking a deep tissue massage! John was my masseuse and honey! He did not disappoint! He did an amazing job! Thank you John! I will be back! It was relaxing, stress relieving and it took away a lot of the pain and tension in my back!

This was my first facial and I really didn’t know what to expect. Mila did a good job of explaining everything to me! My facial was awesome and so relaxing!

I booked an appointment online for a 1 hour massage for my wife. I put in my credit card info and got an email confirming my appointment. I later received a phone call from the business stating they were giving my reserved spot to someone else, despite having booked the appointment and receiving a confirmation email from their website of the booked appointment. Very unprofessional.

I’m disappointed in the experience but won’t let my review reflect emotion; more logic.

We arrived on time but needed to fill out forms, so the massage started 5 mins late. We are accountable for that and understand this does not reflect poor on the establishment.

It was my birthday so the lady on the phone said I get a FREE aromatherapy added to our purchase. At checkout, we were charged for the $10 aromatherapy….

Our massage ended 4 minutes early. I know this because it was 3: 57 by the time I got out of the bed and started getting dressed (and that’s being optimistic)

I paid for an hour but received less than an hour (minus the part where my massage started late due to it being my fault)

The woman doing my massage felt like she was rushing the entire time.

Lastly, I bought cupping as an add on and I swear she didn’t cup me for more than 2 minutes. What a waste.

I feel scammed. Felt like I was just a number and not a valued customer. Extremely overpriced with under delivering services. Will not be going back.

I got a introductory massage and asked for firm pressure due to the amount of time it’s been since my last massage but I’m afraid the Therapist focused more on being firm than providing relief, upon arriving I had to wait 5 minutes to check in then an additional 5 minutes waiting for the massage therapist to retrieve me from the front, the pressure was decent, she asked about targeted areas but I had no idea she would completely skip over my lower back, glutes, upper thighs and the balls of my feet in the end, ON TOP of stopping my massage at 11: 51 I left feeling unsatisfied, the reception asked how I felt and then proceeded to tell me in order to meet my personal needs I needed a therapeutic massage, completely disregarding the 20 minutes total of time I missed and the MT completely skipping portions of my body during a “full body” massage. I wanted to get the monthly subscription but I’ll pass after that experience and the receptionist basically blaming me for my dissatisfaction. I’ve been getting Swedish massages for years and never have I left with a more unsatisfying experience.

Always clean, front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. Sheba is a great massage therapist and is reliable and kind!

My services were good- specifically loved Andrea. However, my lower review came from when I cancelled my package. I specifically asked multiple times if the last charge (massage credit) would expire, and I was told it would not expire. Unfortunately I was not able to use it as it did expire in 90 days. Found that out the hard way, and I don't like to waste money. Please be honest with your customers and information around packages.

Most incompetent front desk employees they literally Have one job & can’t even get that right. Wouldn’t recommend this location.

Hand and Stone offers a variety of services and products. These days the appointment availability seems limited.

The massage was AMAZING! John is REALLY GREAT! He has such a pleasant, professional personality. The service is excellent at this facility! I can't wait to go back!

When you need a little pampering I recommend you go here! I've been to 2 locations and the service is was great in both locations.

My wife came to the woodruff location for a massage last night due to some back pain and left with bruises and her back hurting even worse the following day.
Not to mention she didn’t get taken back until 8: 03 and the massage was over at 8: 50 including time to get dressed and undressed.
Stay away from this place.

I got a massage from John and he was extremely professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. Definitely coming back. Great experience!

The ladies at the front desk were super kind and helpful as soon as I walked in. My esthetician was Simone and she was wonderful! She was super sweet and reassuring and I felt much better walking out than I did when I came in. I had the peppermint scalp massage. Simone also did a very relaxing neck and shoulder massage. Will definitely be back!

Never going back. After 5 years I gave 1 more try and was just as disappointing. I feel like the staff needs professional training. I had way better thorough therapists at the local massage school. A professional masseuse shouldn't make small conversations centered around themselves which takes away focus from your experience. My therapist did ok on foot soles but ignored toes. Same goes for rest of body. Very unfulfilled and even frustrating.
