Most of the stylists here are competent and polite. Deb is the best stylist at this location. Unfortunately she was not working this past weekend. Sunday was the last time at this salon and there will not be another one. I was treated with blatant disrespect. The stylist gave me a dirty look when I explained i just needed my fade done. I should have left then. When she got me in the chair she accused me of cutting my own hair. I denied cutting my own hair. I again explained what I wanted. Then said i was not going to get what i wanted. She began to argue with me and went on to tell me she has been doing hair for 30 years. I told her I was leaving and had to say it more than once.
I left and went to a barbershop where I got the style I asked for and was treated respectfully. The cut cost a little more than Great Clips but it was worth it.

Great haircut. This stylist always does a great job with my grandson. But I'm concerned she doesn't enjoy her job. She never smiles and only converses when she has a question about the haircut. (the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars.)

I just called them to ask if they had any availability and the lady on the phone said there’s a line right now so I asked if they only did walk ins and she said no as if I should’ve known that prior. My bad for not checking beforehand but then I tried to ask when would be a good day and she hung up on me. It was rude and I hope she just had a bad day because that behavior towards potential clients is uncalled for if you’re a business trying to make money. Won’t be calling again.

Well, never going here again. Checked in online and waited 40 minutes, then when I get there they’ve got the door locked and are closing up 2 hours early on a Monday (3: 56 when they close at 6) and took their phone off the hook. Great job, guys.

Everytime I get a cut from Keesa I am happy I came in. She does an incredible job. I highly recommend her.

Don’t bother checking in online. I checked in and was told I was the next person in line with zero wait time. I waited 20 minutes, two people got in line in front of me, and I finally left after having wasted my time.

Not the best place for a haircut, but not the worst. Staff isn't very talkative and my son's hair had to be fixed by another salon.

The ladies are always great but I can't seem to get a single person to cut my hair the way I ask. Which is why I go maybe once a year but need to go more. Can't afford the expensive places. Not sure if it's me not describing it correctly or what but I'm not being complicated. Trim the ends because I'm growing out my hair, layers, and I wanted some side bangs past my cheek bone. Took off too much length and my bangs are to my eyes not my cheekbones. But, hair grows so I'll live.

I wish I would’ve gotten the lady’s name that cut my hair. She did an amazing job! She cut my hair just the way I wanted it. I love it! Her and another lady cut my kid’s hair and also did a wonderful job! They were very friendly and even called me to get us in earlier. Will definitely be back!

I called to see if there was any availability for a trim and the lady who answered was extremely rude, stiff and ended up hanging up before I had a chance finishing my sentence. Mind you we were only on the phone for not even 30 seconds. Will never even consider giving this place my business now. Absolutely terrible customer service, idc how bad your day is. RUDE.

I checked in on line, waited a hour until I got the text to come in, got there and they had no record of my appointment so I had to wait 40 minutes to be seen. The stylist was nice. Her work station was dirty with someone else’s hair. I asked for a Bob. Which is supposed to be long in the front and short in the back. While she was cutting everything was fine, towards the end she asked if I’d like her to thin my hair a little (I have thick hair) I said yes, she literally picked up some top pieces-cut underneath-in 4 or 5 different spots. I asked if she was blow drying it when she was done cutting & she said she could damp dry it or something but it was still damp when I walked out. She didnt brush it after she thinned it. I got home, brush it, has a pile of hair on my floor, looked in the mirror and my hair was horrible, she missed so many pieces of hair while cutting, I really should have took a picture. My husband had to go behind her and straighten my hair smh! The cut was so uneven and she missed so many different spots. She was nice tho during the session, I wish it would had turned out differently because I planned to go back for a color but not now!

Went in for a trim, was asked if it was okay to wash my hair since it was so thick. The stylist told me it would be easier to wash than to spray it. I told her that was fine. After trimming my hair, the stylist said we should blow dry my hair to make sure it came out okay. At first I told her it was fine, she could leave it wet, but she said we should with this haircut. Fine. We get to the register, she rings me up for a haircut, wash, and a $50 style. I payed $72 plus tip! I even questioned the price and was told that she knows it’s crazy, but prices are going up everywhere. No! I was not told I would get charged for a wash that makes her job easier and a blow dry style that I didn’t need. ($50 is high for a style for chin length hair!) I will not be going back.

I booked online, was told 5 minutes, and waited 25 minutes. Could it get any worse? YES! It was the WORST haircut I have ever had-in fact, it was embarrassing. MY previous haircuts have been good. The last one was shockingly bad, with bits of hair sticking out, uneven length, and droopy fringe.
Do not waste your time contacting customerservice@greatclips. They do NOT respond.

The lady cutting my hair made a big fuss about wearing her mask, ultimately refused to do so. She also complained the whole haircut about masks. And the haircut was pretty terrible

Be sure to book online before going or it will be a long wait. Almost everyone makes their appointment using the Great Clips App. If you do that, you won't be there long.

I had my hair ruined by a private hair dresser. I went to Great Clips and Gloria was shown the same picture I had shown the other cutter. She cut it great and I am no longer embarrassed to go outside. I had seen a discount in Facebook Marketplace and Gloria did not mention it, but, that was OK with me.

. They need better trained employees. Got a haircut and only wanted about an inch off on the top and about an inch length on the sides but got 2+ inches and nearly skin on the side. Walked out and didn't complain but I got a discount for no reason so that was nice.

Great place and i can't remember her name but she cuts my hair every other week does an amazing job. She usally is there in the morni gs and in the first chair you see as soon as you walk in. Won't use any other employee

Gloria is an awesome stylist! Every haircut she gives me makes it easy to care for. I can dress it up or just let it dry and it looks cute. The value is incredible! I will be coming back as long as Gloria is there!

Drove 30 minutes here because my regular Great Clips was closed when I get there they tell me they will not give me any service without a mask, no problem I walk across the street to Publix and purchase a mask and when I come back they tell me that they have checked me out of the system with a wait time of 150 minutes after I had already waited 2 1/2 hours for a haircut, go anywhere else but here

The guy that just cut my son’s hair had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what he was doing. My son has a cowlick, and this guy has no idea how to cut around it. I told him several times that he needed to leave some length so it would lay down flat. The guy did not listen. He cut. And cut and when he realized he has messed up, continued to cut more and more and more hair to the point where he is completely scalped in one side of his head and the other side is 3” long. I didn’t want to upset my kid so I just paid and left. I should’ve complained then and there.

I LOVE my haircut!

A business is at the mercy of the quality of it staff. And, while I have only been to one stylist at the Great Clips on Lady's Island, she has made it worth writing a review.

My stylist listened to what I was looking for in my haircut and made appropriate suggestions to account for the texture of my hair. The end result was exactly what I was looking for.

As a female with short hair it can be frustrating finding a stylist who has both the skill (and courage) with clippers, as well as an appreciation for wanting the cut to look feminine. I've had some good haircuts over the years, but this is by far the best haircut I've had in a long time! Thank you!

Love the location. Love the check in and convenience BUT both boys had their hair cut yesterday and I honestly don’t think the guys know what they are doing. Second time they’ve cut my kids hair and both times kids hair was butchered. When I asked the stylist to wipe the hair off my sons face bc he’s only two he flat ignored me. I made a complaint to the franchise and I hope these two guys take class on how to scissor cut and mannerism. Very disappointed!

Worst experience at any Haircut salon.waited for over an hour only to walk out because they cannot keep track of their customers. I would rather cut my own hair with a dull Swiss army knife than deal with their poor customer service.
