Located in the Golden mile, the area is nice and resort as well. Rooms have been updated and I love the modern beachy feel. We've stayed in Ocean front and ocean view and both have had great views of the ocean. Parking deck is convenient but can get loud at night when trying to go to bed since horns beep when alarms are set. Staff was very friendly and buffet for breakfast was pretty good.

Our rooms were clean and spacious, although I heard other guests complain of missing or broken kitchen items. We had odd numbers of some items, and not 10 of anything fir a 10 person suite, luckily there were only 8 of us and we made it work.

Everything worked but the showers were difficult to operate. If you come in the winter like we did I suggest you bring your own blankets, the ones on the beds are more like a second sheet.

We chose this hotel for the indoor heated pools, splash pad, lazy river, and hot tubs. The pool was nice, the hot tubs were warm but not hot and two were broken for a few days of our stay. The lazy river was really cold, then closed, then finally almost room temperature the last day we were there (which was disappointing because that's my favorite part).

They have a Starbucks on site which the teens loved. River City Cafe is next door and we enjoyed being able to walk there.

We asked what time the putt putt closed as we left the pool so we ran up and showered, but when we came down to get the clubs and balls we were told they just got an email that it was closed for the season? The little kids were disappointed.

Otherwise the people at the front desk were very kind and helpful. I told them there was a wire hanging out of the elevator door and he immediately called someone and it was fixed the next time I used the elevators.

They seemed short handed on housekeeping staff. We had to go down and get toilet paper, dish soap, and trash bags and set our trash outside the door. They didn't come in our room the whole 7 day stay but stopped by our door once to ask if we needed anything.

Would never recommend staying here, had a 3bedroom pent house just for it not to have no AC, so as i called the front desk they bring me box fans in which wasn’t no help so they moved me to a whole different hotel for the same price but smaller. Remind you I’m on the 2nd floor.would NEVER spend a penny here ever again. This is the worst hotel experience i have EVER had in my entire life!

UPDATE, ended up staying here AGAIN by mistake on 10/28/23, first y’all over charged my card and actually overdrafts my account then after that YALL keep trying to take money out my account like 6x but it wouldn’t go through because yall took every dime i had, get to my room (3bedroom condon) it’s filled with trash so they tried sending me to another property but had 8 guest in total so im guessing the other room was too small so they had me wait in a smaller room which floor was DISGUSTING, my baby socks was so damn black smh but we waited for 2 hours while our room was being cleaned, by now it’s 10: 30pm, got to the hotel at 6 smh.the black skinny tall guy haves the nastiness attitude, he should be careful who he treat like that

The check in was quick people very courtesy the rooms were spacious and clean. The pools were clean and warm. They have a restaurant inside and outside bar and Putt putt.

If you’re looking for the worst vacation experience of your life, this place is for you! Unfortunate you can’t give zero stars on a review, but this place intentionally overbooked us, shut the power off to our room on one of the busiest vacation weeks of the year, leaving my kids and I 15 hours from home with a “guess you’ll have to find other accommodations” as a solution to the power being off in our room (which again, we were later able to confirm was intentional because they regularly overbook and find themselves in this ‘pickle’.) Aside from that, the room was absolutely filthy to the extent I was scared to even have my kids sleep there, and despite telling us someone would come to clean, no one ever came and I was forced to go to the store, buy cleaning supplies and CLEAN THE ROOM MYSELF- it was that bad…. But how about the positives! They must fully know how absolutely awful this resort and the majority of it’s staff seem to be, because they refunded us in full- all we had to do was spend HOURS of our vacation desperately calling anywhere and everywhere we could all over South Carolina and then drive an hour and a half again for other accommodations. Overall, again, if I could give zero stars and encourage you to run in the opposite direction from this resort, I would. But, if you want a completely misrepresented resort that’s filthy, overpriced and with absolutely awful customer service, the grande cayman is certainly the place for you!

The customer service for booking a reservation at this resort is absolutely terrible. They have tons of tech issues with their computer systems. It took me days of dealing with their online booking system to finally book a reservation over the phone. I sat on hold numerous times and in the end they were able to book my reservation, but cannot take a deposit at the time because their computer systems were broken. They then sent me a confirmation showing the total balance due and three days later called asking for a deposit and want to charge me a higher amount than what they had disclosed in the email invoice. I am being told I have to pay a higher amount due to their issues with their computer systems and that their computer sends out wrong emails but customers are still expected to pay for their mistakes. Unacceptable customer service!

It’s been 7 weeks and still have not received my refund. I’ve talked to 3 different people who can’t seem to figure out why I have not received it. This is getting ridiculous!

There’s not a lot of walking room in the hotel room and has scrubbed off paint and stuff on wall. Also when you turn on the heat and smell like smoke and the room smell werid. But over all the room looks decent

My children and I were on vacation. I checked all the reviews and it seemed like it was going to be a great fit for my children and I. When I walked into the room the room smelled like urine. So I went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies so I could properly clean the room. I called the front desk and asked her could she move us to another room and she told me they didn't have anymore rooms available. I really didn't get to enjoy my vacation because I had to clean my own room like I do at home. I wish this hotel nothing but the best. Me and my family will never stay here again

During the arrival check-in day, the parking situation was temporarily unorganized. We had requested for the highest floor that was available, but it was informed to us that our request had not been put into the system.
Even though our room was located on the 6th floor, we were pleased. Hopefully, the next time we decide to book our reservation in the future, we will not be faced with this issue again.
Now, on the bright side! Room location was quiet and spacious, very professionally cleaned, balcony, amenities were fine, Breakfast was excellent, on day two, the front desk and housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating.

Came here for a week, and will be coming back for another vacation in the future. A lot of good restaurants (including the one inside on the first floor, next to the Starbucks) we're in walking distance. And some of the further ones that need a car were maybe a 5 to 10 minutes drive. Room service was always there in the mornings asking if we needed anything, the pools and hot tubs were clean.

I really liked our room. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great view of the ocean and pool area. Room came with a full kitchen and 3 beds. Hotel has a gym, free parking, pool outdoor, indoor pool, hot tub, bar, restaurants, game room with access to beach. Starbucks is walking distance next to or joined to hotel/apartments. Will definitely stay here again especially the same room and host if possible.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanfront condo on the 8th floor. It was a little small for 6 adults. It was clean and just like the pictures on their website. Location was great, view was beautiful from our room. All staff I encountered or asked questions to were very friendly. The parking garage was nice and we were able to park right at the room. Pools very nice. Bar downstairs has great drinks. Turtle Bay restaurant on 2nd floor was just ok. I would not eat there again. Breakfast was pretty good in main lobby. I would book here again!

Great location. That’s about all I can say. Room was gross. I called a few weeks ahead and was told I couldn’t add another night because the room wasn’t available but I saw it was still available to book for our dates online. Did the online chat and they booked it for me no problem. Arrived and the room had a strange smell. Started doing a walk through and it was obvious the room had not been cleaned. There was food caked to the countertops, food and sand still in the chairs. The bathroom was dirty and the shelf they had put “clean” towels on had not been wiped in ages. The curtains all had stains and holes and a strange odor. Stains on the sheets and pillows. The floor was very dirty. I understand we are at the beach and it’s hard to get every grain of sand but this was not touched. I always bring a few cleaning supplies because I have a one year old who likes to wallow everything so I cleaned everything but my husband had to go out and buy a mop. They offered to send housekeeping but at that point it was just better for us to do it. Same story for the pools. I wanted to book a place with plenty of water activities for my one year old but they are not maintained. There is gunk built up around the edges, excessive stuff floating in the water (not just grass and leaves) and sand in the bottom. I’ve stayed plenty places at the beach. I know that people don’t clean off good enough from beach and hop in still covered in sand but the build up has not been maintained. We love a lazy river and that is something I look for when booking and it is not working and closed. About 11: 25 last night, the smoke alarm started chirping due to low battery. My husband tried to take out the battery so we could just go back to sleep and it wouldn’t wake up the baby but that didn’t help so I called the front. I was told maintenance was gone but security would bring up a battery. Waited for 25 minutes by the door, again hoping they wouldn’t wake the baby because he was already getting restless with the chirping and no one ever showed. My husband walked down to the front and she told him they didn’t have one. He said so was anyone going to tell us and she just stared at him. He finally just walked off. He walked to a gas station next door and bought a battery so we could sleep. I’m so disappointed. I booked this as a gift for my mom because she is the only one who keeps our baby for us while we work and I hate that it has just all been gross. Would not recommend and would not stay here again.

Everything here was wonderful. Room service like the cleaning of rooms was good. I feel it would have been better if they swept floors daily. But the rooms were clean and tidy. But you are at the beach and no matter how hard one tries sand still comes in.

Would NOT recommend!
Stayed for 5 days, 4 nights in September 2023 for a family vacation. The overall cleanliness was disgusting. First of all, there are ROACHES! First evening there, our socks were black from walking on the floor, obviously not mopped and you can see caked on dirt on all the baseboards. There was mold under and around the sink. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes at ALL and we tried two different kinds of detergent. No mattress over on the King bed and the pull out sofa bed was absolutely disgusting, clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The lent trap was so full and clogged that it was compacted down in the machine and we had to clean it out. That is a serious fire hazard and staff clearly didn’t check it. One of the blankets on the bed had stains and the pillows were covered in stains as well. The coffee pot hadn’t been checked or cleaned, there was an old dried up tea bag in the machine when we went to use it.
First night there we had a bag stolen at the pool. And every single staff member we saw around the pools, stayed on their phones the entire time and never once got up or moved. The pools themselves were pretty nasty, gunk built up around the edges and full of debris. The kids little pool by the water slide was absolutely disgusting. It had leaves, bird feathers, food brochures, cupcake wrappers, etc in the water. And the stairs leading to the water slide had a massive heap of caked on bird poop that obviously no one cared to clean.
The furniture is also not bolted to the wall or secured in any way and our toddler had a very close call with the dresser falling over on her.
