If you are a person of color please be careful going here. The assistant manager Janine is very rude and she used a couple of racial slurs after we had a disagreement, and voided my whole transaction and told me to go somewhere else.

Neighborhood spot, very friendly people. Not as big or updated as some of the other Food Lions in the area but they acknowledge us as locals and remember us every time. Very nice staff

Just a good place like all Food Lions. This one is old but clean and well organized. If you want new razzle dazzle go to 38th. St.

This store is really nice, probably the nicest Food Lion I've ever been to. It's clean, the aisles are well stocked, and the produce I bought was good quality. All the staff were really friendly, too. My baby was in a bad mood and I felt like everybody there wanted to make her smile. This is going to be my go-to grocery store at the beach.

They have no check out yourself lanes. If you are in a hurry, do not go there. Very rare to find fresh white bread. Basic food items avaiable. Main staples easy to find.

Clean and shelves were full with very few holes. Only thing that really stood out was that not one associate acknowledge we were there until checking out. Cashier was very friendly.

Have seen beter placed. Not the greates variety of food and not the best service. The person at the cashier was not so helpful

I frequent this Food Lion because it's close to home but I plan to go to another store now. The main problem is with the cashiers. They don't help put my bags in my shopping cart and don't bag well. Ant traps in with my food, frozen food not packed in my insulated bags and a general don't care attitude. Sorry, but they need to be educated in the art of bagging and good customer service.

Not a Kroger but very well stocked clean very reasonable priced the cashier was very friendly and nice

This Food Lion is beyond stressful they have all these great sales the kind that you have to buy 2 to get the deal which is fine until you get up to the registrar. You swipe your members card they tell you that it will take it off the end, unfortunately it doesn't. So either you complain and wait for them to call someone to try to fix it or you just accept that you got ripped off again and go on about your day especially since the lines are generally very long and it's aggravating to the person behind you that they have to wait even longer because the price is incorrect. After my experience tonight I believe I will just go on down the road to the Walmart neighborhood market where you don't have to deal with this kind of stuff.

Nice store we visited on vacation. We did not have a Food Lion card, and the cashier rang us up on the store card so we could get the discount.

Staff is friendly, the store is clean but small and this location doesn't always have what you're looking for.

I have lived in the area since I was little, always bought my groceries there.used to be a serine nice environment but the last couple times I've been in have felt immensely unwelcoming.

There is not a bakery, this is a smaller version of the Food Lions I am used too. The manager was very helpful, we wanted more family pack steaks and he went into meat department and got them for us. Nice, clean store.overall good experience.

This is where I shop when I stay in Myrtle Beach while performing at The Comedy Cabana. I was just there a few weeks ago and can't wait to come back. I'll be passing through Dec 27th on my way to Southport, NC to do a private show! Great store, excellent employees!

Love Food Lion but I don't like the fact that they know at lunch time ppl are looking for something hot and quick why is it that they sell fried chicken but there is never any in the hot box when you go thereKeep it coming like the steps and rotisserie chicken

Very well stocked and clean store right on Business 17. Easy in and out off 17 ad well as 62nd street. Plenty of parking with several handicap spots. Located in the day space is Kurt's Ice Cream, a children's clothing store and consignment store. Prices are slightly higher than Walmart but meat prices are well within most budgets. What we also like are checkouts that have people as opposed to Walmart where you not only pick your groceries, but also need to scan, weight, bag, cart and then pay. Food Lion does the scan write and bag, well worth a few extra $$$.

Beats Walmart anyway of the week. Yes, a little more expensive, but they are putting people to work not robots. They trust humans over technology. Botoom line Food lion rocks.

Cashiers are extremely rude, do not even say "Hello" unless I say it 1 to 3 times first. Don't have the "energy" to even tell me the total of my purchase, I just guess when the machine is ready for my card. Always awful.

They had exactly what I was looking for, cashier was friendly. This is a small store compared to others. But it is easy to get to, and located by a traffic light which makes getting on your way quite easy.

What can I say? It was just like every other Food Lion I have visited on the east coast. This is Myrtle beach and I do expect prices to be higher but the cost of some "Sale" items is questionable. Granted, it was late at night but the staff were all just waiting for us to leave (even though they had 30 minutes till closing). Again, this is not a negative post, just that this location did not exceed my expectations nor did it degrade what I expected from Food Lion.

Cashier was friendly. Store was clean and neat. Fried chicken from deli was great. Packs of Turkey, Ham and Cheese from the Deli was very tasty as well. Can't forget the sweetest Organic qq+q+Nectarines by Nature's Promise I have had in a long time.

The asst mgr (a young lady maybe her last name is dent) was fantastic in her customer service in helping me with a minor issue. Down south they are not in a hurry to perform customer service, but she was top shelf. I'm from NYC and I'll always remember her professionalism.

They always have what I need, except cat food. Hartz delectables they always out of chicken and tuna. It must be a popular cat food

Deli is smaller than most Food Lion stores. This location is like a neighborhood market, not as large as a supermarket. Friendly staff, quick to open another register if needed.

I just got finished doing my grocery shopping at Food Lion when the two young ladies at the register Kristen and Ali maybe their name I'm unsure but these 2 young ladies took care of me better than any employee has ever taken care of me at a Food Lion you need more employees like them

Well I walk in there like a kitty cat but I walk out of there like a Lion, Food Lion has the best prices and quality + equality

My mom and I choose this food lion and have for quite a while. Its always clean. Well stocked. Fresh produce and meat items. Friendly and helpful employees. Good location.would recommend to anyone thank you guys at food lion for always being top notch!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted very warmly. After a few minutes, was asked if we were finding everything all right, and was then helped at check out by two very nice, friendly associates. Great people, great store!

I recently had a review on how great the staff is at the store. The staff is for the most part still good. But where's Nicole who was the heart and soul of the store. Her happy smiling face is missed and I'm sure her fellow employees feel the same way. Store is still okay. But not the same as it was when Nicole was there. Your missed

An excellent spot of shopping and eating. The store is elegant and clean and well maintained — all things we can easily find out. The workers are pleasant and friendly. I really enjoy shopping at this location. Highly recommend!

Great store at the location we shopped while on vacation. Got a full cart, plenty of deals/sales, and every single employee was kind & helpful! Makes me wish I had a Food Lion like this back home.

I love Food Lion. Great prices, great variety of products. I shop here every time that I need groceries. My daughter love Food Lion as well. I hope Food Lion stays in business for a long time to come.

I think an overhaul needs to be done to this store. I have never been in a store that young girls stand around like they have nothing to do and they are doing you favor stopping to wait on you a customer. I think you need to get a new manager and hire people who really need a job and eager to please the customer. I really appreciated the help and the service that I got from the last visit. Overall decent pricing though. Overall just believe the area is at fault for the store overview. But still needs some improvement
