Dollar General

Long story short they would not give me a refund on tide pods with a reciept because I didn't purchase from this location. What's the point of the receipt? I could see if I was trying to bring back food but tide pods? What's the big deal? LAZY MANAGERS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. You never know someone's situation or what they are going through. I hope the rude worker never has to choose between Laundry detergent and food like I did. Sad world

Went here during business hours to find a sign saying "closed".
Not convenient.

They always have what I want they was nice employees store a little junkie but I will shop there

Of all the Dollar General stores in the area, this one is the best in terms of finding what you need, and the helpfulness of the associates. A very friendly crew, (out of all that I've seen so far) Highly recommended.

Don't mind the place but out of the last 5 or 6 times they have an empty space on shelf for what I went there for. Just shut this place down already if that's the plan.

Very disappointed in this store. I had one of the worst experience today February 1,2021. I was in the back if the store looking for bargains came across some nail polish in a bucket on the shelf that CLEARLY states Clearance item and a sign that said 50% off so I sort threw to find colors that I like a bucket full of polish only to go to the register to be told that they were not suppose to be on that shelf. I ask could I get it for the 50% off and was told that he wouldn't be able to do that because someone put p quite a few of them in the discounted bucket. Can anyone tell me why that was my fault because of someone else mistake I'm not a complainer but that bucket of polish has been back there for awhile that someone have caught it before you tell a customer you cant give it to them for the price that visibly clear. I'm about doing what's right and that is making sure my customers was was satisfied but I wasn't abs it wasn't the first that I have left out that same store very displeased. Its closes to my house so that's why I stop but it is the last that I will go there.

We where in dolllar general at 3: 55-4: 10 and we where in the store and we where in the line and the people in front of us left because she couldn’t get her discount and well I guess he got mad and left and walked out with a lot of people in the store and just took the key out the register and closed the door and left we called the Dm and I don’t know what she said I wasn’t the one who called the Dm. The man 10 minutes later came back in and we said hey we thought u left he said I rlly did and just keep working

This is the worst store in Dollar General franchise history. They never have anything in stock its always in the back never put on shelves. Rhe employees say don't have time. Only 1 person there most of time. Company policy suppose to be 2 people. That's why no time to stock. The store closes at random times and days due to no employees to work. They fire the good people and let the sorry ones stay. General manager doesn't have a clue what to do. They have the worst turnover in the town of Florence's history. When store opened was the best store in Florence/Darlington. Need to go back and start over. Close store and have a grand reopening. They are closing customers left and right if don't. Wal-Mart right down road 6 minutes away. I go right by DG now, cause I know they have nothing there stocked.

Long check out lines they only will have 1 person checking customers out and people put the stuff down and leave. Steady losing business.

The store is clean, always well-stocked and most importantly, the customer service is excellent.

Love this store! The assistant manager Shane is super cool. He helped me find the dog food I needed and lickity split I had paid and was back on my way! Check this place out. This is a big Dollar General.

The employees speak to you when you enter and when you leave and are super helpful and friendly, the store isn't as organized as it could be, but over all a great impression of this specific store

Great employees but however there's always carts of product on the floor that need to be put away.

The dollar general on east mciver road in Darlington s.c is a great store to do business at. The layout is a little off and a few things are out of place but what makes it such a great place to do business are the employees they make sure if something is out of place you get it for that price no question asked and unlike other dollar generals I have shopped out if it's on the clearance rack then u get it at that percent off no arguing the manager nikki and her assistant are also great managers

This store is poorly stocked Everytime i go in. The last 10 times no noncalorie sweetner on the shelf among many other items. Might as well close it!

Always love a good dollar store! Cheap items, medicine and first aid that works! Got a whole gallon of Hydrogen Peroxide to clean animal skulls for only 3 bucks! (3 containers). Lovely staff as well.

Y'all have good flakes on everything in the store but Hot Wheels car a lot of people play Hot Wheel cars I don't want to I got you a lot of Dollar General and you very often spy in your Hot Wheel cars why don't they cut more Hot Wheel car in Dollar General Store

Messy. Customer service isn't the most pleasant. Don't care to return bc of the unfriendly atmosphere.

The store has really done a 360 turn around due too new management val&carla are the best! Hands down to both
