Dollar General

You never know if this location is going to be open or not. Most of the time it's not and when it is actually open for business, they close early because of a labor shortage or something else. It's always something. It's really close and convenient for me use the store and I can't even count the number of times but I've had to turn around and find another store

Would be a great place for a store. There’s even signs. The other 2 in town are inconvenient to get into and out of during shopping hours.

Just close it down at this point so we’ll stop wasting our time going here. It’s closed more than it’s open. Been three times and last month and it’s closed during business hours

Horrible Dollar General always closed always having corporate issues just never has anything together the worst Dollar General I think in easily and possibly in South Carolina

This was the most awful experience I've had at a Dollar general. Women there were extremely rude and I plan to contact corporate.

Love this DG.people are always nice, this DG is cleaner than the rest of them I have been in always see the workers doing there best

For the past five sundays the "Self-chech-out"was down. Please send a representinve from hedquarters to solve this problem at this store.

The staff is very nice, management needs to get it together though. Instead of being cheap with labor costs- take a look at your sales rates and actually have more than one cashier at the appropriate times, rather than leave one person alone to struggle and force people to check themselves out because you’re too cheap to staff properly.

Again, the cashier was amazing and clearly trying her best to work with what she was given.

Maybe corporate should stop being greedy and compensate their managers enough to care.

February 24 2022 cashier wearing a shirt with her bellybutton exposed. That’s just to let you know who it is cause I didn’t get her name. Arrived at the cash register she slowly rang two items up. Didn’t say a word just sang a song to herself the whole time. Didn’t give me the total. I just read it off the screen. So first mistakes. No hello no how are you today nothing. She hands me my change while looking away dis interested in me as a customer. I took my change and left. This is customer service. She shouldn’t be running a register. Her belly button was cute tho. I hope she gets a record deal.

Went to enter store and seen a woman yelling at some guy that she appeared to know from the door. I thought she was a customer. When I got to the front to pay she informed me I would have to use self check out because she was waiting for a lady. Self check out was already in use and after a few mins she started ringing up my items when she was waiting for me to enter my card she was texting on her personal phone and when I was supposed to be getting a receipt she was texting on her personal phone. She didn’t even look up at me so I grabbed my things to just leave. She did not say a word. To top it off she was wearing a tube top under her unbutton shirt and her ENTIRE mid-section was exposed. Pelzer hey store is much better!

Look for the holiday sales. They had there outdoor lights half off this Thursday, Friday and today. Also, they have the cutest red truck Christmas decorations.

I’ve added photos below this store is horrible. They bathrooms are nasty. I went there yesterday and I will not be back… I don’t understand why it’s so bad. But I choose to go to the one on pelzerhwy!

Definitely in need of cleaning. Nice staff and doing a renovation. Absolutely no enforcement of mask mandate and have seen workers with face uncovered.

If there was an option for zero Stars that's exactly what I would get this place. Restroom was nasty commode was stopped up three empty toilet paper rolls next to commode. Shelf's in disarray. Parking lot is disgusting with empty drinks bottles and chicken bones on the ground. Now hiring sign in the door and after visiting this location I understand why.

Y'all took my wife off the schedule but everyone else in the store don't have them on it makes no sense my wife has medical problem amd y'all take her off the schedule but all the other employees that don't have medical problems y'all let them work without one or don't tell them to go home or they have it pulled around there necks when they are supposed to have them over your mouths

Overall a good store little of everything you need if in a hurry short lines but the overall sanitation is not noticeable if anything besides plastic barrier at register

Sometimes you get a nice person but occassionall as this store there's this morbid acting man that's super slow and won't even talk to you the there's an over eager manager that follows you around if you stay longer than 5 min. We went in during an amazing clearance sale on their clothes. We bought every one that was on sale. So we finally went to pick up small items we came for. Instead of being greatful we helped clean up the mess (they were clothes in floor people had stopped etc) He followed us around the store til we left. I asked the clerk to please tell him our total and that we paid for everything my total was over 300.00. And my friends was about that much. We would have had a ball be he ruined it for us.

Staff was very friendly and was able to get what I needed with the exception of Sage. Very happy they stayed open till 5: 00 PM on Thanksgiving day! Y'all keep up the great job and looking forward to coming back soon!

I love the dollar store cuz I can bring in my service dog and everybody is just a friendly natural direction to ask for something and they don't mind telling you

I like Dollar Generals' where ever l go. Some are well organized and some are junked-up, but if you don't mind looking for what you want or need, you can usually find it or something that will work for you.

Store was very packed in the middle of the Isles very dirty very disappointed used to be a good clean store

This store was extremely cluttered and a mess on the aisles and in the shelves. Frankly, it looked like a tornado hit it. I will not be back to that Dollar General location.

The store recently has changed management and it's severely needs the old management back in there

Me and my wife went to this location yesterday and the line was stretched half way through the store and one very nice lady on the register and the other employee if that's what you want to call her was sitting on the floor acting like she was stocking the shelves and just stop and stared at the long line and did not move a muscle to try and help her co-worker out and was not wearing a mask and was wiping face with her bare hands so unprofessional

My concern with all Dollar Generals is there not practicing very good covid-19 care also the stores tend to be short a crowded junkie looking not very clean at times

Great for quick runs and it's not Walmart. The staff was helpful when asked a question. I was in and out in less than 7 minutes.

Friendly helpful staff. In a hurry to find something in an unfamiliar layout? Just ask any staff person.

Listen yall I work at this dollar general and if anyone has problems u can come talk to me I will do my best to help u if I can. I'm so sorry for any problems yall experienced.

Normal chain atmosphere, never anyone at the register, long checkout lines, disorganized and crowed isles that you can't get through.

Very dirty unorganized store. Stuff is just misplaced everywhere and the flood looks like it has never seen a mop.
