Cook Out

This was a joke. One time they gave me only one fry. This time, they got my entire order wrong… On top of that the food they did give me sucked. The cookout sauce looked expired, the diet coke needed to be changed (i ordered a dr pepper anyways), fries were cold and soggy, and the hushpupoies tasted like they had been sitting out since yesterday.

Got charged extra for something I didn’t order. I’ll change the review once the refund goes through.

Probably my worst experience at a cookout. Burger patties were small and was mostly bread. Dine in not available yet so we used the walk up window. Interesting regulars. Will not be returning.

Vary good and fast prices are right.vary friendly and nice employee's the lady that took my order was a vary sweet lady wished I'd got her name to have been able to get recognition for giving the good service.

Definitely the best cookout in columbia.all the employees are still friendly & efficient even with lack of staff.the ones that are in there are working hardddd.thank y'all.

I usually dont have a problem with them but i asked for half and half got all fries and they sprinkled it with excessive amount of that season salt

Their lobby closed to customers to keep from eating inside if they preferred to dine in and on top of that their cashiers and cooks do not follow instructions nor directions. They would put just what you told em not to put on your sandwich anyway. If they cannot follow simple instructions then apparently they don't deserve to be employed at this particular Cookout or any other Cookout for that matter.

Rather slow service and every time I eat here i get terrible heartburn. Food tastes pretty good and the price isn't bad.

Mess my order up everytime. No matter what time I go. Love cookout just not this location. Will drive a extra 10mins just to go to the one off bushriver.

The line on the outside was was absolutely THE LONGEST LINE EVER.the food was semi warm when it came.burgers were ok.to well done. The onion rings were good

It's okay for the price and how late they're open. They just like to forget things and they really don't repeat back the order to know if they got it right or not. Maybe they need to update their drive thru system so they can actually hear the order correctly. If I'm expected to get customer's food right at my work then they should be expected too as well at this place.

Busy because it's one of the only places to get food in Columbia after midnight! It isn't gourmet, but it's a step above normal fast food. Excellent shakes as well! You can't beat the prices.

Hot dogs are Blazing! But Fries were cold! Peanut butter milkshake is Awesome! The Watermelon was not good! But Michelle was taking to go orders, She is very nice and fast!

Food was great, line moved quick but the young cashier at the window a few nights ago was unnecessarily rude. She was clearly in training and over her head, but was extremely unprofessional. Their watermelon smoothies are good enough to balance this single encounter out.

Super fast and inexpensive. The CookOut trays are the way to go. I always get the two hotdog tray with a cheeseburger quesadilla, bacon wrap, and Mr. Pibb.

We go to get a wrap and a quesadilla along with season fries. We ordered 2 season fries 1 regular fries a double cheeseburger and a hot dog. My quesadilla was flat. I never got my other season fries. But I got a lot of honey mustard

10/10 recommend especially if you aren't sure what you want cus you're gonna get surprised with something random regardless of what you ask for. It's kinda like playing the lottery except you always win. Pay these people more cus this is an incredible service I didn't know I needed.

Downtown Cloumbia location was busy. Only outdoor seating. All the friend food was delicious. However, lost of homeless are around but don't bother patrons. But they may ask for a meal which is a great way to help the less fortunate without giving money. Staff was friendly. Food was fresh and prepared quickly, but this is typical burger and fried food place.

The BLT was well-made and tasty. But the milkshakes are to die for! My favorite is Pineapple, but they have 40 to choose from!

Touch and go. Try to order when they're more busy and you aren't likely to be disappointed- sometimes the french fries and the other deep fried foods don't seem fresh.

It's been years since I have been. We were not disappointed. We live in Oklahoma now and the last time I had Cook Out was in N. C. I loved the cajun fries and Blueberry Cheesecake Shake. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers and shakes also. The prices are very reasonable!

Talk about incompetence. Nobody here seems to know what their doing. Like it’s everyone’s simultaneous first day. I would give them negative stars if possible.

There's nothing like standing outside in 40 degree weather waiting for your order to be taken and for you to be served food. Bonus points if you love terrible Christian music to wait on as you freeze to death outside while the employees watch you like the true zoo animal you are. 10/10, would recommend to anybody who already believes their life truly could not be any worse.

My burger is almost always soggy and squished. The only reason they get 2 stars is because of their hushpuppies being so good.

The whole order was wrong after waiting almost 40 mins in line. Two items were missing really disappointing try another location, waffle House is up the road

Food was super hot that when I drove back 20 mins it was still hot and they got my order right usually cook outs dont have all of that right so I'm happy.

The indoor dining is still a no-go, but the walk up order and pickup worked great. The burger and fries/ onion rings was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Till this day the cook out drive thru line amazes me. A chain who actually did two order stations correct. And they have a good selection of food to choose from.

This is the saddest double burger tray I have ever ordered. After working all day and grading assignments all evening, I didn't have the energy take it back.

Glad they are open but the pricing is never clear.itemized receipts would be great. Why is my cookout tray a different price every time?

Fast service, friendly staff, overall fantastic fast food. Be warned that on weekend nights it will almost always be packed with college kids!

Every time I go there I ask for cajun fries and 80% of the times I receive regular fries, WHERE IS THE SEASONING? I DONT LIKE THIS GREASY MUSTY DUSTY REGULAR FRIES: (the hush puppies always hit different tho. DELICIOUS.also cookout sauce is wonderful.the staff is nice but definitely lacking and impatient they threw my food all over the bag (?)

I found a hair in my food and went back through the drive through to get a remake, as I’m waiting for said remake I see one of the cooks just standing around pulling hairs out of his dreads.not once did anyone apologize they just acted like I was a bother for even saying anything. Would not recommend until they improve on staff

Ordered a big double burger tray and they put nothing on it. No cheese or anything lmao. Like come on y’all. Step it up.

I've visited this Cook Out multiple times. The order lines are consistently fast and the food here tastes better than at other locations. The orders have been correct each visit and the food has always been hot. Cook Out is a great value for the quality and amount of food you get.

The food here is great! Best barbeque pork I've ever had commercially. The menu is too confusing offering too many choices/items

I didn't like the attitude of one of the cashiers. I understand that they were busy but she could have eliminated her funky attitude about me asking about my food. She almost got the same funky attitude from me and wouldn't like how I would have treated her but I decided to drive away.

I love cookout! However.might I suggest making the Chargrilled chickens larger! ‍️ I took my sandwich apart because a piece of semifrozen lettuce was put on my sandwich and I didn't want my chicken breast getting cold, upon doing so I realized how small the beast was! The bun was waaay bigger, that was disappointing; for $4 I was kinda expecting a lil more, but it was still tasty ‍️ the ladies at the window are always polite so thats why I gave 4 stars. Keep up the great work!

The employee that was at the window today was very very very nasty I will not ever come back to this one ever again you don’t have to ack that way to anyone had a nasty attitude

Very fast, extremely inexpensive. Only place I know where you can get two quesadillas as your entree and then two quesadillas as a side. Doesn't really make much sense, but I support them because I have no money and it tastes good.

We eat here alot but tonight they was playin, they messed up our order we paid over $30 for food we didnt enjoy. Ams when we was at the window the young lady was swearing up a storm my wife say something but it but they didnt care.never eat here again

On multiple occasions, other people and I have went to cookout and ordered food. Every single time something was wrong with our order.
