Fantastic beers, Gwapo sour and Sunrizer IPA are delicious and balanced. Bok Choy Boy drunk noodles, incredible! Just enough spice to give it a kick and super fresh veggies inside. Homemade dumplings with a scallion soy sauce, steamy and so so flavorful! My new favorite spot!

As a brewer, I have to say a lot of the beers I’ve had in C-town were disappointing. But hands down, this is the finest NEIPA I’ve ever had. Period. His Trillium background shows why he was critical to making that brand is what it is. Do not skip this place when you visit Charleston!

This is a very cool spot. Amazing beer and a friendly beer tender. Barrel aged Bueno was amazing.

This is an excellent local brewery with some of the best beer in town. My local "go to" spot for beer. This location has a tap room vibe. They also have a beer garden location a short distance away that has a large outdoor area.

The beer here is can't miss, top notch. No questions asked.

Ok brewery. All the IPA’s seem to really be the same base with some added flavor/fruit. Fine to stop by for a quick pint but better places in the area.

Hands down best beer in the Charleston area. Check out the ratings on untapped app. Great IPA, great Gose, low ABV makes a super beach beer. 2022 El Rayo is off the charts. They also offer a El Rayo slushy which went down way to easy. Two locations Nothing wrong with the Original Savannah Highway venue but the new venue, called “the garden “ is a wonderful place to spend the day or evening. Still developing the facility but a real nice, family friendly, indoor / outdoor venue. Do not serve food yet but a taco place and BBQ place 100 yards down the street. Both pair well with beer.

Lay back clean and great selection of craft beers. Always have friendly bartenders evertime I visit.

I don't know if this review will ever change. Amazing beer, great service. One of the best in the state. A must stop for beer lovers.

Dipa to die for. Had to head back to Bluffton so I grabbed a few 4 packs to go. Tremendous beer. Today I got a parking space right out front! No pics cause beer was so good.

West Ashley has amazing beer and some of the best beer in Charleston is something, I regrettably did not know before today. Charles Towne has some awesome selection of brews. All of them seem to be excelling at the specific style the brew master was going for. Oh, you want a Czech Dark Lager? Well, enjoy one of the best. This place is fantastic and so well hidden on Savannah Hwy that I can't believe I have overlooked it. I will be spending more time here in the future from now on.

If you're a fan of New England IPAs, look no further! I love all of our CHS breweries but if I'm being honest very few make a great hazy beer (sorry!). The Fermentory delivers, again and again. And if IPAs aren't your thing, don't worry because their other beers are great too!
The taproom at Fermentory is chill and comfortable, with knowledgeable and friendly bartenders who can help anyone from a novice to a cicerone find their perfect pint. They also have a rotating list of excellent food vendors (some food trucks and some who set up in their pop-up kitchen). Don't miss out on this great brewery in Avondale!

Like IPA's? We loved it. I think most of what they had on tap were IPAs.try the sour IPA. It was excellent. Hazy NE style IPAs were the theme. No flights but small pours available. Also.theres a Nintendo 64 in the corner.

As for the beer, if you like an IPA, this is your place! There are 5+ different IPA variations including pineapple and a sour IPA.really enjoyed the atmosphere here

This place has a cozy, chill vibe and yummy beers. We could have hung here all day! The staff was super friendly and they have rotating food vendors too! We ordered some arepas that were scrumptious!

Wow! This place is taking precautions for covid seriously. They stop you at the door to either wait to be seated or order to go. There is a barrier when ordering and signs posted on mask wearing when standing or walking. They also have QR code menus to encourage distancing. Tables are distanced which is nice as well. I also love that the beers can be ordered in 5/10/16 ounces. Will definitely be back!

Out of 6 beers, 4 were very drinkable and 2 were okay. Ambiance could use some work. Exclusive use of plastic cups is unacceptable, not just for the drinking experience but for the sake of ecological responsibility.

We sampled nearly everything and it all was incredible. We took a 4 pack to go. Really doing some great IPAs; a few DDH options on tap that especially stood out.

Great beer, great atmosphere, amazing service. If in the area definitely stop by for a brew. Also the pop-up restaurants they do on certain days can be fire!

Basic tap room. No issues. Wife loved the fruited beers she had. NEIPA heavy, which is ok, but I like west coast IPA's and traditional DIPA's better. The local potato chips were delicious.

High words from others- Selection of beers is very IPA heavy, but staff was nice. They are closed due to Covid other than to go 4 packs or individual bottles.
Kind staff, hope to return when things are back to “normal”.
