Food was excellent, service was good. Staff was very friendly, just a little forgetful. Very classic Italian restaurant with great food. I would take this place over Olive Garden EVERY time
Exceptional customer service here by our waitress named Cassidy. She made my family including myself very comfortable. Our order was served on time and our beverages stayed full. She explained the menu specials very well and made us feel like we were the only table. The food was great and the service was the best I’ve had in years. If you are looking for a great meal and wonderful service. Ask for Cassidy!
We've eaten at Carrabba's many times, but this was probably our worst experience. Our server did not seem to be engaged and did not refill our waters till we were finished with our meals and did not bring extra bread for 15 or 20 minutes, and was just generally not very good. Additionally, the house salad which I usually love seemed to be floating in a watered down dressing tonight, and I ordered salmon and it took 10 to 15 minutes for the waitress to come back and tell me there was no salmon. I don't usually give bad reviews, but this one was earned.
My family and I came here to eat and we happen to be a large party. Our servers name was Cassidy. She gave our family the best customer service experience we’ve had in a long time. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, full beverages, extra tableware along with a nice smile. We were a demanding party with many requests but our server Cassidy made us feel comfortable and satisfied with our experience at this restaurant so we will be back. I recommend this place to anyone who wants amazing customer service. Ask for Cassidy
Saura G. Is an amazing server. She took really good care of my wife and I. She was very professional and definitely someone Carabbas should have out front as a representation of what quality customer service is all about. Thank you for a great meal and service!
Food and service was great tonight. We had peach sangrias, the mezzaluna, and the classic trio with tiramisu and coffee for dessert. We had two baskets of bread with a wonderful olive oil and herb dipping sauce. Portions were plenty and we got two dishes to go for $10 each! We got seated right away. The hostesses were efficient and polite, and Lincoln was an outstanding server! Great personality and very helpful. My faith in the service community is renewed! What a great meal and service for our cheat meal!
Entire experience was awesome. Service was exceptional. My server Kylee was very nice, attentive, always checking to make sure my meal experience was great. The atmosphere was also great. Very mello and chill. Will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends.
Our server, Imani at the N Charleston location, was the best server everyone in our party of 4 has ever had at any Carrabbas location. She is very personable & does a great job. We hope we will be lucky enough to have her as our server in the future.
Had a great meal! Have not been to a Carrabbas in over 20 years because I usually do not go to chain restaurants, but this place really changed my mind. Everything was seasoned very well!
The staff was friendly however the unpleasant smell as soon as my fiancé and I walked in was unsettling. We sat down at the bar and there were many fruit flies. We then sat down at our table and our server was very nice. The food was delicious. However we will not be going back to that location due to the cleanliness or lack there of at the establishment.
I went there after church with some family and the server told us we couldn’t have a table of 7. Mind you there was 10 people at one table sitting in front of us. We asked if we could split the table up and she said yes. When my mom asked to do the same she said no. Moral of the story don’t go.
I was very excited for my first visit to Carrabba’s however, that excitement was short lived. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. The server (not mine) gave my food to the wrong table, they notified him that they didn’t order that, he then picked it up, walked back to another server (also not mine & unmasked) and had her bring the same food that they had provided to the other couple to me. This instantly turned me off as I felt this was unsanitary and if they thought that was okay, there’s no telling what was acceptable behind the scenes. Definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here especially during COVID!
Great food and even better staff. Very kind and sociable waiters and waitresses that really help to make a great night even better. Would recommend as place to bring family or sit down and enjoy a meal with friends.
Ate here on July 5th. Food and service was great. But my 5 stars really go to the amazing staff who handled quite possibly the worst restaurant customer I’ve ever seen with grace and patience. Another customer finally ended up being the one to tell the man to shut up after he continued to loudly complain after having his meal for 6 people comped. The staff are rockstars. I sincerely hope that miserable, sad man never sets foot in that restaurant again.
While not one of my favorite places to go, the food was okay. There isn't really much on their menu that I really like so I usually go with some sort of noodle dish. One thing I do like is the bread and dip but really can't make a meal out of that.
The food is lacking alot. If you look at what you see in the me u or onli e for a dish it should at least resemble that. Thus was supposed to have a thick tomato sauce. I got watered down ketchup with green flakes.
The service was fine. Standard stuff. But my e tree and my wife's lasagna looked pathetic. I wont be back.
The best thing about my experience on last Saturday was the fried calamari, I also did not like that my server assumed that my change was her tip. I had to ask for it. $8 on a $20 something dollar meal. You should always bring your customers change unless they inform you not to.
Haven't eaten here in a few years. Was sadly surprised that it wasn't what I remembered. The food was overpriced, the portions tiny and the food was not very flavorful.
My wife's best friend daughter found a bug in her salad she showed it to the server who was very apologetic about it mire than the manager on duty she kept checking back on us but I will say all of our dinners were comped they just couldn't eat any more.
We came in as a family and we were not disappointed. Our server was Prestin. He was very attentive and we never lacked of anything. We spoke with the manager, Nita, telling her how awesome he was. She was extremely nice and honestly made us feel like we were at home. The food was yummy and we had plenty to eat. We will definitely be back.
I called and asked what the wait would be and the gentleman asked me how many people. When I told him five people, he put me on hold to check. He got back on the phone and told me 20 minutes. I then asked to be put on the call ahead wait list and he put me back on hold. I was then on hold for over 10 more minutes before a lady picked back up and then she told me the wait is now 30 minutes. This was incredibly frustrating because we were already halfway there after being told only 20 minutes. I then asked HER to hold while I discussed it with my family. After being on hold for the length of time I was, you’d think she could wait a couple of seconds. Not the case, she then proceeded to hang up on me!
First impressions are EVERYTHING and this was absolutely horrible. This needs to be addressed with the team with regards to providing misinformation and their demeanor on the phone. You NEVER hang up on a customer.
I went online and ordered the penne alfredo family bundle for $42.99 When I went to pick it up curbside.and was told my total was $65.00. I asked why there was such a price difference and was told that my family bundle didn't come with salad or bread and they refused to honor the online price. I emailed Carrabba's about the matter and they have yet to contact me.
Was on the wait list for a week for a party of 8.1 person wasn't allowed to come due to their limit. We arrived 15 minutes early. Checked in. At our appointmented time, I saw we were at the top of the list. We're still waiting a hour later, even though they have sat numerous walk ins, including a party of 7 ahead of us. Neither of the Hostesses, nor the host/mgr? Can even give us an estimated further wait time. The manager was somewhat rud, too. This is a family celebration and one person has a work commitment that is time sensitive. Two stars is being hopeful things will go well once we are finally seated.
I would avoid this place. I don’t know what going on the back, but last Sunday was the last straw for us. I found a lump of hair in my food, not a strand of hair, a lump of hairs in my food. I won’t elaborate on the previous bad experiences here, I’ll just say we’re never going back.
Carrabba's used to have the most wonderful menu and the restaurant was always filled with the mouthwatering smells of the wood fired oven.
Of course, in the interest of cutting all costs, the oven has an obscene plate screwed over it. No more pizza's, or anything else kissed by the wooden flame.
You may as well starting offering bread sticks and bottomless salads. Go ahead and keep cutting out the quality. I'll cut Carrabba's out of my dining list.
Great food, the server was very attentive and made sure we always had food on the table (all in my party got 3 course meals). Restaurant was clean as well, it did smell like a zoo as soon as we walked in… that’s my only complaint.
