Camelot by the Sea in Myrtle Beach by Vacasa

Very nice and clean.on the beach.this time of year it was a little cool but enjoyed our stay

This place is really nice I stayed for the race and it was a hotel I would stay here for the race but the staff at the front desk were kind of rude

Beautiful ocean front view. Had a clogged bathroom sink, but the issue was solved very quickly after we called. Nice lazy river, spa, and a few small pools. Overall great experience.

The best part about this place by far is the location. Situated beachfront and just down from the boardwalk, you are within walking distance to almost all the attractions with great views of the Atlantic Ocean. The next best thing about this place is the price. Overall a very affordable choice for lodging. The room itself was average but clean. A little on the small side but still enough to accommodate our party of 4 without using the pull out sofa. The amenities are nice but could use updating. They include a decent size pool, a kiddie pool, lazy river, hot tub, small workout room, and several outdoor seating options including a few hammocks. Parking garage is convenient with easy access to the rooms. Service was fast and friendly. Check in was quick and we were promptly brought towels and toiletries upon request. I could see myself staying here again. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay with a great location and a few amenities for the kids. I would recommend Camelot by the Sea.

First time to Myrtle Beech, family and I have decided this is our spot. Whenever we return, staying here again. Loved everything about our stay here. Relaxing, convenient, quiet, kitchenette in the room, beautiful view right on the beach, kids LOVED the kiddie pool, lazy river, hot tubs, regular pool. It was great.

Room looked just like the picture. View was great. Check in and out was an easy process. Very close to the boardwalk and restaurants. Parking was in a garage and was easy to navigate.

Two suggestions: Make the code go get in the room a little shorter or use cards (was similar to a phone number and didn’t work all the time)
Also, the door to the bathroom was jammed.

The first thing is to try to keep the animals and insects related to the lack of cleanliness (roaches and rodents) ; during my stay, we observed animals in the kitchen and even inside the stove and drawers without counting the times they walked on top of the surface of the kitchen and no one willing to help.
The lack of friendliness of the staff members was of total disagreement. They were rude and disrespectful when we asked questions about our stay. No one wanted to help me access the rooms; they just threw me the information with the door access code and turned around.
The furniture and beds are already worn out and overused; apart from being dirty and stained, they give off a rotten smell that does not help to have a good time in the room.
I had been in Camelot by the Sea before, and my stay was formidable. My visit could have been better this time, and the room required a little more attention for the high price. Unfortunately, it is sad to see that customer service is the least essential thing in hotels or accommodation services; they only want to make money without investing a little in the products and services they offer.

BED BUGS in room 305! My partner and I stayed here in June 2023 and came home with bed bug bites all over us. Vacasa has done absolutely nothing to address this issue! Please be careful when booking anything with them and do not stay at this hotel. There are plenty of others with better customer service and CLEAN ROOMS!

Beautiful location, by the side of sea, morning cool sea breeze, sun light, from all the rooms of hotel one can see beach, one can have sea, clean water, water pool bath. Enjoy sea bath, sun bath in thier private area. Ample parking, good, polite staff

Got here Sunday morning great view inside looked good pool was nice lots to do here. But.went out for a little late night swim (9: 45) it was fine until we had a little "friend"trying to eat our food aka a Cockroach one of our real friends got it and put it on the other side of a fence and we went on with our swim until we spotted one on the wall we were ok with it until it flew at us, we got out and tried to go in the outside pool until we found a little "friend group" under a chair we didn't mind it until one of the 3 tried running at us I would give this place a 5/5 but when I saw those out of disgust I will give this place a 2/5 and if u want to come here u should but just be aware of these "friends" in ur hotel room or the pool.

The pool area for the kids, the beach access, and some of the super nice staff I spoke with throughout my stay are keeping any star rating here at all.our 3rd level room was dirty, the shower didn't drain, the tv remote didn't work, there were roaches in the kitchen, and the general location to include the inside of the Camelot and parking area is super rowdy and loud every evening. Due to our experience, it just wasn't for us unfortunately.

Good location, room was nice and clean. We had a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) with two cars. They only let you have two cars per room, FYI. My MIL is handicapped with a small wheel chair holder on the back of their vehicle. Upon arriving they were stopped and confronted by front desk staff told to remove it immediately that they don’t allow those in the parking garage. This was very inconvenient and inconsiderate to her disability. After entering the garage we noticed a UHAUL trailer and utility trailer taking up additional spots (jutting out) Why did we have to remove hers but they were able to keep theirs? Really strange. Not sure we would stay again.

Rented some rooms through VRBO/vacasa here and my family and I had an amazing time! Parking was easy and well thought out. I like that the rooms essentially are wrapped around the beach front side of every floor of the parking garage. This makes it easier to park, unload, and go directly to your room from your parking spot. Elevators are fast! And there are two on either side so you aren't waiting long. Pool area is large with plenty of smaller pools and a lazy river. Beach access is amazing also, with showers to wash off the sand. All in all my family and were very pleased with our rooms, the service, pools and beach access. We plan on making this our yearly vacation spot!

Alright condo, need more elevators and more parking. Also more staff to control pool area.

Trash and litter outside the rooms, snow cones gave my son food poisoning, rooms desperately need updated, neighbors partied all night and kept us up, just not a great vacation spot. The pools were nice, but that's about the only redeeming thing they offer. Meh.

The view was beautiful and the room was ok. I was really upset when I saw a large roach in the pool! Ruined the feel of the trip. Great entrance to the ocean and the perfect view from our balcony. The room felt very muggy, needs better insulation on the door. The front desk was very nice and the room was clean. You get what you pay for.

We have been vacationing at Camelot for about 5 yrs now. Overall a nice place but this year we noticed it going downhill. Rooms are nice but could be cleaner. There was mold on our wallpaper in our bathroom and strands of hair on the bathroom door from it not being cleaned. We had a broom but no dust pan. They used to offer lots of "free" offers to guest but most are no longer available. I also hate being questioned about needing more towels. 5 ppl in our room.we like to shower every day.we need at least 5 towels a day. WiFi also was limited.

For our annual trip to myrtle beach, we decided to stay here because we had been here 10 or so years ago and remembered it being a nice hotel. However, the new management has absolutely ruined the hotel. The smell of pot lingers throughout the entire parking garage, and since it is attached to the hotel it all smells like pot. Noises from the parking garage, like car alarms, can also be heard in the rooms, keeping you awake late into the night. When we got up to the room, it was even worse. Peeling rugs, rusted fridge and table, broken closet door, peeling paint, and more. We ended up only staying one night, because we couldn’t stand to stay in a place like this. The view is nice but there are a million better places to stay with the same beautiful view.

The staff at the front desk were rude when checking in. My SIL had changed the rooms from her name to mine, and they had no record of that. The rooms are fine, didn't expect much but they maintenance could be better. WIFI is horrible, as is cell phone reception.

This place was perfect for my family of 6 on vacation! Clean, close to so many restaurants and stores, and beds were comfortable!

Location is great and the staff is helpful when asked. Rooms can be hit or miss depending on if the owner has updated it recently or not at all.

Overall good enough that we keep coming back year after year though!

Our condo was very nice and updated and front desk staff were very courteous. Overall the building needs refreshed and painted. One of the elevators kept breaking down. And the effort to clean windows, floors and carpets could be improved.

Room was VERY clean but free, smoke free. Parking is SUPER convenient, staff is very friendly. Beautiful ocean view. Very nice pools and hot tub. Love this property will book again for sure

Nice location but room was run down and not clean. The room needs a complete update. They didn't supply enough pots and pans. Service was pitiful. Would not recommend this place.

This place is the perfect location, right on the beach and not very far from the Boardwalk. You can walk to everything in a short amount of time. Pools and hot tubs are decent for the hotel. Not very deep so good for young kids. Staff wise, no real issues except you get the feeling you are a burden when asking a question. Rooms were ok, we had 6 in our party and we has enough room, just lots of water damage and rust on items in the room.

We are frequent visitors to Myrtle Beach and was looking for accomodations for the weekend. Most hotels were booked due to the end of July 4th week. This resort is probably the worst resort I've ever stayed in. There is very little parking for any vehicle more than 6'7", the toilet ran all the time (and yes we called down to get it fixed and no one showed up), there was glass in the floor so I had to sweep as soon as I got there, the bed squeaked everytime I rolled over, sat up or when I touched it. The couch was filthy, had to put a sheet over it to sit on it and the door codes to get in are longer than a social security# and almost impossible to enter if you have nails or big fingers. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We left the night before check out because we couldn't bare another night. Hasn't been renovated since 2008! The nicest thing about the hotel was Jenna at front desk when we checked in. The night shift was rude and unaccomadating. I know for a fact I left a personal belonging in the room and was not contacted to let me know it was left there.
