Bob Evans

I placed an order for pickup and arrived to the location where there was only one parking space for pickup. A vehicle was already occupying the space. I called the restaurant as instructed by the directions on the email. The lady began to ask me to place an order, I explained I have already made an online order. She then stated she needed my name sarcastically, even though she never gave me a chance. I assume the same lady was tasked to bring the food to the truck. She began to chastise me for not parking in the correct parking space. I explained it was a vehicle already occupying the space earlier. She stated there is not a vehicle here, I again repeated my statement. She stopped short of delivering my order to my vehicle or myself. I was already out of the vehicle to meet her. She mumble something else, before returning to the restaurant. The service was very unprofessional and this particular lady had an unpleasant attitude.

Love the open atmosphere here and food was awesome. Great staff too. Also has RV parking which is a plus.

We discovered this restaurant while visiting Myrtle Beach. I've heard the name before but never tried it. I'm so glad we did. Will definitely be a place to eat when we are in an area that has one.

I always order the turkey and dressing and sweet tea. The only complaint I have is the price of the Tea. $2.99 is ridiculous!

Our waiter was great and gave great recommendations the food was very filling and tasted good. There's a gift shop inside too

The food was very bad, chicken on the verge of decomposition, almost raw blueberry pancakes, browns with an old oil flavor, rusty and extra crispy that could break a tooth, overcooked corn without salt or butter and it was supposed to be butter corn. My stomach still turns to think how bad that tasted
The service was very good, the girl who served us was friendly, the place was clean and there were not many customers after eating there I understood why 08/19/23

Looking for a great place to eat? Tired of Cracker Barrel? Look no further. This is one of the original Bob Evans. It has the country store at the entrance. Always good comfort food here.

Food was good, customer service stunk. Server never returned to table, even when I asked for one, ended up going behind counter and getting my own coffee refill.

Soooo disappointed. I ordered the Chicken and Noodles deep dish meal tonight for pickup. $10.49 meal with about $5.00 worth of food. What a rip off. No biscuit and small scoop of potatoes with a small scoop of chicken and noodles. Without the biscuit to soak of the juice it was like soup with a blob of potatoes.

1.5 hours after eating breakfast my wife and I both got sick. I had diarrhea and she was throwing up.

We both noticed an odd taste in our food. She finished her's I did not.
Also they were incredibly understaffed. Lastly the place had an odd smell of old mop water. We will not be coming back here.

Sunday morning about 9: 00 there was maybe a 15-minute wait for a table. We were seated in a section with Rebecca as our waitress. She was absolutely the best waitress we've had in years. Very attentive but not hovering. The food was pretty good and very reasonably priced.

Today was a horrible experience. Our waiter spilled drinks all over us and the floor. Picked up the ice but didn't mop. Seemed like he didn't have a clue.

Awsome service great home cooked food. The best banana bread I've had in a long time just overall good southern comfort food

We always get good service! Since the pandemic there has been a turnover in staff! We always try to get one we know! Sarah is really trying to hold it together, She does it all, cooks, cleans tables and works herself crazy, making sure everyone is taken care of in a timely manner! It can be mind boggling at times for her! I don't think headquarters knows the situation they put managers through! Wise up Bob Evans!

Was a bit disappointed. Wait time was appropriate for a Saturday afternoon. Other than our waitress, the staff wasn't very friendly, the food was mediocre at best, albeit fast & hot). The gift shop was more than half empty. Bathroom was a bit messy.
With all this being said, I understand COVID had presented so many challenges to businesses so I'm hoping this was a fluke. Any other visit we've ever had at a Bob Evans (this one included) has always been extremely pleasant.

This place has a C rating and probably for good reason. We showed up wanting to have breakfast only to see the first waitress very obviously on drugs.

The food was ok, I wouldn't brag on it though. Our server was very friendly but never offered drink refills. I can't see this as a my go to place.

Stopped here for an early dinner! Our waitress Mekayla was very helpful, prompt, and extremely courteous! She kept our drinks full and offered togo cups for the road! Food was fantastic. Great customer service will definitely bring me and my family back again!

Dirty dirty dirty restaurant. Non functional restroom facilities, def. Don't want to touch anything. It's sad that this establishment is this bad. Breeder of Covid.

Let me first say I love Bob Evans. They are my UNDISPUTED favorite place to go for breakfast. That hasn't changed. I also want to state that I do work in the restaurant business and understand the challenges many of the restaurants are currently facing. I make it a point to be more patient, understanding, and appreciative of those who come to work. That is why this is an "EXTREMELY" difficult review to write.

We were looking forward to going to Bob Evans for brunch today. It was storming, there were numerous breakfast places closer to our location, but chose to drive an extra 6 miles because we love Bob Evans!
However, this particular location didn't feel the same way about me and my family. We came in and the hostess wasn't in the front. I chalked that up to being short staffed which I could understand. A cashier walked by and said nothing, the hostess came and stared at us without any acknowledgment, another cashier walked by, and stared at us and said NOTHING as well. This happened for at least 10 minutes until we decided to walk out.

The first thing you are suppose to do is ACKNOWLEDGE the customer, even if you are busy. At least that is what I do. "Hello, thanks for coming to _, someone would be with you shortly" Something like that would have sufficed. Needless to say the next time we are at Myrtle Beach will go at the next location which is an additional
4 miles away.

I had the Alaskan cod tonight (first time having it), it was perfectly cooked - crunchy on the breading and moist and juicy inside. The rest of our meal was just delicious according to my family. Our server Jordan was a delight! She kept checking on us and clearing things away as needed, refilling drinks and offered a lovely smile while serving us.

Ate there this morning. Very first customers. Husband liked his biscuits and gravy. My omelet was really cold. The sausage must come pre-made. Tasted like they took it out of the fridge and threw it in. Cheese wasn't even melted. Being the first customers I would have thought a hot breakfast would be easy. Server was polite, not overly happy. Cashier was I guess polite. Not interested in going back.

Score was trashed not enough employees to run the restaurant. The young man waiting we had did an excellent job so well we left him a $40 tip. The store needs to get their act together.

Our server, Alex, was absolutely amazing. He took my dairy allergy very seriously and despite being very busy never once made me feel like I was bothering him with questions. He was courteous, kind, prompt, knowledgeable, and hardworking. The food was great but he really made the experience for us.
