Black Pearl Mini Golf

Loved the ice cream and friendly service by Shannon. We appreciate them being open as we have found many ice cream places in the area closed this time of year

The Black Pearl Mini Golf and old school candy store is a great place for adults and children of all ages. The Manager (Shannon) and staff are so helpful and very thoughtful and customer service is an A+. Would highly recommend

Great little miniature golf course, be sure to stop and get you some ice cream while you are there and play a few games in the arcade

The course was in terrible shape and actually unsafe. The bricks lining each hole were loose and would fall off if you step on them (which all kids do). Steps were broken. Holes in next to the walkways. 90% of the tee mats were missing.

Exceptional customer service! Perfect setup for family fun or like us hubby and wife fun day. We played the arcade games, bought the old school candies, trekked over to their connected ice cream shop to get hot fudge sundaes… we where offered additional options based on the type ice cream we chose. By the way, if you’re a butter pecan lover, you won’t go wrong with praline pecan as a substitute. The mini golf is next but I am sure it’ll be fun too but for now just know, this place is worth the visit! Oh and it’s beautiful sitting and eating the sundaes at the shaded picnic tables overlooking the water and mini golf course.

The golf sucked because it didn't have any good obstacles but the ice cream and candy store saved this review!

Good course, not enough shade, we wilted in the heat and we were off the course by 10: 30.

Not my favorite putt putt place. Pretty boring course. Seemed like every green was a par 2. There weren't really any fun obstacles or anything, it was just all pretty straight forward putting. We were done in under 30 minutes it was so easy and boring. Not worth it.

Would have been much more fun if we could have played all 18 holes. Holes 6 and 7 were closed and being worked on, and the price to play wasn't even discounted.

Looked great and well lit at first from the road. There were very worn and patched carpets on most holes. Many concrete issues as well, not good for elderly people. The cups are very shallow allowing bounce outs. Parties of 10 and 12 are allowed to play together, holding up the entire course. On a busy night, there was a 15 to 20 minute wait per hole.

The Myrtle Beach area has tons of mini-golf locations. Fortunately, Black Pearl MG was located within walking distance of our location. It was a pleasant surprise. Slightly dated but well-maintained. This is a fun entertainmnet location. Besides mini-golf, there's an arcade, fairly full candy store including bulk candy, a very good ice-cream store. The course itself is situated on a man-made lake set to a pirate theme. The course is not all too difficult, most holes being 2-par. But the setting is fun and entertaining. Afterwards, we enjoyed getting some candy then getting some ice-cream. We definitely plan on coming back here.
The only reason for not giving 5-stars is some of the courses has patches and wear on the astro-turf. Also, there's not a lot of parking; its quite dispersed and not centralized. You may have a slight, short walk tot he main center. Otherwise, this is a repeat place to go.

This is a fun place for an evening of family entertainment. The mini golf course is a bit more challenging than it looks but could use some TLC. After golf, browse the large candy store, play some arcade games and by all means, stop by the Mermaid Dream Ice cream shop. They have delicious ice cream in unique and unusual flavors that you will love.

I had an overall great time. There's some good shots, I even got a hole in one on 15! I don't have another reference to other places. Some of the green was tore up, or replaced unevenly in spots. But this isn't the PGA tour. It's for fun. And that's what we had. Overall I would recommend, my only regret is I didn't go at night. I bet it's really nice looking

I've been coming here since I was a kid (40 years now) and can't remember it being any nicer than it was today. Whoever bought and upgraded this place. THANK YOU. It brought back so many memories and I'm so grateful to be able to share this little gem with my 2 year old daughter this morning.

Great place for the family. Gets packed late at night in the summer but still relaxed vibe. Course could have a couple repairs for it to get the 5 star.

Man this place is fun. Not too challenging but very fun with a wonderful atmosphere.

Play a round, you wont regret it.

We had excellent service in the candy shop.
But the prices of the candy where ridiculously high!
Then In the ice cream shop the service was good, the prices was manageable, but I did not like the way they put the toppings on our ice cream. They put the ice cream over the trash can and put the sprinkles on it.

This used to be our favorite place to go. Came here for years every summer. They renovated since we were here last. Mini golf is the same, fun but could use some repairs. Arcade has been downsized and now has rf id cards for games. 4 games (1life per game or more money) for $10 is outrageous. We came here because it was everything under 1 roof. Now they totally ruined one of the things. Guess we'll try something else next year.

This place has potential but are putting greens are terrible Carpets are coming apart cups are shallow In compared to other put put courses this places pricey.

We love playing here. It is a fun course with just enough challenging holes to make for competition. Also good prices!

Great place! Kids had a blast! Staff was super friendly price wasn’t bad. It was a little packed so just be patient and enjoy the time. If you’re in a rush then this isn’t the place for you.

Great family fun with nice store. One of the staff gave a bottle of water to an older lady who got to hot. Thumbs up to them. Would definitely play again.

Pretty fun for putt putt golf but some of the areas needed some repairs (no big deal, just would've 'looked' nicer)

Black Pearl is fantastic! They have an 18 hole mini golf that has ponds and great architecture. Also, they have a gift/candy shop which is on point. If you're hungry, you can grab an ice cream there to boot! Shannon, the manager-at-least, Mackinley and Logan were on staff and amazingly friendly. I cannot recommend Black Pearl enough.

Pretty decent course. Pretty crowded for the holiday weekend. Some course maintenance would be helpful.
The course is not handicap friendly

I go on vacation to myrtle beach and I was so exited this year to have fun at the arcade but was utterly disappointed when I saw they replaced half of the building with a candy store.

Had a great time and a fun and challenging course - it is not overwhelming for younger kids (our youngest player was 4) yet even the adults were no where close to averaging two strokes or breaking par (assuming par is 2 on every hole). Everything was very clean, especially in the food service areas. It was reasonably priced, though there were a few holes where the turf needed to be replaced. It is a shame as everything else about the place was very nice and at $10.00 per round, I do not want to see concrete at the high traffic areas.

We had a lot of fun here. The 18 holes are in a compact space, and sometimes you may wait for your family's next turn. This was in close proximity to our condo in North Myrtle. They also have a candy shop and ice cream shop. Tip: if you want to treat the kids afterwards, take them for ice cream, avoid that candy shop.

All in all it’s a fun miniature golf course, with a game room, and an ice cream shop. I would have rated 5 stars but the golf course needs some repair.

The greens on the course were all torn to shreds. Not what I would expect for someplace that charges that much. Will not be back

Course was a little run down (fountains not working, missing umbrellas) but we still had lots or fun. The ice cream shop is delicious and the arcade is fun too

Stopped by on vacation and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful! I highly recommend you bring your whole family here while traveling through for a fun day out. The Candy shop was extremely clean, modern, up to date, and super cute! Go check them out!

Staff was incredibly kind & fun to be around. Price was GREAT (all day pass for only $16) and it was newly renovated & clean. Highly recommended would be an understatement

My 6 year old loved it we played golf and some games and got some cady we will go back another time for ice cream

Great course, but it needs some attention. Greens need replaced, wooden structures are lacking in places, and the safety gate/rope is hazardous.

If your looking for a place to play mini golf, eat Ice Cream and get an assortment of candy. This Is Your place! Some of the course needs replaced but my Husband and I had a Great Time! You don’t need to look for parking at each place it’s all inclusive.

Fun place to minigolf, and well done course. It was challenging without being frustrating. The atmosphere was excellent for kids.

We stopped in to see what they had and let the kids play in the arcade for a minute. Purchased a game card for $5.00 which was supposed to be 20 tokens. Games take 4 tokens so thought that would be about a quarter each. 3 games and the card was empty. Those working there said it charges a dollar to buy the card. That doesn't explain how 20 tokens were 12. But now I know why there were no customers in there when we got there. Everyone else has figured them out already.

My son and I enjoyed a round of putt putt here while on vacation. Nice little challenging course, quite crowded the night we went but still enjoyable nonetheless.

We had an amazing time here. Our kids love this place. Shannon was an awesome host and the ice cream is unbelievably good. The arcade is tons of fun and they have cool treats, goodies, and toys. I highly recommend going here!

There were four of us that played Friday (4/16/21) and we had a very fun time. The service was great and friendly. It made our day more enjoyable and relaxing. I hope that we get back to NMB to play here again.

Disappointed because after driving 30 miles to play, they were closed even though their website said they were open. Looked like it might be a nice place though.

It’s a great course, but needs some work. All but one hole had very shallow cups/holes and the ball would pop back out. Turf was ripping in some areas but overall in good condition, just needs deeper cups/holes.

We have been there several times and really like the remodel they did inside and the manager is a great person to deal with can't wait to visit and play some golf

Super fun! The management has really done a fantastic job of keeping everything clean which we really appreciated! And the candy and ice cream shop attached makes for a fun resting place after the game. Shannon is super sweet. This will be a regular spot for us when in town.
