The barbecue and any of the other Southern dishes are always delicious. A place that you don't go for the atmosphere you go for the fabulous food.

I first stopped here in summer of '14.it changed my Life! Green Tomato Pie. I ate 1 pie a week. I saw greenhouse stuff n thought I was in wrong place til I smelled smoker!
I'm back!

The food was very good and they give good size portions. The bbq was so good and The green beans were the best ive ever had. Has a nice atmosphere too.

LOVE the sitting areas. We sat by the waterfalls with the koi fishes and the kids were very entertained. Food was so good. We got the pulled pork, brisket, and meatloaf. Yellow and red sauce were very good.

Tried something different today in Summerville, and boy I discovered a gem. I love this place! Will be back just for the atmosphere alone. Food is awesome too!

I mean it when I say this is the best barbecue I have ever had. I’m born and raised in the low country and have never been more impressed with the customer service, the ambiance, and most importantly the food. My boyfriend and I got the brisket plate, the pulled pork sandwich, and for sides we got coleslaw (I have never had better slaw before sorry mom) red beans and rice, baked beans (highly recommend and I don’t eat beans) potato salad with a perfect amount of dill, and a side of the tomato pie. Every single bite was perfect and I can’t remember the last time I had that kind of first time experience. We’re already making plans for our next visit, if you’re looking for amazing barbecue in the low country you’ve found it!

Outstanding food and service! I had a whole BBQ dinner catered for my grandsons graduation party. The food was delivered on time, hot food was hot and cold food was cold. We had over 40 guests and all commented on how delicious all the food was. Everyone ate second servings and we still had leftovers for the Memorial Day holiday! Thank you Bakers BBQ! We will definitely use you again for our next big party and recommend you to everyone we know!

Bakers barbecue allowed us to use their large dining room for a meeting today and it just went wonderfully. They even opened up early so we could use the room and it was just so convenient to eat lunch and have such incredible food at a fair price. They offered 9 different sides and Thursday they offer ribs which were just amazing. My wife had the pulled pork and said it was great along with the Mac and cheese for a side. The staff are amazing and very kind and accommodating. It truly was a wonderful day and I can’t say enough about the food the staff and this restaurant. Thank you. You made our day!

First time here. Had the pulled pork, hash and rice. It was great! A large portion of pulled pork. Staff was friendly and fast.

Just found my new favorite bbq restaurant! The brisket was great, as were the mac and cheese, collards, pulled pork and red rice! The tomato pie was amazing (close 2nd to mine, lol). Atmosphere is so cool!

Sides that remind me of S&S cafeteria and over cooked bbq. Hope these folks read this and see that you cannot hide overcooked, dry meat by soaking it for a few seconds in the aluminum foil pack you serve it in. The vinegar sauce is a poor attempt by only adding sugar and pepper to vinegar and calling it sauce? I only tried the sauce in an effort to try and add flavor to the smokeless meat, no bark and little smoke ring…The place feels dirty and looks like a homeless camp. I can’t even get through this 2 meat plate it’s so bad. I’ve literally eaten at tens of dozens of bbq places across the country and this may very well be the worst I’ve had.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I went there today and got my first meal from Bakers BBQ. It is absolutely the best BBQ I have ever had. The Brisket was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The Brisket Mac N cheese is amazing. If you are looking for good quality BBQ and cooked to perfection, you need to try this place. Family owned business and they are so friendly. I will be going back again soon.

Great BBQ! I don’t know what David in the previous review is talking about, it’s obvious he’s not from around here. The fact all his other reviews are 1 stars as well maybe he should just quit eating. Anyways, the bbq is the best around town and the sides are great! Would recommend to anyone or anyone needing a event catered!

This is the Best BBQ place around. All the food, desert included is great. Dont even bother with the place down the road. Stick with Bakers, everything is delicious and the portions are generous. Thanks Bakers.

I've been coming here for years. Great meats, vegetables and desserts. Service way above the standard and staff very friendly and cheerful.

We really enjoyed sitting near the waterfall and the service/ food/ personel were all very friendly and great. We'll be baclk.

I come out from Florida; over 300 miles to eat here. This cozy place never fails. The brisket is and meatloaf are amazing! Highly recommend this BBQ spot!

I try not to eat pork, so many times I’ll go to a popular chain bbq place and get brisket.the brisket will taste dirty, porky, and the fat will be congealed and inflated. I went here optimistic but unsure. Got the brisket, did not get and bbq sauce though I like it with some. But before I went home Wanted to try a bite of it. And I ended up eating it all in the parking lot. Unsauced. The meat tasted clean, like it was cooked fresh in a clean smoker in only its own juices. Like real care so the flavor of the meat was completely on display.and flavorful it was, a perfect and crispy bark, and the fat was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. I like to go back a few times to ensure it’s not just a fluke, and it wasn’t. Going again was as good as the first. Absolutely phenomenal food and phenomenal service. I’ve been to more than half of the Charleston area restaurants and y’all have the best Mac and cheese I’ve had too.

I ordered food for my son's birthday party. First, im amazed that it was hot enough at pickup to still be hot when my husband got back to st george with it 30 minutes later. Second, im typically not a BBQ fan, family is just not me, but OMG. That was by far the best BBQ I have had. Third, the mac&cheese was amazing and so flavorful. And I really liked that it wasn't elbow noodles, not that I'd have complained if it had been it was just not what I was expecting visually.
My husband and I had never eaten from Bakers BBQ before but we definitely will be from now on. Can't wait until we make a trip out there to eat at the restaurant or for our next big birthday party.

Driven by several times and finally got to stop with the family. Great brisket! Cool atmosphere and very friendly staff. We will be coming back to this bbq!

Excellent spot, excellent food and nice people. Wish they were open longer. If your near Central Ave in Summerville and want BBQ, do not go to LEDYARD! Baker's BBQ has excellent Ribs (which I love) and excellent side.

Tomato pie, Mac and Cheese, and Potato Salad were SO GOOD! I ate inside the enclosed, air conditioned dining room. Cute and cozy! You can watch TV while you eat there, or at the other outdoor eating area by the pond with a little waterfall. I'll eat there next time since the sound of the water was so relaxing.

First, I love BBQ, and SC has some good BBQ, but it’s not my style. I had been hesitant to try here, but after so many recommendations and people telling me they are different from the rest, I gave in. My hubby and I visited for lunch on a Saturday, not too long of a wait to order, and the food was ready very quickly. We wanted to try a few things so I got the BBQ Pork sandwich with red rice and green beans (with white taters in them too!) and the hubby got the brisket with Mac and cheese and baked beans. We also snagged a piece of red velvet cake while there was a piece left. I wish we could have tried here sooner. You can smell the meat as soon as you enter, the serving portions are huge, but best of all the bbq is downright delicious, with sauce served on the side. Sauces are simple with 3 types available but they are done right and they are good. I’m not a vinegar BBQ fan, but the sweet red and mustard are actually quite good. The cake, I can’t even say enough. It tasted like grandma made that cake for the church dinner! Highly recommend and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Great food! Good down home comfort food. We had meatloaf and bbq both very good but in truth we expected that. What we did not expect was how great the side dishes were. Excellent mac-n cheese, sweet potatoes and my husband could not stop talking about how good the green beans were. Loved the old home eclectic style.

Open Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays Their BBQ is Awesome! My 1st visit was today, ribs were just fall off the bone fabulous! Several delicious sides to choose from! Will be back Friday or Saturday (brisket days)!

This place is an absolute Gem! I can't believe it took me so long to try out - but now that I have, I'll be returning often. Best barbeque sandwich and red rice ever!

Walk into ab old country store and order some of the most delicious bbq! By far Summerville’s best kept secret! Brisket Mac and cheese is fire! Pulled pork is amazing. And once you pay for your food they have a patio outside with a waterfall pond that quiets any noise heard from the road!

Food was great. BBQ was delicious, and Brunswick stew had lots of meat. For three people, we paid less than we sometimes pay for two people at some other places. You can eat inside or in the covered area with the plants and artificial pond. For those who lived in Goose Creek for years, they have the old Silver Winn hardware store sign.

The service was friendly and fast. The food was really good.bbq pork, collards, Mac n cheese, slaw. Haven't tried anything else yet, but looking forward to the tomato pie and chocolate bourbon pecan pie. The family meal deal is worth it, but not 5 stars bc the price of the pies and individual items. Had the food to go, but the place is charming with an antique vibe.

It was my first visit and a wonderful experience food was amazing. The decor and flowers everything was just great would recommend this place for anybody
