W New York - Times Square

Very unpleasant hotel staff unlike the security people who are very friendly.

The hotel charged us ok city fees on our deposit but also telephone charges for no reason after protesting which they withdrew.

Location ok but the rooms are old even in the suites.

There are much better things in Times Square.

The hotel and the rooms are clean, the staff is courteous and helpful. It is next to the Times square so while I was on the 35th floor there was still some noise that I could hear.

Very nice place to stay! Stayed for 2 nights and went to the Taylor Swift concert on one of those nights. Came back super late but was still greeted with a smile. Amazing View and Location!

Comparing with other Marriotts in manhattan, room size is average but cleaner. Great location if someone wanna go timesquare or Rockefeller center, but it doesn’t feel like ‘W’, but normal 2-3star hotel. Offsite parking is too far from the hotel so i paid $100 for valet including tax.

My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement for 5 nights at the W and were so pleased with the service and location. The room was large for NYC and had nice modern touches. A desk agent named Nancy made our entire stay. She was so kind and accommodating and went the extra mile by delivering chocolate and wine when I mentioned what we were celebrating. Thank you Nancy! You deserve a raise!

Great location. That's it. Rooms arent laid out well and smell funny. Gym is awful for the price and lobby bar area is dark with zero windows. Vibe isn't there. If you want to stay in the area, pick another hotel.
