The Peninsula New York

The hotel has regressed over the years. It’s a five star hotel but had to carry own suitcases up the flights of stairs and to our suite - no greeting or welcome at the door either. The room wasn’t clean, with a palm print on the mirror, dusty shelves and the shower hadn’t been cleaned between guests - there was even hair left on the shower wall. Housekeeping was too busy to take calls and none of the requests were honoured - like additional pillows or extra water in the room - nothing too difficult to do. The steps and sidewalk outside the hotel are dirty and littered with trash - it’s the responsibility of the hotel to clean these areas. Let’s hope the hotel can find staff and management worthy of a five star establishment - they are very far this at the moment. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Went here for cocktails and to see their lobby for the Christmas tree.always really well done

Their lounge Clemente is a great spot to chill. Staff is always very nice

Absolutely loved our time at The Peninsula. Adrien at the reception desk was incredibly helpful, kind, and full of good information about the city. He made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. All of the bellhop and staff at the entrance were always friendly and attentive. Our room was lovely and excellent size. The location was perfect and we plan on staying here every time we visit the city.

This place is the pinacle of luxury and ultimate service and attention.everywhere you notice how much they care about your safety and attention, with so much respect and discretion, the location is at the cream of all the most amazing brands and griffes.walking distance to luxury and what you aim in life.in itself a life experience of what is Possible and why we do what we do.to spend some time, a meal, enjoy a beverage at "The Peninsula " My feeling and recalling some " John Wick " movies made it more interesting.
. Somehow I had the impression I would meet Keenu Reeves at the Lobby.
I would probably pass out.

We went there for our 30th anniversary, a year late. They greeted us and welcomed us back, even though the last time we were there was 1999! Loved the hotel, the service and it's prime Fifth Avenue location.
The rooms might feel a little dated but they're very beautiful. Phones in the bathroom! No coffee maker? No bathroom fan? Still great.
Hunnan on the rooftop restaurant was a real gentleman.

Really liked our 4 days stay here. The staff were outstanding! Even leaving a gift in the room after the Broadway show we saw.

Great location for which they will ensure you pay for. Dress immaculate when going to their restaurant, I was easily out of place in my Bay area attire and was politely asked if I can have my breakfast at the pantry outside the breakfast area

This hotel is clean, staff and doormen are helpful. When i travel to New York, this is my favorite hotel

The Peninsula is alway THE BEST! There are hotels that come and go but it is touch to beat the consistency and quality that you get at the Peninsula in NYC! Some of the rooms don't have the best views, which is OK as long as you are aware. You will still have an incredibly comfortable room with spectacular service. The other hotel features (room service, spa, bar etc are top notch. Every employee give 110% 24/7. The concierge can work wonders as well!

Hotel is kind of falling apart and desperately needs updating. The service, as you will have at ANY peninsula hotel, is absolutely phenomenal. I love this chain for this reason alone. But for what they cost, y’all need to make some serious renovations.

Disappointing. Feels like never was renovated since built. Rooms and public areas should be cleaner. I put on "do not disturb", but when came back from a walk there was a stuff in my room! The bar on the rooftop is not for hotel guests, I came there and was no available place there. Peninsula? Not in NY!

Das Peninsula besticht durch seine Lage zentral in Midtown am oberen Ende der Fifth Avenue. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen, egal ob Concierge, Rezeption, Bar oder In-Room-Dining. Dieses Hotel ist 'Very New York'. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Unbelievable! A tourist dream destination. Central to everything in Midtown, New York City. Ultra Luxurious Rooms. A Great Wedding / Anniversary / Birthday Gift. Minimum of two nights. Food & Staff excellent, excellent.

Thanksgiving meal is not worth the $295 per person, incl tips. 'Fresh' prawns were watery and tasteless.

Very nice hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. There is a big gym. The breakfast was very delicious and a nice view from the rooftop. The staff was also very friendly courteous.

Great place! The spa includes a relaxation room, tea room, sauna, heat room, showers, and access to the pool and roof deck. Very relaxing and good value for money!

Oasis beyond.private hide aways and/or eats far far away from the hustle and bustle. Or so it seems. (Highly recommend the hotel & the entire area)
It’s on the rise.or will be after it’s many wonderful secrets gets out. Next new hotspot.

The view is spectacular and maybe just maybe makes it worth visiting. The staff was barely friendly.a little uppity and the appetizers were ok. You are definitely going here for the view, the experience and nothing more than that.
