Both me and family have stayed at this hotel! Highly recommended! The staff are friendly, and the rooms are great!

Its a hostel, rooms small but if you trying to stay on a budget is great option. Bringing slippers, shared bathrooms are the biggest down side. Everything is clean no issues there

The room was clean and with a nice view. Small, of course, but just right for my needs. All the shared bathrooms were clean, which was a positive surprise. The roof terrace is also clean and the downstairs neighbor has excellent burgers!

Great place if you want to walk everywhere! Of course, the metro station is right around the corner. Cleaning service every day. We had a room with a private bathroom, although the room was small but absolutely sufficient, we only went there in the evening. Hygiene supplies available for accommodation. The air conditioning works, maybe a little more noise, but after all the days of exploring New York, we fell asleep quickly anyway. 24/7 reception and a very nice approach. In the vicinity, the possibility of a supermarket in a really short distance, the possibility of a lot of food or a bar in the vicinity. I definitely recommend it and next time we will probably stay in Pod 51 again! And their absolutely great terrace is beautiful, famous view and comfortable seating. The price was acceptable considering where the accommodation is located.

Hotel extremely well located and with a very friendly atmosphere. Small room but with very good use of space and enough for one person. I've enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend

It is a hotel in a very visible place, well accommodated, with great services and a good location.

Really enjoyed my stay at Pod 51. The location is close to many restaurants, bars and cafes. Furthermore, it is close to the subway. Rooms are very clean with minimal amenities. The staff is excellent. They will do anything to help you. And the shipping company they use for transfers is the best. I strongly recommend

I've never been to the hotel. They just gave me a blow to make me evaluate the place positively. I don't even know if it actually exists, so don't trust the reviews, after all, most people don't even know the place. Be careful with scams, guys

Highly recommend! Without a doubt I would stay again. Obviously, the more economical price compared to other hotels in the city comes with limitations. The room is quite compact, it doesn't have a fridge, the hotel also doesn't have a microwave, but it's extremely clean, well located for those who don't mind using the subway, the elevators are fast. It has many good points. I only had a problem with my payment, as the receptionist charged the daily rates on the card I made the reservation even after I had paid the entire accommodation in cash. What I managed to reverse immediately by going to customer service and I got my money back. It was a scare, but it all worked out in the end.

I’ve sent performers to corporate events on location all over the country and have never experienced such poor customer service upon check in. In early September, my performer arrived at 2am due to a delayed flight so I called ahead to make sure the front desk would be able to receive her. I was told that I couldn’t pay for the reservation in advance but that she could request a credit card authorization form upon arrival. I was off-site (but paying the bill.) At check in, she was informed this wasn’t the case, told to find a room elsewhere, and treated with complete lack of concern since she didn’t personally have a credit card available for payment. She was told she could not even wait in the lobby area while we sorted out the situation and mocked openly by desk personnel when she told them I was attempting to call to make payment. Not only was the desk attendant (George) discourteous and unprofessional but the staff overlooked my credit card authorization form and attempted to remove my performer from her room due to an “unpaid balance” the following day. Upon recognizing their error, there was no apology or assistance given to my performer, who was very shaken by the ordeal. The accommodations were lovely, it was only the poor service that spoiled the experience entirely. The staff said this mix up with credit cards happens all the time, so I think it would benefit them to assist with solutions to avoid this situation upon check in, especially when tired travelers with existing reservations are arriving late at night. It is quite an unusual policy not to be able to make credit card payment online or by phone.

This was an indeed pleasant experience.
Pod 51 is one of few options if you are traveling Manhattan with budget, located in the eastern part in a very right location close to almost everywhere you would like to be in the city. You can literally walk to 70% of the touristic spots.
The place is clean, shared bathrooms were always clean, the room as well (although its indeed tiny, but it works).
There are very nice common areas rooftop and ground floor, and a bar downstairs.
Wifi was super, and the access was always easy, never faced any problem.
The staff is professional, and helpful.
What Else? I guess you will get what you have paid for in this expensive city.

Without a doubt one of the best places I've ever stayed, very modern, cozy, the service is excellent.

Guys, these are fake comments, don't fall for it. They tell other people to comment and like with 5 stars and they pay people to do that

The hotel loses 2 stars overall due to no option for a fridge!

Also, no option for a kettle. When staying on one of the higher floors and coming in from Europe, it's ROUGH to have to go downstairs to get hot water for tea.

Other PODs have this option. I encourage POD 51 to do the same!

Also, the airco is LOUD. But I've been able to get very good sleep as we are no longer in a heatwave.
