Q: Do all employees get to take home food in to-go containers (with silverware) into their bags with breakfast? Be discreet it about maybe.
-
Location was prime for me:
- 3 min walk to subway
- 15 min walk to the bridge / Cobble Hill

Super friendly staff. I used points to book this place since there's no way I'm paying $600 per night for this 3 star hotel. There's a school / playground next door to the hotel so don't plan on sleeping late on the weekdays

Rooms were good. Hotel wasn’t accommodating. We reserved rooms with 2 beds and one sofa. They for some reason didn’t give us one with a sofa which we needed because there was one extra person. They made me go floor to floor looking for a room with a sofa. I wasted a hour doing this when this was their job. Didn’t even up getting the one with a sofa and the hotel said too bad.

This is the worst 4 star hotel we’ve ever stayed. The carpet is dirty, water pressure is too weak, and room service does not really exist. Room cleaning was missed for some day and we had to call 3 times to finally have bottles of water delivered. Front desk staff is rude and all seem to hate their jobs. Avoid this hotel!

Make sure to use HoteIDully. ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure!

The staff were very kind, respectful, and friendly. Hot breakfast. Quiet place. Gym, roof top, supermarket nearby, city pool (free) across the street (just bring a lock for your belongings), 5-10 minute walk to local shopping area, the Barclay arena, and many places to eat.

Friendly staff, good location, chlorine smell in room, carpets smell (what’s up with all the carpets in hotels in the US!), phone to reception did not work, tv did not work without being plugged out and in again, humongous reserve on our card, no free internet, breakfast not included, bar good and friendly but expensive.
It’s ok, maybe good but I expected more for the price and the 4*.

Booked a room at the Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge for a wedding. Due to the sudden rise of Omicron, and the increasing risks, the wedding was canceled.

I paid for cancellation protection because I was aware there were risks but my cancellation window closed on December 25th, while we were all doing what we could to enjoy family. I contacted the hotel hours later on the 26th but was denied my refund and charged, literally, 1/2 of the total room costs for 3 days as a ‘penalty’. Not only that, it’s taken 3 weeks to get the hotel to even address my appeal.

Be aware, consideration for Acts of God and the health of would-be clientele do not appear a high priority for this hotel. Better you waste your money or risk getting sick.

And on a date when they absolutely could have filled the rooms; NYE in New York. Likely they made twice the profit by selling the room to someone else.

Profit + profit = more profit, I guess.

Hotel is a little underwhelming for the room costs. The hotel "restaurant" is extremely underwhelming and crazy expensive even for NY convenience prices. Lobby is partially under construction and that doesn't exactly add much to the experience, there were even small shards of glass on the floors in the hallways. STAFF saved this place 100%. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and prompt. Housekeeping did an outstanding job in the rooms, front desk was always on the ball, even the day time bell hops were great. I'd stay again simply because of the staff if nothing else.

Room was clean but we heard jackhammer road construction 6 stories down until 12: 30am. Not Marriott’s fault except windows were not very sound proof. Club lounge was not open on weekends. Weekdays we had to leave lounge by 10am. Hotel was lacking consistency in their service professionalism. Some excellent, some lackluster.

New York Marriot at the Brooklyn Bridge is well managed and very clean. The hotel has excellent staff - they are proactive and very helpful. My family had booked a long stay over Christmas 2021, and we were extremely satisfied with the rooms and the hospitality offered by Marriot and Brooklyn in general. We will definitely be back!

Hotel was nice. Looks like they were in the middle of renovations. The room was nice and had a great view of the BB and the Statue of Liberty

Very nice stay at this Marriot. The entire staff was great. Very friendly, efficient and helpful. This hotel is immaculate, well maintained and in a very safe location. The rooms have been updated and large with high ceilings and large windows. Beautiful big hotel, I really loved the room, it came with a large lounge style sofa and table. I highly recommend the Marriott Brooklyn bridge hotel.

Thanks.

Staying at the Brooklyn Marriott in essence was decent but the customer service is lackluster at best. I haven’t been home to NYC in awhile due to being in the military so my wife and I and our friends took some time out to visit NYC for the holidays. We stayed at the Brooklyn Marriott and it really left a lot to be desired. THEY made a mistake and checked in the WRONG Kevin Smith. I get it.what are the odds two people with the same name would be at the same hotel — also, they could’ve easily paid better attention. Their remedy to the situation was to charge us for the incorrect room AND the correct room therefore creating quite the hold on my card. Not fun at all during the holidays + a trip. Here we are upward of 10 days later and I’m still waiting for a refund. It’s as if *I* owe THEM money. Initially Jeff tried to help but on Thursday he spoke with my wife and suddenly had amnesia on the situation and who the Smith party was despite Jeff being the one who started this whole mixup. Additionally Maria/Marie was extremely rude to both my wife and I when we initially wanted to find out about all these charges on my card. This was physically at the Marriott in which she was rude to us. But no worries, Tuesday morning, bright and early, (because I am going to allow them one more day), I will simply dispute the additional $500 charge on my bill. Happy Holidays and don’t stay at the Brooklyn Marriott!

Well, no room service? For the price I paid I fully expected room service. No hot tubs? Which is fine as I'm sure they would've been closed like the pool. Just keeping my fingers crossed they have shuttle service to JFK. Will not stay here again. Airbnb from here on out.

Perhaps they changed the phone number. I've called several times after midnight, all I get is a fast busy.

Great staff, VERY helpful. A very stressful travel experience with multiple snafus meant that we arrived after midnight, three hours after our expected arrival. They were sympathetic and helpful, beds were wonderfully comfortable. We both slept more than eight hours it was so comfortable.

Will return when we return to Brooklyn.

Rooms are bigger than expected (couch, desk, table etc). Fairly quiet on the floors, even near elevators. Room was in good shape, seemed clean with some items in our room sealed with plastic too. Doormen helpful, coffee and bagels in lobby. Not in the most interesting location but easy to access. Also! You can absolutely park on the streets around hotel - don’t pay for parking.
11 September 2021 11:16
Quiet, clean, comfortable room. Service from parking to check in courteous and efficient. Friendly. Loses a point for expensive parking $50. Great location very near pedestrian access to Brooklyn Bridge. Easy walk to ferry and trendy Dumbo.
31 August 2021 5:05
Me and my mom was tired and flustrated and ready to get to our room. The customer service rep named Shannon was great. She helped us with Door dash she explained the parking procedure And she was great. Kudos to her. She needs a bonus, raise and a promotion.

Bed had a huge brown stain on it, the shower wasn't working.

The front desk woman was rude. I wouldn't remind my worst enemy to go there
31 July 2021 5:20
There was someone else’s underwear and socks left in the room. When called the front desk and spoke with the manager Michael, he didn’t do anything about it, didn’t offer another room and worst of all was very disrespectful.
25 July 2021 17:13
Spacious Rooms water pressure in shower could be better. Close to downtown Brooklyn the Bridge is a couple blocks away. Food is everywhere.
05 July 2021 3:13
Nice place to stay. The location is very central. Well not as central as in Manhattan but not as far either. I would recommend marriott at Brooklyn to everyone. Big clean rooms and friendly staff. Thanks Marriott, will be back soon.
04 July 2021 3:51
Tired and dirty. No bar after 3 PM. ROOM clean but skimpy. No chair to sit other than desk chair. Small drawer only
30 June 2021 6:58
This place is very nice, but the service is AWFUL.

We pulled out of our car, and within two seconds there was a hotel staff member shouting at me. When I asked him where to park he said to ask inside.

The desk agent was rude.asked us our name more than once because he wasn't paying attention.

They didn't clean our room. Didn't even come into it as far as I can tell - no fresh bed linens and no clean towels.

These jokers can drop dead if they think I'll ever spend a penny here again, which is a shame because the hotel itself is very nice inside.

Stayed here for work and the staff is just so welcoming. Smiles all around and very polite.

The Hotel:
The hotel has a great gym to stay in shape while on vacation or traveling while you work. In the mornings you can go down to the cafe and treat yourself to a nice latte before starting your day.

Location:
The location is amazing, you walk out and look to your right to see the Brooklyn Bridge. Traveling is a breeze with the metro all very close. If you need any items, Target is a short walk away and if you need something for your sweet tooth, grab a friend and head to Mia’s Bakery.

The Rooms:
Amazing, the suite is great and the other rooms all keep noise out on the street.

Next time I’m in Brooklyn, I will be booking with the Marriott!

Beautiful hotel, very clean, very nice staff. Great central location. Close to shopping and great food.
22 June 2021 11:41
The room was nice and big the shower was good, I didn’t like the decor of the room, they could have had more nicer decor and furniture, the bed was nice and big though overall was a nice stay
22 June 2021 8:46
Courteous front desk staff and concierge. Excellent hospitality and accommodations. Clean and all hygienic procedures on point for COVID. I loved my stay here.
19 June 2021 17:21
It's NEW YORK SO DON'T ask about parking in which they do have. Excellent service overall plus they have a gym.
18 June 2021 12:48
It was very clean and beautiful room. The only think that I didn't really appreciate was that breakfast and the parking fees are not included in the room's cost, also the pillows. I woke up with a pain in my neck because they were very flat and u can tell they were used a lot. On overall I like the room and the view and it is very clean and organized.
16 June 2021 15:36
Excellent staff. Beautiful decor. Not as clean as I'd like, the floor needed vacuuming and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
13 June 2021 3:19
Overall, nice place to stay in Brooklyn. Clean, easily accessible and great room sizes for a NY hotel. Be warned, room 435 is right outside of housekeeping storage closet. Don't plan to sleep in because you will be awakened by the very loud chatter of housekeeping as get their day started.
28 May 2021 17:51
Very clean with covid safety restrictions. Loved that they had a clear bag over the remote to indicate it was sanitized. The rooms were modern with a mural of Brooklyn Bridge on the wall. Loved the neutral colors throughout the room! It was a very comfortable experience!
19 May 2021 22:52
Check in was ok. Hotel seems to have gone under renovation. Rooms are a nice size though look cheaply made. Hotel seems to be hosting a part "Covid hotel" part regular hotel. There was groups of people in the hallway and lots of noise throughout the night. Parking was expensive and confusing as hell. Took over 10 min to park and the same to get the car back. Had a week reservation stayed only one night and moved to a different hotel. Also was charged random charges during the stay.
09 May 2021 14:27
Parking is a big pain in the neck at this hotel. It was $50 which in and of itself was not a shock but that was for self parking. Signage inside the lot was confusing and we never did find the kiosks that signage told us to use for payment. We ended up finding an employee in the lot who helped us by accepting payment in the office instead of the kiosks. He said people always complain about difficulty finding those things. The hotel was acceptable but not great. We go to Brooklyn fairly regularly but will not stay here again.
