Really easy to get to. Amazing staff. Just a great experience. The pool was really nice and clean. The rooms were really nice and we had a great stay.

This was our first stay at this Marriott in Long Island, New York. I want to thank the staff for their friendliness. We enjoyed our overnight stay. It was exceptionally clean our executive suite was very comfortable. We also enjoyed complementary breakfast. The made to order omelets were delicious.

Marriott Melville LI is fantastic for many reasons. First, the convenient location off the LIE (495), Route 110 and Walt Whitman Road. Secondly, the front desk staff and concierge staff is very attentive and friendly, accommodating all their guests. The rooms are modern, clean and the hotel had plenty of seating and caters for all lesiure and business guests. Karina from the lounge is always helpful and friendly!

Alissa and Jake were amazing from the start! Alissa met me with a warm welcome and Jake recommended an upgrade due to me becoming ambassador after this stay! First time here and will definitely come back due to service! These 2 deserve a gold!

Also Anna in the M Lounge was so personable and super friendly! She gave me local recommendations and made me feel special for my member status! Great employees!

No washer dryer in The entire Hotel. Really
Is this a standard Meriot holds?
There a swimming pool and no way to dry your cloths.

Look. I have never been to a hotel that could possibly cover everything I look at when defining clean. Probably cus I can't afford them. This place was very clean. If I was to give any criticism, it's little things like the bathroom vent could have been dusted or the return vent for the air conditioning/heat was a little loose. Nothing that would effect a stay. The room was modern and comfortable, the bed and linens were super comfy. I'd come back again if I'm in the area.

Stayed here recently the service was excellent! The staff was out of this world and their rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant inside was great too!

$14 for a 24oz domestic draft. The bartender can only do one thing at a time. No multitasking here. You will be waiting and waiting and waiting. The whole place is staffed by kids who know absolutely nothing about what their job might be. They bring out a meger buffet then just stand around when it is obvious that there are not enough seats for everyone attending. I have to direct them to bring in more seats. They don't bring in enough. I got enough for my party and let the children go back to standing around. It was expensive and pathetic.

If I could give zero stars I would. THEY GAVE OUR ROOM AWAY ON A WEDDING TRIP. We reserved our room and show up to be told because we were late they just gave it away. The front desk told us they had negative rooms available because their business practice was to overbook the hotel. Imagine attending a wedding and having no place to return to after a long night eating and drinking. This place is an absolute disaster.

The staff here is amazing. They are so lovely and go out of their way to make the guests feel welcome. I never felt like I was imposing, and every request was handled with kindness and grace. And it was every single person that worked here! Amazing.

Appearance-wise, it’s a beautiful hotel but the room quality was horrible. The noise from the hallways and in the room next to us were so loud it sounded like the people were in our room. Any time someone flushed a toilet in their room you could hear the pipes. The doors were heavy and we kept hearing them slam all night. We stayed for a wedding and there were other wedding parties booked; the room next to us had a group of drunk guys yelling and fighting with each other all night. I get people being up around 12-1 as we were, but by 4am they were still screaming and we had to call the front desk. Overall was overpriced for what it was: looks pretty but not a quality hotel. Do not stay here if you have a business trip and actually need to get quality rest.

Nice room, but not happy with the air conditioning in the room. Had temp.set at 65, and the room still wasn't cool. Also, the room wasn't clean, ran out of towels. You could here the TV in the room next to knew when they went to the bathroom. I feel the price of the room for 3 days was overpriced.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My family and I stayed two nights in a dungeon of a room located at the center of the hotel, with no natural light at all. We had a sliding window that we had curtains over the whole time because it opened to the hallway. It made us feel horrible because we had no concept of time which made all of us feel very bad, lots of negativity. Do not stay here.

5 Star experience in a 4 Star Hotel. First of all, the hotel facility is TOP NOTCH. The rooms are comfortable, the lobby area spacious and their restaurant/bar called "The Great Room" is pure innovation with its comfortable spaces for guests.

We contacted Trish Maulo in 2019 to book an event for our daughter's wedding in 2020. And then after Covid hit, we rebooked for September, 2021. The wedding was a terrific life cycle event and our family and friends were universally pleased with the high level of service.

This is of course a time that hotel's are still reeling form the affects of being short staffed. In particular the front desk staff led by Allison and Hana were amazingly efficient in checking people into the rooms (we gave them a priority list for each day).

We also hosted a brunch for our guests and again Marriott hospitality shined. Debbie Schmidt and the food/bev team was terrific. The combination of good food and superior service was a perfect way to conclude the celebrations.

All of this is under the leadership of their GM, Walid Awad. He is a hospitality professional who's team is raising the bar at the time that other hotels may be suffering from "Covid Excuses".

Where do I start. My friends and family all booked rooms for my Nieces wedding on August 28th. We were quoted one price but was charged more at the end of our stay. There was a shortage of staff so when we went to the bar/restaurant for dinner we had to wait for our beverages and food for over 45 minutes. The prices were outrageous as well. My Niece had a signed contract for an after party at the bar after her reception was over at another venue. When we all arrived back to the hotel we were denied service and told the bar was closed. We asked to speak to the manager and when he arrived, he told the Bride and Groom that he did not care about the contract they had in writing and was not going to look into the issue or call any other supervisors because they were closed for the evening. He was very rude as he was talking with my Niece and her new Husband. My Niece was very upset and crying and the guests that came back to the hotel were also upset and disappointed at how the manager was treating the Bride and Groom. My Niece went to the front desk and she was told that there is nothing they can do. It is a shame that they lost so much money that they could have made in the one hour of service my Niece was promised but denied! I did not get the name of the bar manager that was on duty the night of August 28th but I did snap a picture of him. I will not rest until he is reprimanded and held accountable for his actions and my Niece and her husband are compensated for the mismanagement of the Marriott. I am also forwarding this review to the BBB and my Nieces Attorney.

This Hotel is beautiful.
The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfect. The lobby is beautiful and spacious. Plenty of parking. Whenever I am traveling overnight I always stay at a Marriott. They are by far my favorite hotels.

There was no vent in the bathroom no microwave and at the last min there was no handicap rooms when reservations was made a year ago! The event I attended was great but the fancy mirror didn't give u enough light to put on make-up!

The customer service was average. I requested extra amenities days in advance and did not receive anything I requested even though the app said fulfilled. There was nothing about the service that I would give 5 star. The room needed severe improvement. We stayed two nights and had encounters with 3 spiders which were all found in our bathroom. The shower walls had mildew and black mold. The edges of the toilet and base board in the bathroom were dingy and dusty. Our room was also dusty everywhere. The ironing board was filthy and the iron itself was broken and stained my clothes. The hotel has an overpriced restaurant and the service was terrible. We wanted to eat there because of convenience however, when approaching the entrance, a female server abruptly said, “Sit anywhere! Just pick a table! ” And when I asked her if the papers by the entrance where the menus she again answered as if we were annoying her. Also, I did not see a kids menu and didn’t bother asking considering we felt I unwelcomed. Our overall experience was not terrible however, we will not be staying there again. We have stayed at Marriott partner hotels that have better service and are 100 times cleaner than this Marriott.

Awful. I am currently staying at your Melville Marriott property in NY.

I understand that due to Covid restrictions some amenities were restricted. I made two pool reservations when I checked in for my family for 1 night on 6/6, one at 2 pm and one for 8 pm.

For background, my local dance studio was here using the facilities for a recital.

They came out of the recital later than expected and when we tried to use our 8-9 pm slot at 8: 45 for 15 MINUTES we were told that the pool was closed. Which was false when the sign (both on old and new covid restriction one) indicated it closed at 10 pm. See attached. When I went to the front desk to inquire they were extremely unhelpful and nasty, accusing me of lying AND arguing a point that was moot.

They had no business disappointing 2x 10 year olds and angering parents that paid $200 for 1 night in a sub par property at best. I will no doubt share this info with my dance studio who rented out the ballroom at this property at a premium cost I am sure.

This solidifies my preference for other properties and the fact that I am a Hilton preferred guest.

Rest assured, I will be sure to share this experience on my social, travel channels and with friends, family and colleagues.

To be completely honest this entire hotel is a complete discards. First of all, you have to make stupid reservation to go in a swimming pool. Also I could have sat at a table for a weekend and still not been served. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I stayed at this hotel for a wedding over memorial day weekend. Overall, the venue was beautiful and the hotel staff did a good job of contact tracing for each guest prior to each event.
However, throughout my stay, I had consistent problems with my room key and getting in through the door. I had the front desk replace my key 5-6 times, and around 2am of my second night there, I was completely locked out of the room (even the master key from the front desk was not able to unlock the door). Finally, after telling me multiple times there was no other way to get into the room besides the key card (since most workers were not in office due to the long weekend and the late hours), the manager was able to manually override the lock and let me in. She assured me the key would work perfectly after that, but it still took 4-5 tries each time to get into the room every subsequent time, to the point where I was nervous to leave my room except for any absolutely necessary reason.
The next morning, I spoke to the front desk about being locked out of my room at 2am, and they offered to give me extra rewards points for the inconvenience — even though they knew I am not a Marriott rewards member. They told me someone would reach out to me after the long weekend to discuss this further, but I had to call twice because I didn't hear back from them when they told me I would. Finally, on the third call, the manager offered to give me a partial refund for one night, even though I had had this issue throughout my stay.
While the hotel itself is beautiful, I don't think I'll be staying at Marriott again, because this could've turned into a potentially dangerous situation if there had been an emergency or a child stuck in the room with no way of opening the door from the outside and the staff was initially very unhelpful about both getting into the room as well as the next morning.

I’m a lifetime platinum member and have stayed in hundreds of Marriotts throughout the country. The Marriott in Melville is absolutely the worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed in. They put me in a room with my young children directly above the lobby and next to the ballroom. They had the loudest most obnoxious loud party that went deep into the night and the hotel management refused to do anything about it. The front desk employee was rude and inconsiderate. She was totally dismissive of my complaint and responded that “they paid to rent the ballroom”, when I told her my young children who were here for a baseball tournament couldn’t sleep because of the incredibly loud music and party going on. If I could give this hotel negative stars I would. Also, no housekeeping, the room was filthy and the service was terrible. Stay far away and find any other hotel on Long Island.

I attended an event here in December 2019 that was without a doubt the BEST day of my life (check my celeb crush tab on my Yelp page ;]). There were no signs for the event upon entering the hotel and the staff didn't seem to know where it was or even about it. When I approached the bar and asked the bartender, he had no idea but said there was a bunch of women off to the side. I knew that was the one. The area was open and spaces for pretty much everyone (30 women) to sit. The area was well-lit which was good for picture/video taking.

After the event, about 12 of us got dinner. The restaurant moved tables together so we could all sit together. The wait staff was attentive. Despite requesting 11 checks, there were no mistakes. The BBQ burger I had was excellent.

Actually, I don't know much about this place and I go there for a job appointment drug test. It is a huge hotel with bar, dining place, and much more. The receptionists are very kindly with helpful guidance too.
