Room was lovely and location was great. The only issue I had was there was a $400 hold deposit on my card when arriving… I know you get this back after your stay, however $400 was a lot of my savings that i had to actually spend in NYC, so to get it taken as soon as I arrived was a shock!

The cost to stay here does not reflect the experience we had. (High cost, low experience)
We expected that staff would welcome you, we got more frowns than a welcome. We would expect that the rooms are serviced daily, this is not the case, it is every other day, and when we found this out and asked for some fresh towels, these never arrived. The room was OK, we were on the 30th floor so at least it was fairly quiet, however being opposite the lifts, noise from the corridor was noticeable. The main improvement for the room would be better lighting.
We will not stay in this location again, there are too many other options to consider next time.

Ridiculous lift experience, it's easier to get a cab than get into the lift, we waited 7 minutes in average. And the rest nothing special at all

On arrival our room had a filthy carpet and floor, a broken safe and broken hair dryer. The hotel uses breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. 1 per person per day. These weren’t ready on arrival and we spent the first three days having to ask for them every morning (and wait for them to be written out).

Hilton has a terrible maid service policy where your room won’t be cleaned and made up every day unless you ask for it. WE DID, but this wasn’t passed on so after walking around NYC all day and arriving back at our room late at night, we found our beds unmade and towels on the floor were we left them. We spent 3 days of our 5 day trip repeatedly asking for our filthy carpets to cleaned and our safe fixed.

The biggest problem at this hotel is poor communication between staff and this translates to a poor experience for the guest. The majority of ladies on the front desk that we dealt with have perfected such an elite level of nonchalance that rather than be annoyed, I found myself actually impressed at their level of complete apathy towards any of our issues.

I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

After switching from another Hilton property at the last minute, my daughter and I were exhausted when we arrived. Priscilla welcomed us immediately upon arrival, gave us water, and our keycards. She was so kind and understanding. We ordered delicious room service (but my daughter feel asleep almost immediately!). Throughout out 4 day stay, Priscilla as well as another woman at the front desk, gave us advice and directions to make the most of our stay. This hotel quickly felt like our "homebase" and provided much needed rest after running around the city all day. On the last day, another employee, Brian, helped us with our luggage and secured a black car to take us to the airport. Our trip would not have been near as enjoyable had we chosen another hotel or location. This was perfect!

This establishment is close to Time Square, walking distance. Room was on the bit of the small size, but hey your in New York why are you in your room anyway! Elevators were a bit of a problem at check in. Very slow and people have forgotten how to be polite about boarding them.

My stay at the hotel was simply amazing! The room was comfortable and clean, the service from the staff was exceptional and the hotel facilities were top notch. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

They are great in fact many compliments, the rooms are great, comfortable very clean, leaving nothing to be desired. Fast, simple and practical service. Excellent location for what I needed.

+ They allowed us to check-in almost 3 hours early. Convenient location, good price, new furniture and good staff.

I’d stay again.

- The carpet and the bath wasn’t very clean but other than that the room was fine. The hair dryer was not working and it took a while to replace it.

Great location! Everything else is what you would expect for the brand/price point. Our room on the 14th floor was clean and bathroom modern. We did not experience long waits for elevators as mentioned in other reviews. Nice place if you are catching a Broadway show and want to walk to a variety of good restaurants or up to Central Park. Not trendy or luxurious hotel, but good value for the area.

Service is good. Room is clean and well kept. The only caveat is that we were told we would receive a room with two queen beds as opposed to one King however that misinformation I can overlook due to the fact that we at least have the bare necessities and amenities required for the remainder duration of our stay. The accomodations have been overall good and acceptable. The view is nice of the city and the proximity of the location is within close vicinity to Times Square as well as Central Park and other vital areas throughout New York City and Manhattan. Overall I am pleased with the result of the accomodations here.

Well since you insist on me sharing my experience I will.
First of all, the room I booked was to include parking. The room charge was higher because of this. When I arrived I was informed I would have to self-park, but they NEVER informed me they'd be charging me an extra $50 for said parking! I took a bottle of water from the room when leaving which the room said would be $3.00. I was charged $6.00? I requested an upgrade which I didn't get, but was never informed I wouldn't get it.
The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Terrible service. Demanded $25 for me to check in at Noon even though the room was ready. My dropping a bag in a room is no cost to Hilton. There was no housekeeping, so no cost there either. It just insulted me and caused me to wait in line twice more - to check in and to get my bag which I left with them but they could not find. Hilton clearly has no brand standards left.

My husband and I came out from 9/29 to 10/3 for vacation. The hotel was great we ran into Mario Van Peeples at the elevator. I will stay again, the only con we endured was someone came in our room while we were out and stole my husband gray/white Nike tennis shoes. I REPORTED IT BUT NEVER HEARD ANYTHING OF IT. We both brought only two pairs of shoes, one was slides for the airport and tennis shoes for walking. We went out came back and the shoes were missing, even though they said housekeeping was not cleaning rooms.

Such poor customer service, had requested a crib at reservation, got confirmed it was in the room at check-in, still without one at 10pm.
They were going to make it up to me in the morning.very useful with no place for baby to sleep.

Big, spacious rooms. Generally felt clean during our stay. Safe area in Midtown

For improvement:
Elevators were a bit problematic, no housekeeping during our stay due to being short staffed.

Dog Friendly for sure! Tends to be a very busy area so if bars and resturants and alot of in and out visitors. This is not the hotel for you. Very busy during the day and tight rooms.

The location was between 7th and 8th Avenue in NYC, a good location for theater goers, but not easily accessible to museums. It has the feel of midtown/west side - the gritty, busy street scene. The hotel lobby is not well maintained, it has become somewhat "shabby". The former amenities of coffee in the lobby in the AM and lemon water in the PM do not exist any longer and no concierge service.
Rooms are VERY SMALL. Small elevators with slow service which is noted in sign by elevators. Property is in need of renovation. The saving grace is the STAFF, very kind and helpful.

Ons star for location. One star for front desk friendliness. Will never stay here again. Beds and sheets are in need of replacement, and since in NYC we really only used the room for sleeping and showering, the comfort and cleanliness of the beds was most important to our family. This hotel misses the mark in that regard.

Fabulous location, but the room was small and the housekeeping was sporadic. Day manager was accommodating and professional. Restaurant's happy hour was perfect- complete with reasonably prices Blue Point Oysters. Would absolutely stay there again. Hopefully, post-Covid the housekeeping issue will be resolved.
