The food is AMAING! Service is somewhat slow, but they were all kind, got our orders correct and the food made up for the wait. But do not go if you’re in a rush. Atmosphere was good, bathrooms were not.

The Cornish Pasty Co.offers a distinct and delectable experience. The pasties provide a tasty and fulfilling variation on classic comfort food. It's a great option for people looking for filling and tasty pasties in the city because of its laid-back vibe and welcoming staff. Strongly suggested for a delightful culinary experience.

Great place to play darts and get amazing food and drinks. Bring board games and play on the larger tables upstairs

Exceptional overall. Food, drinks, atmosphere, games, and staff all shine at this magnificent Irish treasure. We all loved our pasties, the scotch eggs are on point, and drinks were great. They have pool and darts upstairs as well that make this a fun late night spot too. If you haven’t been, get here!

We sort of all stopped in the front when walking around downtown Phoenix trying to decide where to have dinner. It is a typical English pub setting but carrying a cool vibe in the front. Couple guys were just leaving and highly recommended us this place. They suggested us to go upstairs and told us “this is it…the place you want to be”. It was quite dark but intimate for small groups on each table upstairs. Quite some IPA options for us to go for and pasties were delicious! I ordered Guava IPA as I never had one and I enjoyed it even it tasted more like cider. However Guinness Beef Stew pasty was a home run. Everyone loved it and I instantly regretted not having one to go after we stepped out of the restaurant.

I have yet to receive any decent type of service here dine in or take out. Been here twice so far and I order 3 entrees just for myself both times and some entrees for the others with me. The first visit was dine in and the server seemed uninterested and would stay silent whenever we’d ask a question which made me feel like I was in a weird dream. Second time around I decided to order takeout. I walk in they tell me it’s not ready and he will call me when it is. I go hang out outside for about 5 minutes walk back in and proceed to wait at the bar with the same guy I spoke with. 10-15 more minutes of waiting lean in as he’s checking out the couple beside me to ask if the food is ready but before then he asks me if I need anything? ! I tell him I’m still waiting on my food. He turns around and grabs it. He completely forgot about me. My biggest regret was tipping on takeout. Would not recommend but will definitely be back for food. Please hire better people or train them better

I tried the Spicy Asiago Chicken and Royale with cheese pasties. Both were very different flavors but tasted amazing. The tandoori wings were delicious. So tender and cooked perfectly.

Really can't recommend this place due to service. Showed up early to have a few beers and then dinner. Waitress wanted to close the tab due to shift change before dinner. Ok. Paid. Tipped my 20%. She left. Last waitress I saw. After sitting at my table with an empty glass and no food for 45 min, I gave up and walked across the street to the Irish pub. Decent food and beer there. More attentive staff for sure. I'll go there in the future.
This was a real bummer. I will be in Phoenix at a neaby hotel for work often and really wanted to like this place. My wife is English so I spend a decent amount of time in England and absolutely LOVE English pasties.

One of the best places for unique food. The bar has great bartenders that make consistently awesome cocktails. The pastys are exceptional. I’ve never ordered the same one twice and I’m never disappointed with each new experience.

The only downside to this place is service can be a little slow sometimes but not too bad.

Highly recommend.

Not great. Crust good, fillings bad. I ordered the lamb and, well, it doesn’t come with chunks of lamb like you’d expect, but some kind of lamb loaf that the consistency of tofu — rubbery and gross. I have it 3 stars for ambiance and crust. Service was below average.

Until I try the food I won't raise the rating. We hoofed it from bitter and twisted arriving at 11 with the closing time being 12. Didn't even know they had a bar but we're told kitchen is closed but we can still get drinks. What is your establishment named again? Sorry we assumed we could get your food an hour till close. Not sure we'll be back.

Update: we had been back once, they were out of many items not even too late into the evening, we enjoyed the food we were able to order, just went back again tonight 11/05/21 and sat in the lounge to essentially be ignored. Some girls came in after us and had there orders taken first when we had already been waiting for quite some time just to have an order taken. We Literally stood up and left after he left them and went back up stairs to put in their order and couldn't even come take our order still. In a place where your stock is limited it should probably be first come first serve. Upon going up stairs, I went to inform a waitress of the lack of service we received, this only triggered her to erupt about how many tables the guy has down there and such and such. She didn't listen to anything I had to say nor did she give a damn. Can't say we'll be back to the downtown location ever again and that leads me to believe, we'll never be back to a Cornish Pasty Co location seeing as this was the closest to us.

I absolutely adore this place, especially this location. It's got 3 floors, each with a different mood and feel. The food and drinks are delish and they always have a great selection of draft beers. I enjoy bringing out of town guests here. It's hard not to find something you like with almost 50 pasty options. Best way to describe pasties is an adult hot pocket with a flaky pie crust-like outside. Definitely give it a shot of you find yourself near a location!

Came here to grab some grub before I headed home the other night. I had my heart set on the food here and when you've made up your mind, you're willing to make some concessions in pursuit of that meal.

Well right of the bat, the welcome in to the restaurant left a lot to be desired. No host to greet me or recognize my presence. Then I stood in direct view of the bartender who proceeded to have normal conversation with the already served patrons as if I was not there. Don't get me wrong. Interact with the patrons. However, recognize those waiting to be served even if you won't get to us right away.

I was even able to call the restaurant phone number which went unanswered and sent me to voice-mail before I was finally served.

Needless to say, this put a foul taste in my mouth that will sour my opinion of this otherwise great spot in downtown. People are willing to wait for what they want. Recognize that and don't take advantage of it.

Not the best location I’ve visited so far? Got the Italian (which I’ve had at other locations and is good) -was kinda dogfoody-like not a good smokey meat (which I’ve never noticed before) -burnt shytty smoke (like burnt braise or roast. Bell’s Two Hearted (my fav) on tap tasted like old Lagunitas-classic dive bar dirty tap line flavor. Bartender did not seem to enjoy her job very much but can’t blame her. This place kinda sucks. Managers prob don’t care much here. Never saw one. Maybe don’t have them. Not a fan of this one. Although love the concept-Scottsdale Old town location is bomb. It can be a good dive feel, like good English & Irish bars really have.

One of my favorite spots in Arizona hands down. The hipster vibe reminds me of wicker park back in Chicago and their food is delicious. The chicken pesto and chicken tikka masala are my two favorite pasty’s- I won’t get anything else. They’re wings are super bomb for an appetizer too and their beer selection is good too.

Love that they have a whole vegan and vegetarian menu. Super friendly service, open late, tons of pluses! When we arrived around 10: 30pm they were sold out of all but one vegan option and several of the standard options which was a bummer. If you want to be sure to have full crack at the menu make sure you get there earlier in the day. The music is also LOUD but I’m probably just old. Sitting on the patio helps with the music noise level.

I've only spent time in their downstairs lounge area which I love. The setting is just right to me. The bartenders there in the downstairs lounge area have been VERY attentive and helpful each time I've gone. Only downer is the full menu isn't always available due to ingredient shortages. No worries though, the service makes up for that.

We love Cornish pasties and all locations are great. We usually go to the Chandler location which has great service but this time we were downtown Phoenix mid week about 3pm and it was a great quiet place to meet friends. Food was great and the staff was above and beyond helpful! I just wish all locations would keep Boddingtons on tap! It's been unavailable lately

Really delicious, good atmosphere, and incredibly friendly service! They had a lot of vegan options, which was awesome, and their cocktails are really good. The only reason I can't give five stars is because their QR menu is apparently a little out of date, and one of the desserts that is listed as vegan is apparently no longer prepared that way. I only learned that because I double checked before ordering, but I can see that being a problem. Otherwise fantastic place!

Most uncomfortable restaurant I've ever been in. Currently in the building and it is currently 88 degrees in the portion of the building im in. When I asked multiple staff members for some type of cooling or air circulation I received different answers. One stated there is no ac, another said she wasn't sure how to operate the ac, and another said they don't have control over the temperature. First and last time here.

What a pleasant surprise! Not a big fan of pasties normally but it was late and this was the only open place. Food was awesome, great atmosphere and very thoughtful waitress. Will definitely come back again!

Really good food. If you don't know what a pasty is, its kinda like a calzone but with a lighter flakier crust. But i love the downtown location. The drinks are good, the food delicious, and the atmosphere is like a dark tavern. Def a place to check out when in Phoenix.

We chose Cornish Pasty to cater our wedding reception (needless to say Cornish Pasty is our favorite restaurant). Everything went exceptionally smoothly, and the pasties, potatoes, and salad were all delicious. The catering team was easy to work with, and the prices were quite reasonable. The guests who already knew and loved Cornish all told us what an awesome idea it was to have them do the catering, and many, many of the guests who had never had it before were raving about how good it was. If you’re familiar with the menu, you’ll know that there are plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and even gluten-free options, and it was a cinch to arrange for those items to be served for our guests with dietary restrictions. This was hands down one of the best choices we made when planning our wedding. We’re so glad we were able to share this restaurant we love so much with all of the people we love.

Food has not changed, still delicious. Like many restaurants they are short staffed, expect a longer meal time due to slow service. Place was packed yesterday, on the Saturday we went. Music is Very Loud upstairs and we had a difficult time having a conversation.

Super cool and laid back place. I checked out the downstairs area during my visit and it felt a bit more relaxed than upstairs since it kind of got away from the noise that was coming from outside. Got a few drinks while there and they were super delicious!

Cornish Pastys are my fav, but this one loses a star for the wait time. Makes sense because it's in the heart of downtime, but it takes a little longer for food to arrive here than at other locations. That being said, this building is really cool. Upstairs you can play darts and pool, in the middle you can get your typical Pasty feel with the bar and table dining, and then the lower level has a speakeasy kind of vibe. If you like other Pastys, definitely go out of your way to check out this one, because it's a lot of fun!

First time there. In for lunch and had the traditional pasty, the Oggie. The meat, potato and rutabaga filling was hot and the meat was tender. The pastry was light and flaky. Everything worked well. I'll be back.

Amazing twist on traditional English meal. The mood and environment feel a lot like a traditional English pub. Service was a little slow but considering the number of staff to customers I'm not holding that against them. Overall great experience.

I loved the cornish pasties in downtown phoenix! I am 78 year old grandma and I met my ASU GRANDSON there for lunch! Wonderful experience!
Food was wonderful also serivce
I do believe it has the cleanest rest room in all of PHOENIX!

Visit wasn't unfortunately special. Water glass had specs on it and the water smelled odd - I'm just peculiar about the water. Got one refill on my beverage, so I left thirsty. Didn't feel like asking for a to go beverage because I had to walk back to my vehicle. Otherwise visit with as okay but nothing special. Server was very nice though.

I was a little confused at first with the "seat yourself" option, but once I figured out that there was an upstairs it was fine.
I had the Mexican pasty and it was freaking delicious! I feel like I would go here every time I came to Phoenix! So good!
