Actual chicken not some breading drenched frozen chicken scraps.

Excellent place for Asian food, I usually get take out when driving through and nothing I've gotten has ever disappointed.
Their Crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had and is a must buy each time I go

The owner is a great guy, very friendly and great smile which adds to the atmosphere. Asian cuisine is always great. Recommend the orange chicken!

We order delivery from here a few times a month and it is always super fresh and delicious. The crab rangoons are the best I have ever tasted and the egg rolls are so good with a crispy outside and flavourful cabbage and pork inside. The dinner combinations are all big portions with fresh vegetables and really good fried rice. Lo Mein, General Tsos, beef mixed vegetables and sweet & sour are my favourites.

Best Chinese in Brattleboro AND they deliver! I freaking love the general tso chicken and their crab rangoons have so much flavour and always arrive hot and crispy. Philly roll is also a favourite.

Overpriced and not that good, egg rolls had giant chunks of cabbage, spring roll mushy, fried rice was bleh. Service is the only reason it's not 1 star.

I live right down the street from this joint. The service always sucks, but the ingredients are so fresh they leap off the plate. The chefs know what cooking means, which is so rarely encountered. Highly recommended.

Came in here last night after a long day on the mountains with kids.the Restaurant was Empty, we were given menus and sat there for almost 20 minutes and no one came to even take drink orders, the "waitress" just kinda hung out in the bar area for whatever reason.
So we got up and left and went to another Chinese restaurant and was served right away and left a 200$ Tip.
If the restaurant was packed I would totally understand, but there was only another 2 person party in the entire restaurant.

Don't do it. The woman who answers is incredibly rude- she has no business working in a service industry. The rice is half cooked and half leftover mush. The portions are tiny. They could run a decent buffet for $7.99 AYCE but absolutely not a regular restaurant, delivery or takeout.

If you go to the Asian Gourmet, April will take such good care of you. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink, appetizers or lunch/dinner any time.

Been over two hours. Called and whoever answered the phone didn't understand what I was asking for. Ie, an estimate on delivery time and if they had even received the order in the first place.
The food arrived cold and tasteless.

I ordered pad thai and what was delivered was really just generic, mushy noodles with veg and chicken. I couldn't tell if there was really any sauce on it at all or if it was just the peanut dust that had been sprinkled on top.

You peple need to read the delivery instructions I put to bring change for a $50 bill every single time and I never get that fulfilled. Luckily the driver I had is amazing and went and got change for me. I do not blame the driver I blame the management in that place. If it wasn’t for the fact that they deliver, we would probably all see it go under within a year.

Good, especially for the area. Extensive menu. Fresh produce. Flavor workout the crippling salt at most Chinese food places (not low salt though). My kids love the beef and broccoli.

When i ordered the food from them, They messed up the order and said that they would bring me the correct food when there was next an order to my school- i said fine to that. I did also get food poisoning from the food from the part of the order they did get right, and i called and told them. A week or two after break i called them since i never got that correct food. They first tried to claim that they did bring it that night but then admitted they didnt. I asked for a refund and gave them my card number and they said theyd do it by yhe end of the night. 5 days later i called again asking why i hadnt gotten it and they said theyd been busy and would do it that day or the next. That was a week ago. I still dont have the refund and just disputed the charge with my bank. The times between each call may be slightly off but its been 3 separate calls, the last one was a week ago

Slow with only one waitress working. Food wasn't the best but far from the worst. Over fried some things.

About once every 3 months I go out for dinner with my lady friend. Since I live in West Brattleboro and Asian Gourmet is about an 8 minute walk from my place its a good choice. Try the Dragon sushi! Tastes great and beautifully presented.

The food is good but the delivery time doesn’t feel worth it unless you order a handful of hours ahead. Also customer service was very rude and condescending and I was very polite.

We were staying in Brattleboro at the Holiday Inn and were recommended this restaurant at check in. We are so glad we were told about them! We ordered delivery, probably around 7pm on a Friday night, with a snow storm. They advised about 45 minutes, which was fine, we didnt want to go out to pick it up. We got Vegetable Udon, Crab Rangoons, Scallion Pancakes and Pineapple Fried Rice. It was the best Asian food we've had in a long time. The rice was incredible, lots of different veggies in it I didn't expect but added so much flavor. The Udon and Crab Rangoons were also wonderful. We asked for their chili paste / chili oil to be included and it was delicious. The pancakes weren't as crispy as I like, but I think they just got a little moisture from being hot when put in the box and the drive to the hotel. It all reheated perfectly after our drive home. Would definitely get food from here next time we're in the area.

Yum yum. Hard to find a good hot and sour soup in the area, but Vt Asian Gourmet does a great job! Dumplings are yummy too.

We ordered dinner last night and it left a little to be desired! It was cold and we didn't get what we ordered. Very disappointed, won't be ordering there again.

I've ordered here dozens of times. My order has never been messed up and the food tastes great.

Called in a order for delivery, got the wrong food because the girl didn’t take the order right. Called back to have them fix it and over 2 hours later the order was not even put in yet. The girl that answers the calls was very rude and didn’t care about the service she was giving us. So we will NEVER order there again.

Blah. Got a Pu Pu Platter and the boneless spare ribs are all fat, and the Teriyaki beef sticks are SO SO SO SO thin, barely any meat. Just not that good. Half is getting thrown in the trash

The delivery driver called me from the WRONG address saying he didn't have time to be running around all over town for a $2.00 tip. It doesn't give u an option for a cash tip when you order online bc my kid had cash to give him. The driver was super rude and said he'd head over to the right address but he wasn't gonna make a living bc of me. The food arrived COLD and he forgot the $8.00 worth of drinks I ordered them. Will NOT be ordering again. $50 for 2 chicken fingers and an app.oh and 3 drinks that didn't get delivered. What a joke.

The curry chicken is always delicious and super spicy. Delivery takes about an hour and a half which is expected because of where we live but the food is hot when it arrives. 5 stars

Our sushi appetizer was yummy, but other than that delivery took 2.5 hours last night (1mile away) and once our food arrived, the shumai was freezing cold and the Pad Thai was bone dry with no sauce, tofu, peanuts or sprouts. Pretty disappointed!

Absolutely disgusting! Waited for over an hour for the most disgusting food I've ever had. The rice was stale and soggy, the proportion was mostly just rice and barely any meat. The three dried pieces of meat that were there were just dry and bland. I will be letting everyone in the are know not to eat this disappointing excuse for a restaurant.

Took 3 hours to get my food. Called multiple times, got nothing but attitudes. Driver came here and left just to come back. Food was cold when it got here. Definitely not worth the money.

I was looking to do something fun for my daughters. We decided to get Chinese food and watch the new trolls movie. Showtime in the living room was at 8pm (my daughter are 7 so we made it like a movie theater). Ordered the food at 6: 30 thinking that and hour and a half would be plenty of time. I called back at 7: 45, they informed me that they were looking at an hour and a half to two hour wait on deliveries. So I assumed ok, well I’m already an hour and fifteen into it so it will be here in a half hour or so. No big deal we are an easy going family, in fact this is my first review ever, I felt like I had to get this off my chest. Well we called again at 8: 30 and again at 9. At 9 they said it had left and was on its way.well 10 rolls around and it finally showed up. The only thing more disappointing was the actual food. It was a total mess, duck sauce spilled out and made everything sticky, the food was cold and soggy, it was missing a few items. All around awful, the food previously was hit or miss, I ordered three sushi rolls a few weeks back and after one bite it went in the trash, the fish was clearly bad. I understand that this is a crazy time that we are going through but that leaves no excuse for the poor quality of everything about this, I would have much rather them tell me from the beginning that it would be a four hour wait. Safe to say we will take our business elsewhere from now on.

We ordered our food for a special dinner for our kids. After 2 hours of waiting I called and asked where it was and they told me it was on the way. After over 4 hours of waiting I called at they realized the driver forgot our food. My child just lost a grandparent, all that I wanted was to make him happy. They did offer a refund or to send the food to us. My child’s dinner consisted of ramen noodles and hot dogs. I am not please.

If I could rate this place lower I absolutely would. It was so disappointing and disgusting, it was almost inedible. We waited over an hour for a plate that was 75% rice, 20% bland vegetables and barely any meat, which was dry and somehow chewy. No flavor and all dry. Will never be eating here again. Absolutely disgusting

Not always the best choice for Asian food in Brattleboro, but the only one that delivers for under $25. The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, worthy of 5 star. And other times it's mediocre at best.

I'm not entirely sure how this place has the rating that it does. It was very good when it first opened and until about a year ago it remained that way. Had dinner with there with my family the other night. Told them there was a large party. When we got there we were told we could use two tables. We asked if we could push them together and were told that was fine. No silverware or glasses waiting. Took about a hour for drinks to be served. Another half hour or so for appetizers to come out and then our food was served right on top of our appetizers. Spare ribs were cold. Chicken fingers that were ordered for an appetizer had a huge chunk of shrimp in one of the pieces, good thing there wasn't an allergy. Crab rangoon and dumplings were good! Fried rice was good! Only one woman was running the whole thing, with no help from her managers. There was maybe 3 tables that were being used. The guy who came out to make the sushi that was ordered seemed irritated that he had to do it. Very slow service. I hope they can get things together because the food and service used to be great!

Really this was the worst place I ever ate.service was so bad. Wrong food was served. Cold definitely canned soup. Don't go.

I like a lot of items here. I don't eat in much but did recently. It was quiet and pleasant. My food was good too! I do reccomend them.

The food is really good! However they seem to be having difficulties with their online menu app so I recommend calling in for your order. Mine keeps getting sent to the opposite address from where I am. But it's really good food when I get it!

It took them an hour to get ready with our pick up order despite being told it would be 15-20 minutes. Their excuse was they got busy after receiving my order which still wouldn't explain why our food took so long to prepare. Nevertheless, order your meal way ahead of time to allow for their turtle speed. Food is better here though then other local Chinese restaurants.

Have ordered from here in the past.what happened. What i got tonight was disgusting.burnt egg rolls.wrong order. I ordered chow mein and got sewer soup. Cold food. Not worth the money. Don't bother. Is Just GROSS now

Food cost over $51. For two.no fruit in sweet and sour chicken, rice was nasty chicken fingers small and hard, general chicken nasty.wont order from here again.

The food was of good quality during lunch. I'll definitely go here again. Someone must have called out sick because the host was running around like crazy taking orders and bringing out food.

I am originally from Chicago and have been to a real live chinatown. This place is the closest food I have tasted since leaving! The Ma Pa Tofu was amazing and clean. Wasn't thick and starchy as most are. The Ma Pa had sliced pork instead of ground pork I will admit I do prefer the ground but this was still good. The General Tsao's chicken was so fresh/crunchy and not weighed down with sauce. We kept ordering because the food was more like REAL chinese than any other food here it Vt! We also ordered an appetizer Crab Ragoon. THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD OVERALL outside of Chicago. This food here is legit! Ask the owner for recommendations he is friendly/welcoming and knows what you would like. We also ordered Egg Foo Young because everything was so freaking good! Oh yeah also ordered the scorpion alcoholic for 2 and got a nice lil buzz! Guys trust this is a real review from a real customer. We do not live here but will be back just for this food! Oh yeah pork fried rice is fresh and not loaded down with soy sauce and oil. It's loaded with flavor and the rice is lite and separated. We did not try the sushi this time but next time we will!

This was our third time trying take out. It tasted burnt and some of it did not seem to be fully cooked. Such a waste of money.

Delivery driver is extremely rude. Order was wrong. We ordered extra spicy and it came back mild. Delivery driver threw a fit and threw hot sauce all over the ground outside our apartment when he was sent away where someone could fall in it or an animal could get into it. Gentleman who answers phone is also rude and argumentative.
