Jan was amazing to work with. She always made herself available - weekends, evenings, and even virtually. She was very informative and answered all of our questions. She listened to how we wanted to use the spaces and created storage solutions that met our needs.

We have a very tiny closet so it was a challenge! We are loving the result! Everyone involve was nice, helpful and professional.

The installers were here on time, it was pretty much an all day job they did a great job and the murphy bed looks great and good quality!

Great experience with them. Jan was amazing to work with and brought so many unique and great ideas to the table. She really worked hard to design the perfect closet for us.

I had a Murphy bed with cabinets installed in my guest room. It was exactly like I had envisioned. Guys who came were extremely professional and clean. My designer was amazing. All in all an excellent experience and I would recommend to anyone looking to get organized.

Everyone from the designer to the crew that implemented the design were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a quality product installed correctly.

In short: Walk away and find another company.

I had this company design and install custom his/hers closets in a new construction home in 2009. At that time, and for the next 13 years I had been satisfied with the custom closet. The drawers were of good quality, pull-down clothes racks functioned well. Valet rod and tie racks were great accessories. At that point, I had never encountered any issues, so fast forward 13 years when we moved into a new house.
The "new" Space Manager was under new management. New employees (basically a revolving door) and disorganization seem to define the new Spaceman. The structural materials are cheap and flimsy, suitable for a college students dorm room or someone's "first apartment" out of school.

Unfortunately, this was my second and last time dealing with "Space Man". They were a good company (years ago, under different ownership), now they are not. I cannot and will not recommend them to anyone.

They are by no means inexpensive, which makes this that much worse. There should be bargain basement pricing for the quality they provide.

We planned for a murphy bed and custom desks. We were considering between SpaceManager and California Closets. Ultimately we chose SpaceManager because they were a little cheaper. Well, you get what you pay for. And, in our case, working with SpaceManager was not worth the $14,000. Prior to install, I had some questions for our designer, Audrey. She had stopped answering calls, texts, and emails. Every time I called the office, they said she would call me back and she never did. Come to find out she was no longer with the company, and instead of communicating that with me and putting me in touch with another designer I was left wondering and waiting. When it came time for install, the metal doors we had wanted were the wrong color, because Audrey didn't know the names of the colors when we were designing and she kept saying yes I think it's this one. But it was wrong. The wrong hardware was sent. The murphy bed side measurements were incorrect so the unit was too large for our door to open. Our brand new wood floors were damaged (which after pushing and pushing SpaceManager did credit us for the amount of the floor repair), the countertops that were installed were scratched and the edges were not finished cleanly, and many pieces were scratched or damaged. Also, some details in the build were wrong like our grommets on the desk and the drawers on the murphy bed wall. With all the issues, I tried multiple times to contact the office. I spoke to the install manager Daniel who told me Jara would be taking over our build. I spoke to Jara a couple of times, but she was not very communicative and often ignored texts, voicemails, and did not return calls (either deliberately or the front desk didn't tell her). 80% of the time I called and was told I would get a call back, no one would ever call. Jara was quick to pass us off to Wendy who I have been told is just in charge of scheduling. It finally came time to have all the fixes made and one of the installers broke the murphy bed, so now that had to be replaced to. Since the original murphy was not the right size, we also now had wall damage from that being removed. After the second install trip, we still had some issues that needed to be fixed (lighting) that the installer said he told the office about. We waited and waited and then received a call to make sure things were done. Wendy said no one had told her there were still things to be fixed (company line). We got it scheduled to get the last of things fixed and then the wall guy was supposed to come out after. We waited again then I received calls and emails from the lady at the front (Laura or Lauren) about collecting payment and I told her AGAIN we were not finished yet. Finally get the wall guy out. He came and turned on his shopvac in reverse blowing dust EVERYWHERE over our office and throughout our entry way. While he did remove the caulking and fix the paint, you can still see and feel where the damage was. And we were left with a huge dusty mess to clean up, which really shouldn't be surprising at this point since the cleaning was subpar each time (basically just heavily spraying strong orange scented cleaner and wiping up real quick). I understand that things will not always go perfect, but for $14,000 there should not be this many issues, there should be more professionalism, and more communication (both with the client and within the business). I never felt like anyone was actually listening. They just passed us around. Jara always talked with a condescending tone and acted as though she was being put out by having to deal with us. I will say Wendy was always polite, nice, and understanding on the phone. She did her best given that she is not involved in designing (again from what I have been told). When we made our last payment upon completion we were asked if we were happy. Like I told her, we're happy to be done with it, but not happy with how we were treated and the process. If I could do it all over again, we would have gone with California Closets and not wasted time and money with this company.

It started with filling a request online for custom closet arrangements. Sabrina called me the following day and we started with taking measurements and then in person studio visit to pick the style we wanted. Sabrina was very helpful throughout the process. We originally picked a color for our entertainment section and it was back ordered and Sabrina gave us options to wait or opt for a different color to move things along which we did, although it costed us a little more but it was worth it. The installation guys were very courteous and respectful of our home and did a beautiful job as well. Money well spent! Thanks guys!

Loved the end result. Have used this company in the past for commercial and residential work and their quality and service has been excellent!

Space Manager went above and beyond our expectations. Al Naquin is incredibly talented and we are so impressed with him and enjoyed his company. He designed naval ships for the military at one time…imagine how good he is at designing spaces for your home. He designed our cabinetry for our family room, media room, wine room and knocked it out of the park designing my master closet. It is a DREAM! He met all my needs and organized the space so beautifully. My built in vanity is outstanding and includes so many bells and whistles.

Jesus and Giovanni installed everything and were professional, on time, worked efficiently and were very neat and trustworthy. They were respectful of our home and highly skilled at what they were doing. Our floating shelves in our family room and wine room have dimmable lights beneath them that are show stoppers. We cannot recommend them enough.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPACE MANAGERS. The projects are manufactured in Houston and the finished product is amazing. You will not regret your decision.

Chris did an excellent job on the installation. He was on time and meticulous with his work. He is most professional in all aspects of installation; Asenet was very professional in her designs and presentation to my wife and I. She answered all questions and her proposals were very accurate. Great job by the entire team at Space Manager!

I was looking all over for a custom closet. I looked into 3 companies and finally settled on Space Manager off of 290. I worked with Al on the design. He is very knowledgeable and was able to give me a rendering with my vision. It was very easy to understand the cost and where I needed keep or cut. The selection and choices were quite plentiful from LED lights, two tone shelves, jewelry drawer, and glass shelves. I was able to make this my dream closet. He was very accessible and accommodating and helping me throughout this process.

I needed the update quickly since we were renovating majority of the house and I was living out of packed boxes. So I asked to see if I can get it done less than a month. Luckily at that time they said they were able to.

Now here is where some issues during the process. So I wanted a cedar backing for my closet and during to booking process the system crashed so the notes were lost on my cedar and two tone shelves. So the first day they can to install. I asked about it and noticed it. That was when between the installers and office mgrs they found the issue. This is where it could have turned bad but they were professional and able to fix it. The redid the entire project to the right color and specs. It did take another 2 weeks then expected but turned out amazing. The installers were really nice. They took care of the house not leaving it messy or dirty. They checked and ensured that the closet was the way I wanted it. The professionalism of installers was above and beyond. The last day they cleaned the entire close and made it sparkle and just beautiful. Over all I love the closet. I know there is always challenges but it is how the company handles it. They not only fixed it and made me a life long customer. I am convincing my mom to get one too that is how amazing this company is.

Great work, quick, efficient and very professional. I would definitely schedule more projects and refer to my network as it was a seamless process.

Had a custom closet and a custom set of cabinets installed in my master bedroom. They did excellent quality work for a fair price. Would for sure use them again for another project.

I truly appreciated having the designer Jenny come to my home and really explore the options within my budget that maximize the space I have to work with along with the follow though from design to installation. A queen size Murphy Bed instalation. The designer did an excellent job suggesting placement and providing color, profile, and hardware option. Once a design was determined, Jenney took measurements an instalation date was scheduled.
Instalation was professional, timely and clean, leaving my home neat and with a great guest bed when the two installers left. All steps of instalation were explained and all functions as well. I highly recommend SpaceManager.

By far the most unprofessional experience I’ve had when dealing with a company. Not only did they acknowledge that my file “slipped through the cracks” when our designer quit and things were all over the place. They failed to makeup for their incompetence over and over again. No returned calls, missing parts were not installed, wrong measurements and the list goes on.
They sent an email SIX months later trying to resolve part of the issue.its ridiculous.

They dont care about their customers, if they did there would be an effort on their part. I can honestly say there has been ZERO effort to complete our project.

Look for another company for your custom closet needs.

Excellent customer service from the beginning to the end. They did a great job I am super happy with the result. The design, the timing, the quality and of course with the final product!

It was a true time investment because I wanted to love the design aesthetic but I also Needed a better use of space.

My designer Al from Space Manager was amazing. He took the most time and care and had what I felt was the design that fit me and our space the best.

He was a joy to work with…he created a space that I truly believe reflect my hubby and I.

We had a few snags in the process but Space Manager went above and beyond to resolve any and all issues to my satisfaction!

At the beginning they appeared to be a good company to use. Heather the sales person was communicative and helpful in addressing our need. We ordered a full closet for our master bedroom on the 4th floor in a brand new townhouse. Initially things were ok then unbeknown to me on the the 4th day they stopped cutting their boards downstairs in my garage downstairs and started using my 4th floor patio. Worse they try to sweep the debris down and the water ran down our outer white walls and windows.it was a nightmare. Debris were all over my patio and the stain made streaks all the way down. We called Heather and the office to do the clean up and to this day they never call me back or apologize. I find them extremely disappointing and rude. They owe me a huge apology and a clean up job. Will not recommend. Stay. Away.
