Update from previous review: things have settled with new ownership & they answer the phones! Very happy. They got me the money I needed plus gave me a deal layaway.

This new staff of Women are rude, condescending and unprofessional.
Nothing like the other locations. Nothing like the older National pawn and Jewelry. I have different accounts with layaways at different stores. This one isn't my favorite.however I gave them 2 stars because
The only person I met that was appreciative of my business was the manager AFTER I escalated an issue to upper management to the district manager. If you ever have an issue with this store. Make sure you are polite and have a real problem. Don't waste the managers time. If it's something they can worked through the district manager can help. Try solving the issue inside first. If not I'd recommend to contacting the district manager because sometimes stores don't give their staff proper customer service skills. Working with people isn't an easy job sometimes and when you have talk these types of staff. It's easy to become frustrated.
Don't expect to be met with the nicest people in the world. Definitely not the nicest people to do business with. With the exception of the district manager. Then again the Managers can't be there all the time.

Rude Customer service.
The women behind the desks leave people on hold And give the impression THEY want your to lose the items in pawn shop. Scam you out of your money.
The young lady has a bad attitude and acts all ghetto. This is worst pawn shop in Austin.

After Calling This location to get rid of old games, they were Only willing to give me 15 cents for I just received $55 for from first cash pawn In Round Rock for ten video games, they have the money to give, this location always giving the least for items that we spend to much money on. I hope they close one day just a waist of a building. I wouldn't want to say I work here.

Always extremely friendly ladies and gentlemen. They take their time with you never pushy service. Everyone has such a wonderful sense of humor I love coming back here time and time again. Thank you all for your help and hard work!

There was a young Latina woman and an older white woman working at the time.sorry I didn’t catch any names. But they have beautiful personalities & great customer service! I wish they could work at my stores if they were not so far away! Better give them a raise before someone steals them! Lol they helped me look for more items that they didn’t have in stock, at their other locations, explained everything in detail and were very helpful! Please give them a raise they definitely deserve it! Don’t let associates like that walk away, they are worth it! They are assets to your business I will come again, but only to THIS specific pawn shop!

Joanna and Juvie helped me so much today at the Palmer location they were patient and went above and beyond to help me. I requested my tickets be broken into three which I know was not only a ton of paperwork but a hassle in general. I think Juvie was also helping for the day from another location AND STILL made me feel very secure and knowledgable. With the world being what it is I am sure there are a lot of first timers at their location and it was seamless and helped me keep my home. I cannot say thank you enough

I called to make sure they had an item I was looking for. I was told they did so I asked for more information. The person who I spoke to said that it was a long list since they had several. I show up at the shop within an hour of calling and to my surprise there was not a long list. The item wasn't even available.

Treated like I was more than a customer. Excellent prices and great customer service. Most pawnshops act like you’re an interruption of the day, not so with this one. Thank God they’re not Cash America Pawn! Strongly recommend this place.

These people are always soo amazing! When I fell behind with like 4 tickets one time, I came in a like almost a week past due & they allowed me to pay what was owed & put everything back into pawn. I was soo happy & thankful! I've gotten several purses from them before too & they always are willing to go down a little on the price, especially if I get 2 or 3 at a time! I've also gone in a few mins past closing & she still took care of me cause I just needed to extend a ticket. So overall, they go above & beyond to work with me & I love them for that! By far the best customer service! I wrote an upset review a while back due to a line they had & now I wish I could find them & remove them because what they have done for me since then.well it by far beats that line & that 1 not so great experience!

I have been coming for years and have brought my items in and picked up. Now I brought my item in and they said not taking this item anymore. When a few days ago Mgr said if it’s been here before bring back. Poor service I say or lack of communication! One thumbs down

This place is the best anytime I go in to buy or pawn something. They have great prices and the staff is always professional and friendly! Been going here for about 10 years and this place has been consistently awesome!

Best pawn shop I've ever been to In my Life premium quality products a wonderful staff. I've been to a lot of places and purchase lots of items from many shops before but this one definitely was one that I always remember and come back and get my business to I got wonderful ring and I got a bunch of other items that satisfy me to the core even when a couple of the items weren't where they were supposed to be for didn't work quite quite that way they're supposed to they gave me a 24-hour capability comeback return those items which most pawn shops never do is truly some places here to customer service and a place I will have always have my business and made me feel at home in my new place in Austin. Ms. Hinda was a great wonderful help get my daughter a table something she wanted for a long time in I was Able to get it this time I can’t wait till go back to National pawn and jewelry or W. Palm Ln.

Christopher was excellent. Since I walk in the door he was friendly and professional. He explain everything in details and make me feel welcome. When I return to the store three days later, he take care of me immediately help me with my shopping and when about and beyond to make sure I get what I want and help me take my purchase to my car.

Chris took great care of me. Although I know it's possible, even expected to negotiate for a better price at pawn shops, I'm not a very good haggler. I shared this fact with Chris, and he said no worries he would give me his best price that he could, and he did - a substantial amount off the sticker price! Go see Chris, he will do you right!
