My air conditioner stopped working on a Sunday and I was desperate to find a repair company that would repair the system and not take advantage of my lack of knowledge about this equipment. I contacted Lantz Plumbing and they responded the next day. They stated that the crew would arrive between 12 and 2 and i got a text at 12 they were on the way. Two technicians arrived and asked when and what was occurring and asked to see thermostat and air conditioner system. Quickly they discovered the issue was a clogged drain pipe and started to try and unclog the the pipe. It took multiple attempts that included climbing the stairs into the attic with different types of equipment. Needless to say it was desperately hot and uncomfortable in the attic space. Both techs maintained a professional attitude and were focused on getting the job done. The lead technician had 25 years of experience and was born in Lago Vista. They were able to fix the problem in approximately 2 hours. I thanked the lead technician for not taking advantage of my lack of knowledge and not saying it was a more complicated issue that would require more time and increase the cost of the service visit. He thanked me for being able to realize that issue and they were focused on building a great reputation in Lago Vista not gouging customers to make a quick profit. He stated they were not the least expensive company but they were fair. I was impressed with the timely, professional and honest approach that the employees of Lantz Plumbing demonstrated while fixing the problem. So impressed that I intend to get their yearly maintenance contract for the air and furnace systems. Thanks again the the techs who solved my issue.

Darren & Everson were FANTASTIC! They were on time, friendly & efficient. They knew exactly what they were doing, explained that it was the capacitor & even showed me the difference in voltage between the old one & the new one. This is not the first time we've Lantz's come help us & it won't be the last. I highly recommend them. Thank you for the fabulous cold air coming through the vents!

Tank to Tankless Water Heater Conversion.

I'm the guy that does everything themself.except plumbing. Brandon diagnosed the inconsistent water pressure, found the source of the rusty water and lucky me, discovered a cracked water heater. I was immediately shocked by the quote but proceeded to hire Brandon. He had an honest explanation of what was wrong and he answered all 10,000 questions of mine patiently. As with any project you're unfamiliar with there's more involved that you can anticipate. I was able to check in on Brandon's progress as he uninstalled a hot water tank and installed the new tankless unit. If you're thinking of DIY, don't. There's more to this job than you think. If that's not convincing, just know they installed quality equipment by Navien. These units have to be installed by a licensed plumber to receive a warranty.

Darren and sidekick were both excellent service folks. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. It was actually a pleasure to have them in my home for the brief period it took them to correct my problem. I can't imagine how it could have been better.

I manage many short term rentals in the Lago Vista/Point Venture area and always having some kind of a/c or plumbing issues and I know just who to call. They are probably tired of me calling for all these different homes but they are always helpful and courteous on the phone. I had guests in a home that was 90° inside due to the AC going out and they had two small children in there with them and they were able to come and fix the AC, after hours too, And got everything back up and running. There’s nobody else I would call for my AC and plumbing issues.

Our AC went out during 105 degree weather so we called Lantz plumbing around 1pm and they were able to squeeze us in same day. Greg, our technician, gave us a call even earlier than we expected that same day and was kind enough to wait while we drove back from Cedar Park. When he arrived he was quick and thorough, got our AC back on, and shared several different options with us. He was extremely kind and informative. Highly recommend!

Brandon was very polite and professional. He listened to and addressed all of my concerns regarding my tankless hot water heater. He was very thorough and patient with me while explaining how the wiring issues with my tankless heater weren't supplying the water heater with enough power to generate hot water. It was a pleasure working with Brandon.

Fast, but super expensive. Asked them to fix a 3/4" water valve and they charged us $300

Darren did an awesome job. He quickly diagnosed the problem (blower fan) and was able to locate a replacement part and install the same day. Great customer service!

Friend of the family suggested Lantz's after bad luck with the large competitors and was quite impressed with the service, knowledge, and timing of theses guys. Our A/C went out during the peak heat of the day. They came out next morning and we were up and running within the hour. We called after 4: 30 pm on a Friday afternoon and told Brittany we were from out of town & needed to go back this evening, and asked if she could get someone out right away. Within an hour she had Eduardo at our doorstep. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Our A/C was back up and working within 45 minutes for less than $250. Amazing! No wonder they have so many 5 start reviews.)

Greg White troubleshooted a problem with my air handler in my condo at the Island on Lake Travis. He helped determine the cause for the problem which would have caused the AC to fail if left unchecked. I really appreciate his professionalism, knowledge, expertise, and willingness to determine the cause of the problem which was not immediately obvious. Thanks.
