Joe Boyd and his team provided the best customer service and did an outstanding job updating our kitchen. We are so happy with the job! Don’t think twice about calling them, they’re top notch.

My experience with the Kitchen Tune-Up team was great. Starting from the initial consultation when Joe listened to my plans and budget then provided a proposal that matched my request. This professionalism continued through the remodel whereby although I was traveling, the team continued to complete the remodel and upon my return had completed the work ahead of schedule. The remodel is wonderful, only wish I had contracted them sooner. I have additional work that I plan to contract Kitchen Tune-Up to complete without getting any other bids. I would whole heartedly recommend this professional team to anyone looking at a small face lift or a complete remodel.

We setup an appointment for 1.30pm on Thursday. Two days prior, I had two voice mails and 2 text messages to confirm the appointment. I did confirm.

Then the person comes earlier and keeps ringing the doorbell. And a voice mail and a text message in the middle of a work day saying the person has come earlier and asking if I can keep the earlier time.

Totally unprofessional. The price quoted was out of the ball park for re-stain in some little areas and then, protection.

Would not recommend this company. You might be better off taking a quote from some experienced companies for the work that they do.

Most recently Kitchen TuneUp (Joe Boyd and assoc) designed a custom cabinet to add pantry space in the kitchen. As before, his team was attentive, skilled, neat and efficient. Kitchen Tune Up experience consistently excellent.

Really nice finished product. We wanted a totally new look for a thirty year old kitchen. We didn't want to replace the original builder's cabinets as we liked the lay out and they were in good shape. Joe walked us through the options and we decided to reface them - new doors with a modern shaker style, light color rather than the existing dark oak, new pulls and drawers. The kitchen looks totally different than before and we're really happy with the finished product. The kitchen is brighter, cleaner, and modern looking. Whole process took 5 days once the crew started. We had visited with Joe a few times before to make color and style choices. Good communication, timely appointments, clear invoicing. No complaints. The crew scratched the floor moving the refrigerator but they brought it to our attention and made it right in the end, so I appreciate the honesty and emphasis on customer satisfaction. Would recommend for cabinet refacing!

They transformed my kitchen into a beautiful luxurious place to cook all my favorite food. Our thanksgiving was enjoyable because of all the work they did. They refinished my kitchen cabinets, converted my lower cabinet to trashcan pullout, changed my countertops, installed backsplash and neatly completed all the installation within two weeks without making any mess in my kitchen. We got a kitchen update. Kitchen tune up painted our cabinets, upgraded our quartz counter tops, and installed a new stone backsplash. We went from our traditional Texas dark brown to that new clean white. We love it

We recently used Kitchen Tune up for our large kitchen remodel. They painted our cabinets, installed soft close hinges on the cabinet doors, and removed our previous backsplash and installed a new one. The quality of the work was very good- particularly with the painting and backsplash installation. The backsplash installer was incredibly attentive to detail and a true artist, even with our herringbone design! They were responsive in our planning phase and also helped to meet a firm deadline for our move in. We are overall pleased with their work and are looking into working with them on our laundry room remodel as well.

This was intended to be a cheap option that would get us through until a major remodel, but the work, craftsmanship and quality product have resulted in what looks like a completely new kitchen. The whole process took less than 3 weeks, which was significantly quicker than I thought it would be. Kitchen Tune Up Sugar Land provided an outstanding service! The process from the initial meeting/quote to the execution and the clean up exceeded expectations. It's always challenging to find a great contractor you can trust who will do an incredible job, and be professional and responsive but without a doubt KTU went above our expectations in all those areas. We hired Joe to do a full kitchen remodel, including replacing our tile floors. EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE on his team were amazing to work with and produced quality work. During demo they worked hard to minimize as much dust and debris as possible and kept a clean environment throughout. Joe was constantly checking in to see how we felt things were progressing and answered all our questions (even the dumb ones!). The custom work they did with our pantry and kitchen island was awesome. The sheetrock repair job after we had a load bearing wall removed was incredible. What I really appreciated was that they involved us in every decision just to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Even our electrician commented on how professional the team was and how easy they made his job. I would hire them again in a heart beat and even recommended them to my mother. Joe and his crew are professional. Professionalism is not always guaranteed in home remodeling but kitchen tune up was. They were accommodating, addressed concerns, and fixed issues. They reworked their people and time to help with my schedule. When I was worried, they answered and addressed my concern. And when something was not done to my satisfaction, they came back twice until it was fixed. Would recommend them.

To say our kitchen got “tuned up” is an understatement. Kitchen Tune Up took us from a dated 90’s kitchen to our dream kitchen. We were looking for a company who could do it all including design, and they came up with an awesome design we hadn’t even thought of.
